  • Great playing man! Sounded like tuning was a bit off though, maybe it was just the intonation. Either way, not a bad cover!

  • Absolutely amazing cover. I actually found myself head banging to this

  • @wscsox04

Thank you. Please check out my channel and my other thirty something mostly Metallica covers!

  • Hollysht....nice job

  • Beautiful cover!

  • This guitar is now up for auction on Ebay!

  • @DrSlackBladder how much ?

Whatever, but playing is very nice indeed ....

  • @talwarjatin

Yep, just the Peavey. No effects. Thanks!

  • nice guitar man

  • 2nd solo is not good! excersize more! ;-D

  • cool

  • i have the same amp.

  • @severejoseph100 same here xD

  • @TheDimebaglegend i learned this song in a week :)

  • Please make a tutorial.

I'm stuck at the second solo. I CAN'T FIND ANY VIDEO TUTORIAL on the second solo.

It's like nobody cares about it or something

    I need to know

  • @Soldier1287

I couldn't find a tutorial either, but I cared, so I learnt it!

  • I love the Peavey

  • This is an awesome cover and the best out there. I am a huge metallica fan and i love all of your covers. I was wondering if you could do a cover on Ride The Lightining and Disposeable Heros.

  • Backing is too loud, cant hear your guitar....You say your using no effects but either all i can hear is the metallica version or your using a delay effect with the clean stuff as it echoes...

  • @joemason1992

I use a touch of reverb built into the amp, but no effects pedals.

  • @DrSlackBladder too bad metallica sucks had some pretty good songs before all that new shit

  • Are you using any effects?

  • @redsfan293

    No effects.

  • awesome dude ^^

  • What effects do you use?

  • @MegaVigge

    I don't use effects.

  • Awesome cover (:

  • Damn, beautiful guitar, beautiful playing, beautiful rest for my ears at the intro!

  • 24 ppl can sumhow do better than you

  • How Much did you pay for those guitars?

  • What do you play on the last lick?

    I play

12-12-15-12-13-15-17-15-14-15-19-17-15-21--19-22-22-19-17-22 and the two full bendings on the 22nd fret

  • @Anarki112233

I don't know, it was a long time ago!

  • Wow i rember playin this shit when i was 15!...haha.

  • Nice video, dude! Pretty sure the opening rift was like the first thing I learned on the guitar. I can never get the main (3rd, i guess) solo, but u totally nailed it

  • nice man! were you using the sanpera footpedal in this? by the way you can get cleaner audio if you use the headphone jack connected to the computers headphone jack. you need an auxilary cable for this (fairly cheap) worth it though :)

  • nice man i admire you (Y)

  • great job sounds just like it

  • i like the live intro version better it has more of a feel

  • This was insane bro.

  • awesome cover dude!! 5*

  • wat kind of guitar?>

  • @rockNrollrocks100

    Jackson Kevin Bond Signature Rhoads

  • Sweet!! But you should try to play to backing tracks ;)

  • @AbsoluteTunesHD

Thanks. I've started using backing tracks now ;-)

  • u suck!!!!!!!!!! lol juss kiddin great cover dude awesome solos

  • Hey dude, great cover.

Which Amp are you using for your covers?

  • @SERGIOWIIRIVIEWS

Thanks. For this and most of my covers I used a Peavey Valveking 112, later modified with a Celestion speaker. But now I use an Engl Screamer or just the Line 6 POD Studio software. My first two covers I recorded using a Marshall AVT100.

  • @DrSlackBladder Wow! Those must be really good amps. I think I'm going to get a Randall KH 75 and a ESP LTD EX-50 and maybe in the future I'll get a LTD KH 202. :)

  • i think your vibrators are rather sexy

  • Awesome as always! I'm learning this song at the moment, it's been really helpful to watch someone play it as I read through the tab, thank you SlackBladder you legend.

  • good cover but your guitar is out of tune and your vibratos suck , other than that its good

  • @meriadocBr

Thanks for your comment; the tuning is good but the intonation is a little out. I made this video a couple of years ago and would appreciate your view on whether or not my technique has improved, if you could watch my most recent videos?

  • Comment removed

  • I'm 14 years old and i can play this. BUT NOT LIKE YOU!!! I BOW DOWN TO YOU. like, seriously, you are my idol. LOL

  • @toapyrite245425 I'm 13 years old and i can play it -.-..... Age is not matter.

  • @toapyrite245425 im 14 too and i can play this perfect lol o.O the age dosent matter.... all you need to do is practice a lot on the same song till it sounds like in the studio version

  • the guitar in the back looks more like a metallica guitar than the one hes using

  • Comment removed

  • Sounded a bit out of tune, but still a good cover :)

  • anybody got tabs from the beginning of the song to 00:47

  • Watch my video : /watch?v=8bPrf7zWqFo

Cover of the music Welcome Home (Sanitarium) with all solos By bruno.

    And comment please :D

  • How do you change form clean channel to distorsion???

