  • Why is the hole dug so deep, by so many and for so long called "The Money Pit"?

Not a dime has ever been found from all the work done so far.

Do people surmise that money MUST be buried there?

Is it impossbiel for people to imagine that this thing is nothing more than a self-perpetuating hoax?

People dig a while, leave and then sneek back in to bury the next layer or rock or logs?

    Come on people...

  • @drakethick1 They call it the money pit because so many people have sunk money into it, trying to get to whatever is down there. The trouble with digging into the pit is that it keeps filling with ocean water. No one is willing to spend the multi-million dollars worth of work and engineering to seal the ducts to stop the water. The big reason for this is that no one is certain what if anything is down there worth millions.

  • @nanabijou62 I'm familiar with the history. Thanks.

Still, not a dime has been found, so it make no sens to refer to this hole as money pit.

Certainly, it is a money pit for no other reason than all the money and effort that has been wasted so far on digging down into this hole. Something like a house.

  • @drakethick1 Exactly. That's why they call it the Money Pit. Pure irony.

  • @nanabijou62 Well something valuable to somebody is down there. Nice reply to that comment though. A lot of peeps just hear money pit and assume money is down there haha. Not saying that's stupid or anything cause that's a conclusion one could come to. But the story behind this is just unreal. For humans to build something so COMPLEX is just amazing to me. I love stories and mysteries like this.

  • @Scarecrowman27 Well, if you like mysteries, check out the story of Coral Castle in Homestead, Florida, and a man named Edward Leedskalnin. That one is a head-scratcher.

  • @nanabijou62 Supposedly the cipher stone they found was deciphered to say two million pounds are fourty feet under here. edward leedskalnin.. love that guy

  • @DrLsw i feel stupid now.. i didnt finish the video when i posted that comment. sorry

  • Only just heard about this on Ancient Aliens sounds a really interesting mystery.

  • Maybe there is another stone tablet down at the bottom that says something like the treasure is in a oak tree right near the hole and laugh at the lives, time and money spent to get to the tablet.

  • I've always been so interested in Oak Island because my family has found through history records that my ancestors were involved with the island with land property..we're not exactly sure how but I'd like to find out. This is such an amazing story..I have so many books on it and watched the documentaries. I don't think there's enough yet to quench my interest! Guess why they call it "the Oak Island Obsession".

  • @JessRoar oh bullshit. Hit "view all comments" and read all the fucking nutjobs who claim to have some family ties to this island. Get real man. You just wanna be part of something mysterious, but in reality you are probably just part of some guild on WoW. Now shut the fuck up.

  • @izotoppuIsGay5 How about you actually read my comment instead of taking a shit in your pants and trolling up a storm. I said that records were found but i'm not exactly sure. For all I know it could have absolutely nothing to do with the treasure.. much other stuff is happening on the island as well. I know because I've been there several times and they literally explain everything on the tours. I just love the island and the stories. And for your information I'm a girl and WoW is a shit game.

  • this is the spot WHERE DESMOND NEEDS TO GO!

  • Hey Pez712, no need for that kind of fucking language. Yes, the biggest fucking questions are who and why and not what. Where might be a good question, but we'll have to see what fucking happens.

  • Maybe there is no treasure but two questions still fucking remain. Who built it? And why?

  • @sabinetch you are a fucking queef. Stop talkin before your comments are removed.

  • Oak island was designed to be exactly what they say it was ,a giant death trap for the workers who buried the treasure. To dispose of them to keep the secret among a few!

  • Terry Sabine has found the real treasure island check it out on you tube!

  • @sabinetch Terry sabine also found love in another mans asshole i heard. Gay as fuck and lies to the media for attention. Why dont you get off his dick. You talk about this guy so much like he's tuggin your dick while typing each comment.

  • @izotoppuIsGay5 Arguing with you would be pointless my friend,it would be like running a race in the special olympics,no matter if you won or lost, you would still be mentally challenged!

  • @BRITLEGEND77 Or, there may have never been anything there to begin with! The entire pit might be a decoy, with the actual valuables hidden in a different location on the island - the money pit serving only to consume someone's attention had they happened on to the island. Someone sees the pit and says "Ah! There's treasure here!" and devotes their entire attention to trying to unearth it - ignoring the rest of the island where they might stumble upon a sign of something being buried or hidden.

