  • don't matter what god you talk about if its not Jesus Father our Father you are serving a false god Yall got that. You can't make it to the father unless you go throw the son and thats Jesus remember that when you here them talk about ther god its many of them but only one true one Jesus Father our Father.

  • Hip hop is wrong but christain rap isn't, there's a difference

  • @shelbygirl32294 I agree, since Hip Hop is a 'culture' that points people away from Christ Jesus! Christian rap I like, but the problem is that there are the REAL and the FALSE so called 'Christian rappers'. We need eyes to see which ones truly do live the Word and preach the Word and portray the Word in the way their songs and in their lifestyle. People are misled by many fake 'Christian' rappers, like those who profess Christianity but do NOT rep Christ in every single song they sing! Eyes2see

  • hip hop doesnt belong in church

  • @DjReggieRegg just as buddah and krisna and islam don't.

  • What is the choir saying in this video???

  • this is so unholy

  • If I go by what ur saying then I have to not trust the Word since we know the Hebrew people worshiped many gods b4 Yaweh revealed himself..scripture documents it even from exodus..men judge the outward God judges the heart and intention so watch their fruit and test the spirit..give me scripture to support ur position on this subject.

  • PRDirector1 if you can try to put the entire documentary on your page b/c just looking at the 1st few mins those that are for hip-hop w/n the church will try to justify why it's coming into the church. the rest of this documentary goes a lot farther and really exposes where hip hop and "holy hip hop" come from thanks

  • I'm kinda depressed crap like this is even still an issue. Would you rather people rap about guns and rims or glorifying God? And don't even get me started on the misinformation in this video...

  • Don't beat yourself over the head and fall into depression. I will just block you from this channel and you can move on with your life. Starting now! Good day!

  • @PRDirector1 : AMEN to that!!!

  • @PRDirector1 ..thanks. I dont think ppl understand it isn't so much of glorifying God..its a hidden agenda that has gone full force in being exposed..my goodness..see through the foolishness ppl-

  • @1981EMG if they're lost they can't see through it, most people I've seen in churches are LOST people, that's where the main problem is, LOST people will bring in this junk into the churches because you allowed LOST people as members in your churches. That's the problem.

  • G Craig was not saying tht rap can not be used 4 god this is a quoat 4rm his site "We know that a powerful message can be given through rap and we believe it can be very effective in teaching, strengthening and persuading people to Christ. But we cannot embrace the culture of Hip Hop along with the rap" he just said if ur going to do it 4 God then leave all the ungodly crap out of it. like sagging and throwing up signs and using music made by wordly people

  • that comment u put jus shows that ex ministris is WASTING their time. christian rappers clearly dont exalt the sinful things of hip hop. not once will u find a christian rapper cursing, drinking, smoking, dancing provacatively, etc. (aka sinning). if u listen, christian rappers rap AGAINST the sinful nature of hip hop. which is y it amazes me that christians r trying 2 go against something that is giving God ALL the glory. holy hip hop is takin ova whether u like it or not

  • @inbubblbley thank you for saying that...!!! i was going to say it but then i looked and found your comment. thumbs Up.!!!

  • the Problem w that ,is that "Traditional Gospel Music"..came from Blues..then the Winans came out and they sounded like the world...now rap.....if the words are pure then the music is pure....where do we draw the line?..cant listen to "Oh Happy day" cause the writer is gay?..........rap is poetry ,David was a poet.....copying the world is wrong, but rapping for Christ is not

  • @Goodlife51 I like that!

  • Somebody please answer this question: If the words accurately reflect God's timeless truth, what is th problem? You can find worldiness and bad doctrine in all forms of Christian music (and preaching), but we don't judge them as a group. How is Christian Rap different?

  • 98% of rap artist promote the spirit of pride, lust, greed all kinds of things that are against god's word.

  • MinisterAllen06, they can't answer the question. This attack against holy hip hop is something that was birth out of pain and frustration and anger. And when you mix the 3 spirits together, you get this kind of attack against something that is represents Christ to a generation of people who have never been inside of a church and want something they can relate to. Pray for the people that speak against holy hip hop.

  • Thank you for your misson of ridding the world of black hip hop threats, Minister Lewis. I really enjoyed your insight into Jay-Z and how he was trying to convince all of his young followers that he was Jehovah and would provide their salvation.

  • I'm wanna pose a question to you "HOLIER THAN THOU" YouTube Christians that judge everything that does not line up to your expectations in church... If Satan uses hip hop to kill souls, why can't God use it to save souls? Hit me back, please!!!

