You should use the Bren the whole time, because the Sten is rubbish, it's a shame you only get to use the Bren in one level, because it owns on multiplayer.

What I did on this level was I just ran up and did melee attack on all the samurai sword guys whilst they're drawing their weapons, about 80% of my hits were with melee attacks.

maybe he uses the sten cuz it has a higher firing rate because hes not especially good at aiming
