Exactly! Everyone whining saying "your internet is too slow" what a crock of ****. ISP have perpetuated this lie because they want you to buy faster and faster internet. Remember when we could watch youtube on 512kbit connections, no problem? My internet is now 10mbit (20 times faster!), and basic videos buffer! I can download an entire music album in 45 seconds. But no, apparently it's MY internet. GROW A BRAIN PEOPLE.
I've noticed this thing goes on during the night times, from 6pm and on. I'd like to think it's my connection but since I see everyone complaining about this it can't be something as simple as that.
It is taking soooooooooooo long to download a Youtube vid. It is crazy. I don't understand why sometimes it is fine but lately it has been mostly really bad. I only run 480 cause it's impossible to get anything higher to download. I feel like I'm back with dial-up. Youtube, come on, get real !!!
yea netflix and youtube both suck now bc they stopped buffering films b4 they played them and now it takes 5 hours to watch a 30 show. so fuck both of them.

I got the same problem going on right now. The last time it happened to me, it took like two months before the videos would start buffering fast again. TWO MONTHS. I've tried everything, deleting my cookies, google chrome, speed bit video accelerator, you name it, nothing works. I don't know what to do.

Yeah, this seemed to start about a month ago (late July / early August 2011). Not sure either. Never had these issues previously. Have noticed the issue on both my own Internet connection (I own a small ISP) and also AT&T's DSL. Since I was having problems through my own ISP and know its not congestion related within our network, it has got to be YouTube or the content delivery network.
This video buffered eleven times while I tried to watch it, I have been having the same problem now for the past week, some days are better than others, but its getting to the point where I just log in and log out, rather than deal with the frustration, it ruins any video your watching, especially the music videos that I mostly watch.
don't know if its related, but AT&T started its "throttle back" policy on heavy data users on their iPhone data plans, the same time this problem started happening for me. Maybe they plan on throttling back on more than just their wireless network.
youtube has been going slow for about 3 weeks now, it is just a server issue that google refuses to fix. btw, i can't even watch this video right now, but know that it is not just you.
