  • What property is this?

  • @johnathon15walters - Great camera and one of our favorite to mount to the Hatcam hat! Make sure you get the universal camera mount if you want to mount it to the Hatcam cap!

  • god when he shot tht hen... it looks like a pillow case exploded. i did tht when i shot a duck 1 feet away blew half of his chest off and his head, still cleaned it though. thts some good eatin

  • hows that led taste

  • the rest of these guys that dont realize some states are underpopulated with pheasants(i live in NY were there is like 1 bird ) and its legal to kill females cause the state releases them. why the bell on the dog though? even farm raised birds are gonna hear that coming lol

  • you absolutely blew the absolute shit outta the pheasant at 1:22. Let the thing get away a little idiot.

  • @TheKratoKiller Because they taste good.

  • WOW That's amazing! I've never seen that before! :D That would be perfect to wear while hunting doves.

  • wow, that was a close shot at 1:22 coulda blown ur buddys head off, but i wasnt there maybe it was further than it looked.

  • great video

  • how much for a hat cam>?

  • @armykiller96 - $24.95. All info, videos, and online store can be founbd at hatcams com.

  • @skibum5722 thank you

  • your shooting hens?

  • @jake84971 - Hens are legal to shoot in CT.

  • @skibum5722 I'm in CT, as well! Hoping to get my hunting license next year, classes filled up too fast this year. My dad is getting his pistol permit now, so we will have a pistol for self defense as well as my 870.

  • I love pheasant hunting! looks like it was a nice damp day to keep the sent down in the grass for the dog. Great video!

  • Hunting is amazing. Nothing better than blowing an animal away. Suck on it peta :)

  • @tronclay why would you take a hunters safety course if sport hunting is retarded?

  • @SuperOlds88 because REAL hunting was originally done for food and materials, not just to have the chance to say you killed something.

  • @tronclay you need to learn how to read better.

  • @SuperOlds88 Something tells me that you never got anything above a D in school before you dropped out at grade 10.

Why dont you get to the point and say something intelligent or shut the fuck up already?

  • @tronclay grade 5

  • 2:01 Utter pwnage

  • At 1:56 you really displayed that you know your safety rules. you only brought up your muzzle after you were not pointing near the other hunter thnx for being a respectable hunter

  • 2:55 - 2:58

  • ill never understand why people do this for sport- you are shooting a bird with a gun that probably shoots a pattern 3 times as big as its body. Thats like changing the hoop on a basketball court to the size of a small swimming pool..... Wheres the challenge, and subsequently, the fun?

  • @tronclay obviously, you have never bird hunted. Plus these guys are hunting hatchery birds. Hatchery birds dont have the same instincts a wild bird has. They dont fly as well, they dont run, they are like you, stupid.

  • @tronclay its harder than that u haft to have a good shot

  • @tronclay its hard enuf you haft to have a good shot i do a lot off hunting and it would not boder me if i ditent shot anything it anys me people who go out and just shot loads of birds and den dont eat them i eat mot f what i kill

  • dang! that is one talented hunting dog for it to be one years old

  • what a great shot there suck ass

  • Here in Iowa pheasants have been so thin for the past 2, 3 years and I hate it.

  • 2:01

  • the guy who shot shot like 10 or 15 feet away from the camra man ,sorry watched the vid again and it wasant that close

  • the guy who shot shot like 10 or 15 feet away from the camra man

  • I am from NH and we shoot hens here also, they are all stocked and they dont survive the winter years ago they tried to have us only shoot roosters but then they realized that it is impossible for them to reproduce in the high elevation of New England.

  • @olred22re I'm from NH, where are you located at?

  • @MyNameAintEarl270 Im from Hancock how bout you?

  • @olred22re Marlow, bout 18-20 miles north of Keene

  • @MyNameAintEarl270 Nice I love this state!! Well goodluck to you this turkey season starts tomorrow Ill be out there tonight puttin the birds to bed and hopefully will be waking up a nice big gobbler!

  • Hi from france bro

  • How can you shoot a bird so close, how sad, bet you don't eat that one without breaking your teeth on the shot inside it

  • i thought shooting hens was illegal

  • I like that you have the dog out at such a young age but did you train her on live birds or on artificial sent?

