I was just walking home and found two of these little guys in a parking lot. I thought maybe they were sick or injured or something because they let me get so close. Guess they were just so into each other they didn't notice, lol.
We came across a pair like this on Lake Michigan beach, we could not believe it. They were at it for at least 10 minutes before we needed to move them, so they would not drown in the water, then we started to lower them to the ground to the safer place, they flew off.

Those little nutjobs went on for an HOUR! I got jealous and nudged them with my foot to break them up lol. They just took off, angry at me.
Apparently these bats latch on to each other in mid flight and begin mating and fall from the sky. There has only be one visual account of Red Bats mating in the 1940's as I recall. As far as I know this is the first video ever captured of Red Bats Mating. They were very cute!
what the hell are they doing on his hands? I know they're mating, but aren't you worries about rabies? (rabies as in the disease, incase I accidentally wrote about the Jewish religious leaders.)

Apparently these bats latch on to each other in mid flight and begin mating and fall from the sky. There has only be one visual account of Red Bats mating in the 1940's as I recall. As far as I know this is the first video ever captured of Red Bats Mating. They were very cute!
