Hi! I want to buy a laptop with an i3 or i5 proccesor and 6GB of RAM. Do you think intel HD Integrated Graphics is enough to support blu-ray 1080p video streaming to my full HD TV? or should I get a separate graphics card? Thank you.
@drunkenjudgement I guess Core i3 is 2 Cores but can handle 2 Threads per core. There are two kinds of i5: the duo and the Quad Core both handle 2 Threads and the i7 is only quad core handling also 2 Threads per core.
i have no idea what he was talking about, is i3 quadcore? some reviews say i3 an i5 are dual core, but a website where im looking at getting a pc built has the i3 as quadcore
@AmH032uTuBe i3 slightly better than core 2 duo!! are you retarded reviews have shown they are significantly faster than core 2 duo and core i5 destroys core 2 quad and core i3 is still better than core 2 quad
@simranjeet36 Well Intel claim 20% faster in the 1156 socket compared to the 775 Core series' equivalent.
Also, 20% is what they claim. Numbers from companies are always the peak and "up to" amount. 13-16% is more reasonable.
It depends which i5 you go for, to compare to C2Qs. Don't forget that the only well-known C2Qs are the 66-67 & the extremes. There are a large variety of i5s, which have slightly varying architecture and specifications. I've just covered it simply for people who don't know.
Well I've done tests myself and for the equivalent CPU [price/the replacement CPU per model] I've only had roughly the increases I stated. If anything, I've only got perhaps 12%.
I'll kindly give you the benefit of the doubt.
But anyhow, I was just giving a basic example for people who don't know much, I could be highly specific if I felt like it. Hope you understand that. No hating :D
WHAT IS THIS I DONT EVEN
This doesn;t make sense, why would you make your product lineup so difficult to understand?

Core 2 Duo - Core i3 equievelant (i3 is slightly better)
Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Quad Extreme (i5 is slightly better, C2Q/C2QE is better than i3 (IMO)).
Core i7, and i9 soon - just total annhialation!
Nice vid though.

@AmH032uTuBe no if u read reviews those claims are actually met 20% most cases even 30%! and that 13-16% not true at all its way more than that