  • @BRITLEGEND77 So, it's just speculation, but it's reasonable to think that the treasure could have been originally hidden above the top-most flood trap - with the underlying traps there to serve only as a decoy - to lure a potential discoverer into digging straight down past the treasure - eventually, not finding anything, and dogged by the set-backs of the regular traps - eventually giving up and leaving, or being killed, or whatever - with your treasure still hidden and intact.

  • @BRITLEGEND77 Of course, one "trick" that has been seen to be employed on similar old-world projects, is to dig a pit, construct a simple trap or two, then dig a hidden side-tunnel to house your valuables. But, below that, keep digging straight down - building more and more traps as you go at intervals. Someone finding and attempting to excavate your pit will follow the traps straight down past your actual valuables - assuming the traps are there to protect the valuables hidden below.

  • @BRITLEGEND77 They designed the pit. And, whomever "they" were, they were obviously highly skilled engineers. Thus, it's more than reasonable to assume they would have engineered a method for retrieving what it was they were trying to protect with relative ease. With your "treasure" then retrieved via the method you've designed, why then go to the trouble of dismantling the entire project? Why expend the time and energy? Just take you valuables and go.

  • @BRITLEGEND77 Nah, the sink-hole theory is fairly ridiculous, in my opinion. Not absolutely impossible, but pretty close to it. All available evidence points to the pit as being a man-made structure. There's no compelling reason to think otherwise. If it were just a sink-hole, it would mean a massive collusion over a very long time, involving many multiple parties had taken place - and nobody can provide a convincing argument as to how or why such collusion could or would happen.

  • @BRITLEGEND77 Sure. I'm not ruling anything out, of course - and I can't be certain of anything. But, that's my own personal suspicion. All of the evidence I've seen seems to me to point in that direction as currently being the most likely scenario.

  • @BRITLEGEND77 If you ask me, there's nothing down there at all. The pit was likely built by British Royal Engineers for the purpose of hiding and protecting a large store of gold to be used in the war against the Americans. The gold was, at some point, either withdrawn and spent in the war effort, or returned to England at the end of the war. The British military then simply abandoned the empty pit. It was later found accidentally, and assumed by its discoverers to still be hiding treasure.

  • is that hole revaled is it on the island, can u see it ???

  • @uranorexic Faggot!!

  • Entilza... Really..? Really? I'll bet you say that about all the treasure stories. Don't like it why comment..? Your just trying to piss peaple off for fun good job.

  • that is where god took the first dump which became human kind

  • is it aliens?

  • I love this story, intrigued me since I was a kid. I think the only way is to make a coffer dam around the whole island then start digging.

  • what the fuck is down there!!!!!!?????

  • that's where chuck norris lives

  • I can imagine what would it be to get to the buttom and read a note saying, you are digging in the wrong holecheck next one.

  • I guess they have to somehow get divers downt ehre to plug those holes, the water is the biggest problem. this is about as strange as that stone I heard about a while back that no one can decipher. i can't remember the name of it but tree roots grew around it and they say that perhaps the templar knights may have created it. I say keep on diggin, we gotta know whats down there, it's quite impressive thus far

  • @wheelmanstan I have also heard of this story of the Gnostic writings on stones somewhere in Westford, Massachusetts, and other sites in the US Northeast and Midwest. It sounds very possible that the Templars may have visited North America sooner than some people have thought.

  • @nanabijou62 I heard the stone 'disappeared' in 1919, is that correct?

and the tunnels to the sea, are they still there, or have they 'disappeared' as well?

  • @Lowie7de What I had heard was that the stone was last seen mounted above someone's fireplace in their home at the turn of the century. It hasn't been seen or heard of since. The aquaducts leading to the ocean have been destroyed from excavations. It was said that they had been filled with coconut fibers as well.

  • @nanabijou62 How can all five tunnels have been destroyed? The tunnels were very long (or am I mistaken?), so there has to be something left, no?