  • lol at that first kill. just a huge stream of feathers.

  • Wow I like how you guys shoot hens... hope it's legal where you are.

  • cant hunt hens in ohio

  • It depends on the area if it's legal to shoot hens in PA it even varies by parts of the state...

  • i just got back from my phesant hunt yesterday, i did it with a hat cam to but it was down so it wasnt as good as this, im gonna post my videos up later, i had an under over 20 g

  • Just weird to see hens get shot. I have to check out the cams though, as I make a lot of videos to promote my website.

  • @wwwDarkTacklecom - Check them out at hatcams com!

  • @wwwDarkTacklecom i thought it was only legal too hunt roosters

  • shooting hens is just plain nonsence, if u think about it when u kill a hen pheasant your killing about 6 to 12 more pheasants plus or minus a few

  • @pheaseantsforever77 - Again, these are stocked hens. They would never have reproduced in the environment where we were hunting. Also, it's CT - where shooting hens is legal. Visit hatcams.com for more hunting and fishing HATCAM videos. See which professional angler and TV host is teaming up with Hatcams for 2011!

  • @pheaseantsforever77 its not easy to tell a hen from a rooster when they are first flushed.

  • @willdog3 yeah it is easy to tell a rooster from a hen.... you should never take a shot untill you are sure what you are shooting.

  • @pheaseantsforever77

OF those 6-12 pheasants you "kill" only like 3 might reach adulthood at best. You're correct that roosters must be shoot because in the winter the compete for food with the hens, which rooster have a big advantage over because they have spurs.

  • Personally, I think this video or all videos would be better without the music. I think it's better to see, hear, and feel the natural sounds of the hunt. Music in the background just gets in the way.

  • why are you shooting hens?

  • @vatti902 - We get this comment alot. This is legal in the state of Connecticut. Even more so on private land.

  • i went pheasant hunting recently but it was well....boring compared to duck and geese, i shot my limit in around 7 or 8 minutes and then asked myself... "what now?" the only thing to do was clean birds and walk home, im gonna stick to duck, geese, sand hills, dove, and quail

  • nice hunting my friend going hunting this weekend it gonna be fun

  • that looked very cool in slow motion. :)

  • 1:52 was that a hen pheasant or a grouse?

  • @TopFlightGolfer - A mix bag. All hens were taken lgegally.

  • Damn! You obviously can whack hens where you live. Let em get out a little further!! Nice looking lab!

  • where was this filmed?

  • im 14 years old and thiis weekend is the starting of nw iowa youth pheasant season. I always go to the dickenson county pheasants forever, thats were i got my first bird ever 2 years ago. Cant wait till this saturday going to have a blast! :D

  • @huntingrules1231 ;D lucky ur in nw iowa and im stuck in central where i've gone 4 weekends in a row and only seen 4 birds 3 of em hens

  • @SuperBman123 HAHA!!! guess what?!?! first day of youth....got 3 birds but only found 1...so i fillled my tag correctly....and just today....the starter of regular there were HUNDREDS of hunters from illinois, indiana, wisconsin you name it and i also got 3 birds tody...but was only able to find 1......again...

  • @huntingrules1231 ;) i got 2 on sunday to but could only find one... probably only pheasants i am going to see this year :{

  • @SuperBman123 Well were you live? my dad works at the elevator and they use the terragators to water the pubic lands in this area....... he said it was probobly one of the coolest sights ever because of all the pheasants flying out of there!! oh and the terragotor got stuck...but yea wer u live...town exactly

  • @huntingrules1231 i live in radcliffe its about 20 minutes north of ames

  • Comment removed

  • @SuperBman123 i live about an hour away from you

  • @huntingrules1231 where u live?

  • @SuperBman123 i love in lake park

  • Why are you shooting hens???

  • @hittman801 In some places they have certain days were you can hunt hens, around 30 miles from were i live ther is a Pheasant hunting guide who bought a license and when he takes you out hunting on his land your allowed to shoot hens....well nw iowa doesnt have the certain days for hen season, and i dont really want it either id rather stick with shoting roosters

  • 1:20 quick scope

  • wiat iam confused does this company make hats to hold other manufactures cameras or is it cameras that are designed to fit on your hat?? iam confused

  • @1gamoguy

The company Hatcams makes the hat with a universal mount built into the brim. This will allow you to mount any tripod compatible camera to it, like the Flip cameras. If you visit their website hatcams.com you can learn more about the system.