  • BECAUSE HIP HOP IS A RELIGION!!!

  • hip hop isnt a religion... its a sub culture.

  • because hip hop is a religion built upon religions beliefs that are NOT of Jesus Christ

  • because hip hop is a religion built upon religions beliefs that are NOT of Jesus Christ

  • Why would GOD use any form of worldly music to save souls? His word is enough, how have holy hip-hop save anyone? The holy hip-hop artis sample from the wordly artis and they talk about wordly things! Jesus said if any man loves the world then the of father is not in him!! Thats why holy hip-hop is a problem.

  • to be honest, God does not need music period......faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God! People actually think they are doing God a favor with Holy Hip Hop, but fail to realize that the Word is most important and will stand when Hip Hop is long gone.

  • craig explained that hip hop is a religion as outwardly admitted by some of the rappers themselves what communion does light have with dark, come out from among them, you cant nor would you think about using a muslim doctrine to draw men to christ the philosophy behind hip ho[ and the purpose that it is created is demonic demons cant save us jesus a;ready has

  • because the hip hop came out of the world and god doesn't need the worlds help. salvation comes from repenting of your sins through jesus death on the cross not music.

  • Looks like im gonna have to shut this whole argument down by stating, first of all Gospel is not a music art form, so stop rap and/or gospel like they are two different types of music. Gospel is the good news, the word of God, not a music form.

  • Sounds like a wrap, picklepigfeet, its over!!!

  • The truth hurts, and many of us in the body of Christ would rather live in denial and go to hell, than hear the truth of God so our souls might be saved. Living according to his commands and statues, that is repentence, holiness, separation and righteousness. Not reshaping our old worldly sinful selves, but becoming transformed, being new creations in him. Theres no sanctification of hip hop, its an anti christ religion in a music form. Like I said the truth hurts.

  • some of this most corrupt hypocrites, do not sing, holy hip hop they sing traditional Gospel music. and or the most corrpt hypocrites, make the inside of the cup clean then the whole cup will be clean,

i tell you there are many who sing beautifu country, style worship , Gospel, who are complete hypocrites!!! commuting adultery raciest, lusting and hating people,

  • Great video. I just received that one this month. GBU!

  • All Music is spiritual. What spirit comes out of music is what the person making the music projects. Music doesnt save people only Jesus Christ saves the lost soul. Gospel Rap music is nothing more than poetry over music. If you remove the music you have poetry. I don't agree with Gospel Rap being called Holy Hip Hop because Hip Hop is from the spirit of the world and Holiness is a major attribute of God. All music comes from the Spirit of God, spirit of man or either a spirit of a demon.

  • My husband was saved through listening and meditating alongside worship music. I listen to Gospel music, no matter how the beat is, as long as the Gospel of Christ is being preached. Stop being self righteous and let Jesus Christ be the judge of these people, look at the speck in your eye. By the way try listening to Canton Jones, and you will experience the power of Christ.

  • Amen

  • Please!

  • Preach on!

  • AMEN!!!

  • This is not being self righteous but telling the Truth about this tool of Satan. "Holy" hip hoppers are into promoting themselves and not Christ. Jesus said if "I" be lifted up in the world "I" will draw all men unto me. Not if 'you' be lifted up in the world but if He does. Hip Hop is a religion that calls themselves gods, how can this be called holy. You cannot take a tool of the world and try to put God's name on it, He won't have it. We are not to be common, we are to be holy: NOT common

  • Hallelujah and Amen! There is no grey area...

  • I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. We must go back to the root of these things. Canton Jones performs with artists like T.I., David Banner, and Ludacris. Look at his bio and you'll see and experience the power of Anti-Christ. God has given us strict orders to come out and be separate! Please look at the videos by G Craige Lewis with an open heart. No one is condemning or judging these guys, merely pointing out the delusion. Ask the Lord for discernment; He gives freely. It's not legalism...

  • Amen to that!

  • Amen sista

  • MokaMoka19, what I think happened to you is this...you got lost in your gift. You did not know how to properly handle the gift. You did what alot of people do when they get too caught up in the applause and admiration...you lost focus. You could have allowed Christ to get you back to where you needed to be. It wasn't going to be easy but it could have and still can be done. God can take anything He wants and win souls with it. Never underestimate God.