  • @nanabijou62 I heard a very interesting theory lately. That the stone itself was the only thing buried in the oak island money pit. And that the true meaning to the translation on the stone etchings is directions to the real treasure on neighboring "Birch Island". For more info Google (Keith Ranville's New Theory on the Oak Island Money Pit)

  • @Lowie7de When the "stone" disappeared (if it ever existed to begin with, which is doubtful) is subject to debate. I've heard 1905, 1912, etc.

The tunnels don't exist. Lots of people have claimed they "must" exist...but back in the 1860s engineers boring test holes on the island hit a layer of natural gravel at around 140'. This is actually where the water comes from. But because the treasure hunters were frauds, they never published the guy's report or admitted anything.

  • @wheelmanstan Most of what's been written about Oak Island is totally wrong. The story recounted in this video is a fantasy that was made up over decades by treasure hunters and really poor authors. The people who make "documentaries" about this site make up piles of nonsense to sell it to the clueless.

  • @EntilZa1 I would like to know legit information about The Money Pit. If you can guide me to that, I would be thankful.

  • @netiaz YouTube won't let anyone post links, but go to "oakislandtheories" dot com extension and also to "criticalenquiry" dot org. The first provides a lot of research into all the lies that have been told about the site over the years. The other (you have to register for it) is a place where a guy in Canada is posting all sorts of original material from the 1700s-1800s. He's found a lot of evidence showing it's a phony.

  • @wheelmanstan I agree, I hear the arc of the covenant was buried down there.

  • It would be funny if they discover whats at the bottom and its a big screen that starts playing a music video..............NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP, NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN lmao or its the Gateway to Hell who fucking knows

  • The Ark of the Covenant, an ancient extraterrestial nuclear fusion reactor is probably deep down there, God (some alien being) probably told the people there to bury it nearly a thousand years ago.

  • omg! i love how the bald guy at 2:25 talks. He sounds like he could be a story teller for folklore. :D

  • its the gates of hell down there

  • for the record, i don't care if anything is down there, it's just seeing such a lack of ambition or imagination and then trying to insult other people because they have what you lack....it's like you can't get closure on anything that doesn't involve your small, and pathetic, life. you're the kind of person that never amounts to more than....stupid youtube comments and bong tokes.

i take back that last part, if you smoked weed you wouldn't be such an unimaginative faggot, maybe

  • i gotta be super careful about what i comment. Apparently nanabijou62 is being super touchy-i mean sensitive-about all the smart ass comments.

I'm pretty sure there's something great inside that will be of great importance in today's world where all this money going into 'years of research' can be spent on feeding people. but yeah who would wanna do that when you can dig a hole?

    (that was sarcasm)

  • @MEGAoneARMEDbandit he isn't being touchy, maybe he's just tired of morons that make stupid fucking statements that don't make any sense. so you want TREASURE HUNTERS to instead go and feed kids in Africa? what right do you have to tell anyone how to live or what to do, i see you make lady gaga lyrics videos and use shitty internet memes, bravo, you are clearly an expert in the field of "being a useless fucking moron".

    (that was not sarcasm)

  • so are there any news?

  • they believe they buried billions of dollars in it

  • but will all the technology we have,an it be possible to dig through it?

  • the hopes and dreams of orphan children is at the bottom

  • The Ark of the Covenant

  • Its funny to read all these speculations now that we know what is really down there. Interesting so many people were into this; tonight was the first time I ever heard about it when I saw the discovery on the news. Crazy!

  • @salamon1080 what is down there? I haven't heard.

  • @salamon1080 What's down there? When did they find it?

  • Absloutely Fucking Ridiculous.

  • @cullyvan Wow! What an insightful, informed opinion. Is this based on years of research or did a large farting noise just escape from between your ears? Thank you for taking the time to post such an intelligent, thought provoking statement. (that was sarcasm)

  • @nanabijou62

How about my opinion? I just don't understand why anybody would go through the trouble to bury a treasure so securely that even the owner himself wouldn't be able to dig it back up. I could, perhaps, understand burying a grave of a famous person in such a manner, so that it never gets disturbed. However, I've never seen anybody offer that theory about Oak Island.

