No I disagree. The unit is fairly impressive for what it is. I have used many 3rd world gadgets and to say the least this is fairly impressive, fast and easy to pick up and use. I have only heard of the unit bricking because of users that try to install add'l firmware and don't know what they are doing, but THE FIRMWARE IS EASILY RESETTABLE and AVAILABLE!

It's all good. I have seen the copycat versions of the item and the trials for this unit pass my tests. The cool thing is that this unit has some development support out there, which is something that I can't say for alot of stuff that comes out of China!

That looks like a really cool device. I used to play roms on my PSP but went back to official firmware because I wanted to play the newer PSP games. Would the Dingoo be good if I already own a PSP? To me, doing all that emu/rom stuff on the PSP is very confusing. Is the Dingoo easier to use in that respect? Or is it the same thing.

No, it's much easier to use the Dingoo. It basically was made for that!

I have been very happy with my Dingoo handheld. Many people crap on it about it being cheap chinese crap but I think for the price and what it does it is an amazing deal. As long as you do not drop it or put in your pocket with your keys then it's fine. Amazing for what it does and is capable of you cannot beat the price.