  • but here's the thing....did you know the devil was an musician when he use to be an angel? so the devil use alot of music to get people in the wrong path. so nobody cant tell me that hip hop is good specialy when when they putting it in the church. and why all you people thinking these rappers like God well your wrong. JAY-Z actually have two songs to prove it. #1 THAT SONG THAT HE CALLS HIMSELF JAHOVA #2 HE HAS ANOTHER SONG HEN YOU PLAY IT BACKWARDS HE SAYS "666...MURDER jESUS"

  • i beg you please tell me the name to your intro song

  • I attended a church in the UK where they would have street concerts to lure young folk to their main concert in the church. They would rap over worldly beats like busta ryhmes, Nas etc. It worked. I then began

  • to "minister" through rap and I became arogant and one-minded - I loved the attention and the focus for saving souls for Christ went out of the window. I have since left that church and the rappers still there peform on circular music channels - I don't know if they're rapping the Word or just being "positive" now. The focus is on them - the performer. Hip hop is a demonic culture period and has NO place in the church!

  • I'm interested in hearing more about those who have come out of Holy HIp Hip and their experiences. Thanks for sharing!

  • people need to come out of the world period. but Rap is still used as a tool just like anything else can be used. If we are to pick on rappers we need to do it with everything. I would rather the children listen to out of eden then beyonce, I would rather My kids listen to trip lee then kanye west. So God is using it wether you or G craige like it or not.

  • That is because Rap is nothing more then another tool but if your not called to do it you will not be able to fulfill the calling of it. I am called to do it and I walk talk and preach, and rap the word of God in my music. This is the point of rap.

  • I agree with you on this because I too was deep into the world of hip-hop, and even began to write and record "for the Lord." I saw 1st hand the errors of this movement. It definitely breeds worldly pride and rebellion. There are SOO many scriptures against mixing the holy with the profane! Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

    Isaiah 5:20

  • wow that's crazy.....

  • satan is using holy hip 2 destory da youth in the church i can't believe it. The holy hip-hoppers r 2 blind 2 see it.

  • Some people needa reason to exist. So lets talk about hiphop, in the name of Good, and Evil.

  • I do not pick sides with any argument between holy hip hop vs the church and heres why as we keep preaching against gospel hip hop and rock and things of that sort, we've fallen into an entertainment that is very dangerous..

this message illustrates gospel hip hop as the trojan horse, however, Satan is a bit more slick than this.. because the very entertainment of this battle has become the trojan horse, and while we preach against it, weve waisting the time we couldve used to save souls

  • The main problem with this whole issue is that we have to STOP CALLING IT HOLY HIP HOP!!!! Hip Hop can never be holy because in essence, it is a musical style that has NOTHING TO DO WIHT CHRIST!!! We need to start defining it as its truest essence, and that is Gospel rap. Because it is a form of communicating, meaning rap, and the lyrics are about the good news of Jesus Christ, meaning gospel...see?? Gospel Rap...simple enough

  • We don't call it "holy hip-hop". That's the label that Christian rappers use proudly to attract the world! You see, for these fellas to be ACCEPTED of the world, they need to act, look, talk, and try to rap like them. Why do you think these artists know MOST secular music better than they know the Bible!

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

    James 4:4

  • yo, this trojan horse campaign is hilarious!!!! i love the sound effects... very 1960's... lol

  • I wished every preacher was preaching like G.Craig.Lewis. The reason people hate his message is cause he's telling the truth. The truth ALWAYS gonna offend the lie. And people who believe in the lie are ALWAYS gonna be offended. KEEP PREACHING BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Who's truth? His own? Can you back him up through scripture?

  • I honestly see a separate thing when it comes to Hip-Hop. Hip Hop is a way of life just and so is Christianity. In fact true Worship is a lifestyle, so how can you live a lifestyle of true worship when it comes to serving our Lord Jesus Christ and at the same time live a lifestyle of Hip Hop? Rap is conveying a message to a beat, getting your point across through song, but Hip-Hop is more than music, its a religion, a culture, a lifestyle! Seek Jesus not Hip Hop.

  • Well said .. and I Agree

Hiphop is from the streets, but in the origin of hiphop it was very enocent well not as blunt as now (no pun entend.)

But just as satan used Rock and Roll in the 80s he uses Hiphop today! Funny how must rappers reject jesus but Accept Allah.

  • how is that funny, many blacks are muslim.....

  • Pastor Lewis on his website says that Hip Hop and rap are separate. This is a direct quote from his website under VISION "Don't misunderstand me, there is nothing wrong with bangin' beats and hype music, (we have plenty of it on our projects) as long as the message is in line with God and his word. But taking music and phrases that was once sinful and explicit music and adding it to God's music is not supported in the scripture." Pastor says to get rid of all of it.