  • @logik316 I'm with you. I think that what ever is down there was not meant to be retrieved. Layers of oak logs every 10 feet, slabs of stone, metalic chain-link material being pulled up, coconut fibre. Whatever is down there is not local, but was of very great importance to whoever buried it with such extreme labour. Just think of how much effort went into constructing this tomb! Imagine cutting down numerous oak trees (not a very easy task at the best of times). Sounds like a tomb to me.

  • @logik316 guess you didnt watch part 3

  • @logik316 In 'part 3' they say it might be a tomb....

  • @cullyvan you are ridiculous my friend.

  • @bf42gamer yeah, the easter bunny put it there

  • nothing there, natural sinkhole that some man made items had fallen into. The man made items found after were mostly from previous excavation attempts. Nothing here folks, move on

  • they found a supermarket trolley, its very interesting story,

  • the arc of covenant is in there......the god himself is an alien

  • I though that this was going to be an interesting scientific documentary. But, lo and behold, only 2 minutes in and there's talk of curses and all the nonsensical mumbo-jumbo that goes with it . As for the translation of the squiggles - mine is "Mary had a little lamb...."

  • I though that this was going to be an interesting scientific documentary. But, lo and behold, only 2 minutes in and there's talk of curses and all the nonsensical mumbo-jumbo that goes with it

  • I though that this was going to be an interesting scientific documentary. But, lo and behold, only 2 minutes in and there's talk of curses and all the nonsensical mumbo-jumbo that goes with it

  • They should rename the "money pit" after my ex-wife.

  • @IP0Monsturd Thats funny shit right there lol

  • One Piece is down there.

  • Jimmy Hoffa is at the bottom.

If it is an island, and the deeper they dig the more water comes in, how did they dig the hole in the first place? Even without the tunnels to let water in, the hole would fill wtih water.

  • I have just completed a documentary on this and we found the diaries of the man that made it. We know who he was working for and think we know what is down there.

  • Nothing at the bottom....nope

pirates did it for the lulz

  • @killallianceftw Interesting. Seems like a ridiculous amount of work for "the lulz". I guess they had nothing better to do on a Sunday afternoon than to dig a 200 foot hole straight down, then dig some ducts to the ocean and stuff them with coconut husks as well as cut down oak trees into logs and place them in the hole every 10 feet. Makes a lot of sense to get some shits and giggles.

  • @nanabijou62 no shit :P

  • @nanabijou62 It was a joke, laugh or don't, no point in analyzing it. I believe it was ALIENS! :P

  • @nanabijou62 For the lulz seems extremely unlikely, but I could see it as being a distraction. Elaborate, but empty, hole here... and the treasure is elsewhere. This hole gets all the attention while the real stash is perfectly safe for the use of whoever set this all up.

  • @nanabijou62 He was kidding jeez...

  • @nanabijou62

dont under estimate those troll pirates, lulz.

    Trollolololol

  • @nanabijou62 Dude, stop being so aggressive to anybody who does not share your opinion. There are theories that the logs got there as a result of natural cave-ins.

  • @MsPandaNut I agree. Dudes a Nazi. Still a great documentary.

  • @killallianceftw When Chuck Norris stepped on that island he dug that hole

  • It was the Templars, Henry Sinclair.

  • im curious as too how these ppl could build such thing.. but i highly doubt it was underground but if it was, then that is amazing strange structure lol.. if i were to hide something i would pick a secluded island like that but not in an area where there could be life.. u know?

  • If it is the ark of the covenant then it would prove that christianity is true but the "angels" were aliens and is all missunderstood. Then the story is over thats why this is so important this is simply the biggest treasure in human history

  • @kadafi422 I see you quoted Giorgio Tsoukalos, isn't he awesome?

  • They have detected radiation that is impossible down there and the hole is atleast on 3 diffrent sides along to the main hole/pipe, this hole is atleast 200 feet and in every 10 feet there is locks they have to dig out or take away to continue. Just when they seem to progress the hole gets filled with water, its the most advanced and safest, safe/treasure in history of time, safest vault in the history they think its "the ark of the covenant" because the radiation, if so then its technology

  • @kadafi422 finally someone with magnificent knowledge! i take it you are a fan of ancient aliens as i am! :)

  • @cristinutam mehh...