  • @skibum5722 Let me gues....the gun you have is a stoeger condor??? i own 1 in 20 gauge and i love it!

  • i might have to buy this set up, maby for christmas

  • @ktownrep0x0 its called bird shot. There llittle bbs that are in shot gun shells

  • that hat cam is sweet!

If you all are interested in hunting field reports, check out the Socially Networked Field Reporting Map at HuntersBlind . com

  • hey man how much do those hat cams cost?

  • @TheDogHunter22 - The Hats cost $29.95. The cameras range from 100 - 210, depending on the model. I'd suggest getting the new Kodak Playsport which retails for $150.00. A great all around camcorder to have.

  • ohh noo!

  • thought this was an ad at first but real hunters do miss I love this video saving it to my favorites thanks.

  • HATCAM.com the OFFICIAL Hat used by Dave Langston and the Western States Sportsman Outdoor Show crew! Watch all our episodes fishing and hunting using the HATCAM

  • is it legal to shoot hens there...the first one ya got was a hen...here in nebraska its not legal to shoot hen.

  • @prescher69 I hunt pheasants in Iowa and we have the same deal, lots of times in farms they let them shoot anything but this doesn't seem like a farm setting.

  • Cool hat cams. Thanks for sharing you hunting video!

  • how an earth did u missed the 1st shot omg i can't believe it i would have killed that pheasant with one hand tied behind my back hahahaha :P thumbs up guys great hunting

  • That is a kule way to capture your excursions...nice work.

A great hunt you guys had and a couple of beauty birds you harvested, congrats.

The hat cam is a good innovation and allows you to film while still having the abilty to move freely with both hands free...awesome!

    Thumbs up posting!

  • 4:14 beutifull rooster... yeah and now you killed it.

Looks like the dog was having great fun tough :)

  • nice ive never been pheasant hunting looks like fun

  • Im guessing this is a game farm and you can shoot anything there.

  • @mrfish1991 Maybe but it loos the same as my family farm that i hunt on. We release game birds every few years so we shoot whatever we feel like. We paid for them.

  • dude ik hens r illegal to shot!

  • that was a hen thats illigal

  • maybe where you live. this could be a preserve too. i jjust got back from a day of pheasant shootin' and we got 4 hens....

  • I like this video I am interested in this product. There is a little shakeyness but thats to be expected. Colors good distance good I thought I noticed some zoom in and out ?

  • looks like some good property wherever this was shot.

  • @jollybird66 Looks kinda like Kansas

  • Those black labs are damn good bird dogs.

  • if you hold your gun up to a lamp light it gives you better accuracy

  • it's young men like these who fought wars in past generations because we have the right to bear arms..God Bless America.

  • Were you just using Flip mino's or did you have another brand of recorder as well?

How heavy are those on your head? Did the push the bill down much?

  • We were using the Flip Mino and Kodak Zx1. The Kodak is a little bulkier. The Flip Mino you can't feel at all they are so light.

  • 1:21.......Ka-Plow!!!!

  • damn dude thats good shit....me and my dad only got one each and they were both does

  • Nice hat cams! I wonder if they make them waterproof. They would be great for kayak fishing.

  • They make a weatherproof camera you can see at hatcams com. There are also underwater camcorders that take video you could also mount to the hat.

  • can u attach it 2 ur gun?

  • The mount is manufactured into the brim of the hat. You'd only get a split second of the kill with the mount on a gun or bow. With the hatcam, you won't miss anything from start to finish. That's why it works so well.

  • 7 kill streak-dogs

  • hell yah

  • Call Of Hunting: Finest Hour. it really looks like a first person shooter haha cool

  • It's a hatcam. You can get them at hatcams com.

  • Attach the cam to your home defense gun & have video evidence of any potential self-defense shooting.

  • Good man!

  • You were way behind the first one.

  • better than dick cheney

  • nice shot on that bird

  • Are you all shooting hens only out there??..... Here in Ca you can only get a Rooster.

  • that almost looked dangerous at 1:21, might just look that way from the camera angle though.

  • Nice hunt