  • scriptures scriptures scriptures scriptures scriptures scriptures where are your scriptures. Can you use the bible and tell me what is wrong with Christian Hiphop. if you cant find any scriptures then you are speaking garbage and not Gods word

  • Pornography is the heartbeat of many people today. Are we gonna create Holy Porn? I guess Kirk Franklin would be happy about that! That way he and tye tribbett can dance booty to booty like they did on TBN and more pastors will invite them. Shame!

  • Like our black people need more black negative images. A Holy Gangsta, Holy Thug, Holy Hoodlum, Preaching Pimp! Come on black folks. Stop being niggers. 2 earring wearing, saggin, grilled up, doo raggin, braided head bums are what our black boys have become. Free Prison Inmates! Can't take care of women, or get good jobs. Why promote this in church? DUMB! Wake up folks.

  • sisterlady, I'm sorry that brothers did you so dirty that you hate us now! 2. I'm from NY you could have gotten killed the same way in 1968 as you can in 2008 in brooklyn! 3. Holy hip hop is fake 4. i work hard everyday for my community! What you see today is the bastardization of my culture(hip hop) by corporations 4 money! is there any money in the church? NO, of course not! money is the root of all evil..... right?

  • theres nothing wrong with holy hip hop.

they have christian rock and no one says anything. if you think that hip hop and gospel shouldn't mix maybe thats because your aspects on hip hop aren't the best. and if you think that you shouldn't be listenin to it. its spreadin God's word through a beat that the youth in this generation WILL find interest in

  • just ask yourselves some questions:

    1) do you care about Missions

    2) if you do and you go to a people group in let's say India would you tell them to shed everything about their culture?

    3) why not? see we all understand that there are amoral things in life that are neither bad nor good. wearing a bald head as a hair style is that bad, if you're a skinhead yes, if you're craig lewis no. we must be careful to not do what the early missionaries did to the Native Americans. look like us!

  • Ask yourself, is HIp Hop a culture? NO. It's a subculture. Just a bunch of stupid niggaz wanting attention. Can't work real jobs or be real men. Have to be momma's boys and hide behind beats. Foolish niggaz. And now church going foolish no working niggaz. Lazy negroes that can't be real men. This is not a culture but a group of sorry negroes that can't be real men. Getting mad cause a prophet has exposed their hidden agenda. Get the video!

  • i just love what your saying sisterlady1

  • its a shame that we STEREOTYPE all people who like hiphop to be deadbeat "niggaz". I believe that is our problem. We have gotten away from the word of God, and went on pointless Witch Hunt.

  • what is a REAL job??? Can u account for every "hip hopper" being a foolish and lazy negro that craves attention i dont think u can

  • what is evil about hip-hop (the culture)?

  • go into an all black "hip hop" influenced neighborhood after dark and walk around for a while. If you are still alive afterwards, you will see what is evil about it.

  • if rap didnt exist it would probably still be the same

  • This vidoe rite hear speaks the truth. I totally agree with exministries, its insane, stupid, diranged... Ppl have jus lost their sight and mind in God...

  • I ordered this documentary and it floored me.

  • did you order the bundle pack or just the Trojan horse single

  • Interesting concepts.

From our perspective: what the church today calls "traditional gospel" music, was actually shunned by the church because it was considered too "worldly". aka as played in the the jook joints (nightclubs) and was influenced by blues, jazz & ragtime of the era.

Today...Hip Hop is the heartbeat of youth culture...we must NEVER water down or comprimise the Gospel, but it does need to be wrapped in relavance. We are not a society of farmers and herders as in Jesus'

  • I'm neither in favor of or against "holy hip hop" Nonetheless...the Gospel doesn't need to be "wrapped" in anything.

1 Cor 1:17 "For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power."

John 14:6 "Jesus answered, "I am the way & the truth & the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

    -take care

  • To:FaithandReasons, I totally agree. Jesus in the Apostles never use music as a tool to reach the lost souls. Now music is good but Jesus is the only one who saves us not "MUSIC". The Christians really don't know how music can be use through Satan. He was a musician & God never took away his ability to make music. Right On Faithandreasons!

  • My question to you is this? Where in the Bible does it even MENTION such a thing as a music ministry? And worse than that borrowing music from a demonic culture and using it to "reach souls?"

"For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the FOOLISHNESS of PREACHING to save them that believe." (1st Corinthians 1:21)