Dont sound like you just watch the show and live by what they tell you.

Consider yourself a ancient astronaut theorist.

    As I am.

I believe man wasnt capable of building something like this at that time.

  • 4:24 Wow, that guy is a hell of an actor. I wonder if he was classically trained?

  • Me and my best friend said that we are going to find together.. But the worse part is that we're going to die together :(

  • I removed my comments because I'm tired of idiots sending me the same message over and over!

I never claimed the money pit was a fraud, I simply asked genuine questions. Unfortunately, morons seem to take it upon themselves to insult anyone who disagrees with them or their line of thought.

And let it be said, not one of you added anything to the conversation, all you did was repeat what was already said in the video, like you were trying to make a point but couldn't think for yourself.

  • @heretic98

looks like somebody is getting defensive, as far as im concerned your a hypocrite and a douche

  • @heretic98

i think you removed your message so you could backtrack your comments like the weasel douche you are

  • @postmasterw00t LOL, you're really immature for a 24 year old. If you had a dictionary, you could look up the word debate, and then one day when you grow up and can act like a mature adult, we could have a normal discussion. You're level of intellect is minor, I can tell that by your pathetic attempts at insulting me.

I didn't want to get into a school girl fight over the idea, only express criticism, buts its evident to me that isn't going to happen, at least not with myopic people like you.

  • @postmasterw00t Also I'd like to let you know I blocked you so you don't waste any more of your time insulting me, I won't read it. Besides, I think we can both agree we're spamming this videos comments with needless here say.

And despite your flagrant hate for me, I do wish you a good day. I'm glad you stand for what you believe in, I just hope you're able to do it one day without being so aggressive.

  • @heretic98

    what an immature douche

  • anyone saying this is a sinkhole is a closed minded douche who cant accept anything remotely abnormal and are so ingrained in 'normal' reality that they cant accept any 'strange' occurrence even when solid evidence is provided. you people are fucking losers you claim to be rational and scientific then ignore clear evidence and come up with intricate and random theories just to try and discount the evidence with no intention of being open to the possibilities, you are hypocrites

  • that not a sink hole because stuff was down there and water fills it wen they dig far into it

  • I don't leave it out of the realm of possibility that there could be a nuclear reactor at the bottom, proving the existence of an alien race.

  • it would be cool if thier is something buried there im not saying i dont believe im only saying alot of it dont make sense. why someone would go to that much trouble to bury something when they could of just buried it a few feet down and came back later to get it. even if they did bury it that deep why leave oaktrees at every ten feet? did the creators get a measuring tape out at every ten feet? why not every 20 or 30 feet.

  • also why would i wanna put a stone saying keep digging for treasure after so many feet. that just sounds like a stupid idea. if the stone is real the only reason id wanna leave that stone would be as a decoy away from the real burial site. but the fact they buried it so deep doesnt make sense because how would they know someone would someday dig in that exact spot. doesnt make sense.

  • what would be the point of putting oak trees at every ten feet. lets say i wanted to bury something that i neve wanted found. first why would i wanna put oak trees at every ten feet? second why would i wanna bury it that deep? third if it was pirates im sure that job took alot of workers and being pirates and thier lifestyle that none of them snuck back later to get it or talk about it. unless they were really loyal to thier leader.

  • @butch356 interesting theory.

  • Because of the way the traps were built so elaborately, It would seem that whatever is buried there is not treasure as most think but instead it is something that they wanted to make certain never got out again.

  • @butch356 Now THAT is a scary thought, but I have to agree.

If this was created by people (rather than being a natural occurance) then they did a hell of a job. I mean, burying "treasure" hundreds of feet below the ground, with traps in the friggin place and everything. I mean, how would they even get it out again themselves?

  • Comment removed

  • @heretic98 A sink holle is the simplest answer if you discard all of the evidence. Exibit A: Aquaducts constructed to let ocean water in at the 90 foot level. Exibit B: Coconut fibre found at 40 something degrees north latitude. Exibit C: Oak timbers layed out at every 10 foot level. If it is indeed a sink hole. It would be the most amazing sink hole ever discovered. Almost like it was created by intelligent design.

