I'm surprised this still exist's, considering, videotape was wiped, repeatedly. I'm guessing, this is on low-grade film? Which would explain, the 'shaking' of the video, presented here.
@sugardaddy815: It was their explosive era. They had the top 15 songs in the Boston area one week. I was a big Beatle fan back then and I've got a lot of my favorite Beatle tunes on my MP3 player. I also had the best bangs in my high school yearbook. Even the girls were jealous! Where did all my hair go?
Nothing like today , if you were young in the early 1960's ,the whole of teenage America had one mind , The Beatles ! You always carried your Tranistor Radio, just in case a new song was comming out. Kids back then were kinda all on the same page day to day. When hula hops came out we all did it When yoyos, and tops came out we all did it. You felt like a part of America,we all did the same stuff, and all watched The beatles that one night on The Ed SULLIVAN Show.
This just makes me wish I was born in the late-1940 or early-1950s...how that would be great to have seen all of 4 of them(while young or alive) then, y'know.
Like WOW! The Beatles! Aren't they the swingin' livin' end? Ya dig, chick?
The girl and boy delivering these trite lines sound stitled and the cue cards have inane, quasi-au courant lingo. It just doesn't come off as convincing. "I'll borrow wheels and we'll go girl, go." Bad script.
To fromthesidelines: There are existing copies of the concert -- I saw the footage several times at "Beatles Nights" during the Seventies, where someone would collect anything and everything on film with Beatles, rent a movie theater, and charge a couple of bucks fir a midnight showing. You're not missing much by not seeing it, save for the repositioning of Ringo's drum set several times. It was a theater-in-the-round setup for the concernt, but they didn't ahve a rotating stage!
A closed-circuit simulcast of the Beatles' March 14-15, 1964 concert in Washington D.C. was seen in certain movie theaters across the country [through National General]- this was an "advance" ad seen only in the theaters that were to carry the event on their "big theater screen". Wonder if a kinescope of those concerts exist?
Witness the birth of the "Rock Concert" era, with promotions and dialogue that get ANYONE jacked for the show. What a great rare spot. Thanks for sharing!
i missed it.. i was born 1998.. SHIT

Now a days you go online to get your tickets, back then they probably had to walk all the way to the lobby just to buy them.
