Never again... my wife and I rode this thing when we were in school at Ohio State - about 1975. We got almost to the top when a little girl ahead of us in the first car screamed - she flipped up the lap bar and it stuck in the upright position. We lifted ours up in the second car and it locked upright, too. Then everyone was screaming and all the bars were locked up - the operator down below saw us absolutely at the top of the climb and stopped it. A guy climbed up the catwalk to fix it...

my grandpa used to work here. he greased the Blue Streak, but apparently did too much, because when he went to test it, it wouldn't stop. he was riding around and around for 3 hours before it stopped XD i loved this ride!(i hope Grandpa did, too O.O)

I went on this yesterday and now have a big bruise on my arm. My friend thought something fell out of his pocket so we were trying to find it instead of holding on LOL This thing is very bumpy and the restraints do not hold you in the seat so you get thrown around a lot.

blue streak may seem like a nice family ride but their was so much airtime that it was a pretty scary ride. i was standing up from all the airtime like half the time. The restraints are not tight at all.

I went to Cedarpoint for the first time last weekend. I normally frequent the Six Flags that's about 35 minutes from my house. Blue Streak is probably the smoothest wooden rollercoaster there, yet it is also ironically the oldest. I remember the newest wooden coaster, the Mean Streak built in 1991, gave me such a headache when I went on it, and I won't ride it again. I loved it's parent (Blue Streak) however.