  • @heretic98 From one of the test drill holes, they managed to pull up a bit of metal that appeared to be similar to chain link armour. As well, a small piece of lambskin parchment with traces of mercury in it.

  • @nanabijou62 werent wooden platforms found every ten foot down found also ?

  • @heretic98 a sinkhole with wooden floors every 10 feet?

  • Comment removed

  • @heretic98 You obviously havent done very much research on this subject because man made encasements have been found every so many feet down. It was crafted so that if you didnt know how to enter an underground spring would fill it in

  • Comment removed

  • @heretic98

but there are logs placed by man and it keeps going down, so even if it is natural human influence has occured there and either people had time on their hands or soemthing of importance is burried

  • @heretic98 My understanding is that there were bushels of coconut fibre pulled out of the aquaducts. Oak trees are not native to the island. As of today, only one remains and they are not regenerating naturally after hundreds of years, hinting that they were planted there. It is also the only island of many in the area that has an oak tree on it.

  • @heretic98 My family is from nova Scotia. Some of the oldest there that arrived from Scotland. they have much ore inside knowledge about the pit from what is commercially released. I was repeating what i heard .....from them . There were man made symetrical layers of wood found at regular intervals!!!! Not trees that fell in. they were man cut and joined timber incremental framework. Dont comment so quickly without any idea of whom you are speaking to. Research. ignorant uneducated comments wow

  • @tomlacovara What is ignorant or uneducated about my comments? Simply because I question the authenticity of these claims, that makes me ignorant or uneducated? You're the one jumping to judgement, which leaves me with little faith in what you say. . .

  • @heretic98

you are not just questioning the authenticity though are you? you are saying there is no chance that it could be anything but natural, because you are a closed minded douche, you have to be open to either possibility and the evidence points strongly to it being man made and most RATIONAL, CRITICAL people go with the side which has the strongest evidence

  • @heretic98

wow, could be any more closed minded? how do explain the logs placed at 10 foot intervals? what a douche, people like you are the reason the world sucks right now, overly rational to the point where its irrational

  • @postmasterw00t I'm close minded? How about opening your eyes to critical thinking? You're the one with the problem, not me? I simply challenge your line of thought and you attack me - that makes you the douche bag, not me ;o).

  • @heretic98

you dont get it do you? you are NOT thinking critically, you are looking at the abundance of evidence and then saying "i still wont believe it it has to be something else", it might well be, but the evidence suggests something strange on oak island and i think its more rational to go with the abundance of evidence on the subject, in my opinion you are just being irrational because your mind hates to accept anything remotely out of the ordinary, your also clearly a douche regardless

  • Im watching this on History channel and all i can say is WOW.. Thats crazy!!

  • fuck man even our technology today cant even dig all the way to the bottom....thats embarrassing....

  • @LakerChamppss

dan blankenship wants to keep the mystery going so the price of his land can stay high. he knows theres nothing there

  • @jamesjames900 It doesn't matter what the price of the island is if he never sells it.

  • The best way to bury and or hide a ''treasure'' is to create a place where people will suspect and expect it to be , all the while its 10 feet down in the center of the island in a taped up shoebox. Clever bastards!!! hehe : )

  • it'd be funny if they finally got to the bottom and nothing was there

  • The 'Revelatorium' has an interesting take:

At the end of the thirteen hundreds, a fleet under Italian sail and Scottish and British command carried the last five hundred remaining uncorrupted Templars and their families to the shores of what is now the province of Nova Scotia in Canada.

  • @GhostofCliffGullett Who knows? It could very well be something as strange as that. The history that we learned in school is at many times proven false. Christopher Columbus "discovered" America in 1492, but it is now said that we was working from charts. where did the charts come from? We know that the Vikings were here before Columbus and perhaps even Irish monks. The mystery deepens.

  • @nanabijou62 He discovered America for HIS people. Not the world, two different things. I didn't pay attention in history class, and for good reason. It's warped and twisted to fit their wants. Same with this "jesus was real" crap.

