what i love about wow lore is how they dont just make up bosses and come up with stories for them... here you can see how he met arthas, and in part 1 theres an artifact he needs that was made by deathwing :)

Illidan is one of the most misunderstood characters ever. Gets locked up for being manipulated by demons, after 10,000 years he's released by Tyrande, and goes about, helping them kill demons. Sure, he took the power of Gul'dan's skull which corrupted him, but it was only for the power to defeat Tichondius. So, Illidan's a hero, but his brother banished him anyway for being one. When he turns villain, i figure it's because he was so misunderstood and he just hated everyone for it.

here's a few wrongs about Illidan, he never had any compassion in him for anyone, all he did was for mostly for him and occasionally to impress Tyrande.. second, he just steals the power of the Skull because he feels that power belongs to him and he should have it! he had a choice to either destroy the skull or absorb its powers.

3, he didn't came back a villain, in W3 TFT he called himself LORD OF OUTLAND, I wouldn't forget that tiny information.

Illidan really did get screwed over. Tyrand and Malf should be killed by a raid not illidan =[ (Already taken Tyrand down!). One thing that lingers in my mind is. Illidan & Arthas were evenly matched in combat before he obtained the skull of Gul'dan and the orb of Kil'jeaden, yet when he had all the 'power ups' and battled the same arthas, he looses? silly silly silly.

Illidan does the job, gets the results, wins the wars AND pays the price. And instead of gratitude he gets contempt. People like that need to be enslaved and flogged every other day. Then maybe they would be grateful to him for not being flogged every day.

WoW, Tyrande is a cruel bitch! She killed a lot of Sentinels and Califax one of the sons of the Demi God Cenarious in order to free Illidan after 10.000 years, that only had one day left to fullfill his sentence of spending 10,000 year in jail.

PS: That must be true love for sure or she got the hots for Illidan. In between why doesn't Tyrande & Malfurion have any childrens of their own and don't say because it is to soon.