  • @Cypher1A Jesus was real...oh and your retarded for not following history. Your correct that textbook publishers twist history around to make our own image seem better however history is more important then anything. It repeats itself quite often actually and the only way to overcome that cycle is too learn from the past.

  • @nanabijou62 I saw a whole bit on the History Channel about how Columbus was associated with some people who were Free Masons, who in return were somehow associated with the Templars. That was about a year ago that I saw that though, so I forget the details.

  • @nanabijou62 Have you watched Holy Grail in America?

  • im not sure what to belive but the history channel ancient aliens makes some intresting points.

  • @igotthatsnowmayn Radiation has been measured there and is not normal. The guys who propossed it was a joke? why would you dug a pit and go to all the trouble of putting oak every ten feet? the coconut fibers? the coptic stone inscription? the stone comes from Egypt ?, there's have to be something in there to have all these elements The "Templars" knew a lot of things that's why they were persecuted, remember the masons are the latest version of them (crusaders-Templars-Masons) secrets !!

  • @kiketve2 Exactly what i think, The masons were the probably the most legendary craftsmen the world has ever seen, and their penchant for elaborate and secretive designs reeks here. In short, if anyone was capable of this it would be the masons. Not to mention its thought that the templars came to nova scotia so it would make alot of sense.

  • everyone fucked this tunnel by digging into it. if i stored treasure i would have made a way to get to it EASILY. or the treasure could have been "evil" so the creators sealed it away for all eternity...either way noone should have dug this tunnel without searching the whole island..

  • search "oak island money pit ancient aliens" on YouTube for the history channel clip, it runs a little over 8 minutes long. So badass.

  • this reminds me of the movie 2001 a space odyssey where man finds a tablet erected on the moon over 4 million years ago sending a signal to jupiter.

  • That will collaspe all the religions and make everyone loose faith in god and thats why it was buried in the first place.

  • Why don't they just plug the side cannals to keep the water from getting in and dig further? I saw on the History Channel that the Arc of the Covenant is down there and in the Arc is an extraterrestial substance that when opened will kill everyone near it with cancer tumors all over their bodies because of the radiation but whats really startleling is that it was never supposed to be discovered because it will show us what and where the origins of humans really are from.

  • @SmokingJoePot : That was simply speculation, not fact. Take another toke, Joe.

  • @pcollenYT lol, haha. Well, they took samples and readings of something either futuristic or of old origins down there. I know it seems alittle far fetched but someone went to great lengths to bury something down there. So there must be something of great importance.

  • If it is just a sink hole why are there layers of oak logs placed at intervals all the way down? I don't know if anything is down there, but I do know it isn't just a random sinkhole.

  • why do we always think its full of some kind of treasure or something good-wonder if its something they hid away from us to keep us safe-like some kinda virus sealed away (something that could destroy the human race) maybe its not meant to be dug up

  • whoever says nothing is down there doesn't lik to apply they're brain, obviously something unbelievable is down there, no one buries anything that deep, so far were at 200ft whose to say it doesn't go on to 1,000 or 3,000... to me the pit doesn't seem human ..

  • @wetdream09 As inconceivable as it sounds, the ocean areas to the South are showing extensive human habitat indicators. How ancient and long ago could it have been, in ocean depths of 2000 meters or more, for roads and high-ways to be built?

20,000 to 60,000 years ago? Who knows. the net result is that the "hole in the ground" was a burial MOUNTAIN at one time, rising UP from the shelf floor.

  • ANYONE interested in this VIDEO Should look up how the KNights Templar are related to it including the holy grail and the ark of the convenant very interesting

  • Yes I agree......WATCH ANCIENT ALIENS part 4. It has a updated piece about oak island.

  • @bornblueNY could you please give me a link, cuz i watched one ancient aliens part 4 and i am not sure it is the right one =)

  • 1. There are extensive human habitat indicators on the coast shelf, and even portions of the floor of the Atlantic, and generally published about in the National Geographic, 2001 or so.

    2. There are several what I call, King profiles in the stone walls of Oak Island indicating it was an ancient burial ground.

There is extensive evidence of tunnelling in the area, and I believe the shafts were the leftovers of grave robbers, seeking out ancient gold and valuables.