  • @MrGuiharr

    Amp channel footswitch.

  • AWESOME COVER, MAN!!!!

  • amazing bro.

  • WOW!!! Very GJ!

  • My dream is to play like you one fucking day!:D

  • TE FELISPITO VERGADERAMENTE

  • BADASS.

  • Awesome cover :)

  • how comfortable are the randy roads guitars that you have in yoour videos? i tryed a alexi 200 and it was weird if your not used to that type of guitar. how are yours?>

  • @yungwun1001

They take some getting used to, but I find them more comfortable than more traditional shapes.

  • which amp is this in the background?

  • @DonHacko96

    Peavey Valveking 112.

  • Hey , which guitar are you using ? i can't see the headstock properly .

  • @DjRaveKing

    Jackson Kevin Bond Signature Rhoads.

  • @DrSlackBladder Thank you so much for your reply !

  • @4:03 are you downpicking that? cause if so thats friggin amazing!

  • @FroZenCyanide

    Yes.

  • beautiful guitar , great cover ; )

  • you should do a tutorial on how to play the solos for this song

  • This is a great cover! I was just curious, are you a self taught guitarist?

  • @000DENZEL000

Thanks. Mostly self-taught since classical lessons as a young kid. Check my channel page for details and loads more covers!

  • this cover is fucking awesomee!!! ;)

  • good ;)

  • Out of curiosity, and I know this is how Kirk plays it, but why does everyone use their first and pinky for the acoustic arpeggios instead of first and third fingers?

  • @edge526

    I just play what's comfortable.

  • @edge526 'Cause I just changed my account, I have to get to work......... The acoustic arpeggios are called Power Chords, and not everybody uses fingers 1 and 4, see Dave Mustaine

  • @metalayer89

    Jackson Kevin Bond Signature Rhoads

  • what do you think about making a the four horsemen or one cover?

  • nice. i just tackled the first solo today. gonna work on the rest some other time lol

  • Great job!

  • is that a Peavey amp? If so what kind?

  • @Sabuu2010

Yes, Valveking 112. See my channel page for more detail on my gear!

  • @DrSlackBladder how do you change the guitar channel quickly?? i use a practice amp..so i just wanna know..this is quite important for me..

  • @ZeppelinFreak90

I use a footswitch to change amp between clean and overdrive channels.

  • awesome cover

    check out mine;)

  • hey dude just wanted you to know that when kirk dies (you know even gods sometimes die ) if he does .. you are the first one to be invited to metallica :D

  • @pempkek

It doesn't matter. Just believe him.

  • which amp settings did you use?

    great cover btw :)

  • @Led2Slash

I really don't remember, sorry. Thanks.

  • I don't get why a person that wants to play metallica would use a guitar with only one hambkr...if that RR from the back is different, use it...still the guitar is awsome! ..if you search you will find that there are versions without the guitars, (backtracks) use them so we can heard only your guitar...

  • @davidmonroy86

Thanks. I've started using backing tracks without guitar now, you're right, it's better. The RR3 on the wall has two humbuckers which I have used for some Metallica covers. I've also used a twin humbucker RR5, check out my Fade To Black.

  • @DrSlackBladder yeah I did see it after my comment...that RR3 is sweet!!

  • @XxK41xX if you pay for guitar lessons quit right now, trust me some of the best guitarists are self taught

  • @RegurgitatedSoul Like who? ^^

  • why 18 people don't like this video ???? the music is ok, the guitar is ok , the amp is ok , the guy is ok ??? maybe the watch on your left arm ... ^^

  • Awsome, cheers.

  • What's your guitar ?

  • @DunlopTortex05mm

    Jackson Kevin Bond Signature Rhoads.

  • @DrSlackBladder got my jackson king v with floy'd rose

  • Who is the tuning of the guitar??

    it is on E??

  • nice playing.. i guess you learned it by yourself? my guitar teacher forced me to hold my hand just not like you^^

  • @XxK41xX lol never listen to teachers advice ( for kids !! its a joke! stay in school , believe in me it's better for you ^^)

  • Awesome, sounds great!

  • Were do you get the money to afford such a beautiful guitar?

  • @metallicamaster1234

    I earn it :-)

  • @DrSlackBladder Did you ever start a band at all?

  • @metallicamaster1234

No, but earlier this year I joined a classic rock band in my local area.

  • @DrSlackBladder I see, well I think you deserve a record lable.

  • epic.

  • @kjhcj epic guitar XD

  • anybody know why kirk is posting youtube videos? kinda wierd

  • @kevmilla Whats his account?

  • @kevmilla if kirk posted a sanitarium video, it would be worse than this

  • @sanjinator17 That's not hard to do >:D

  • how long have you been playing????

  • @TheScottishGeorge

On and off for 30 years, last 3 seriously. Check my channel for details on my playing, influences, gear and more covers!

  • best sanitarium cover in youtube!

  • nice guitar man and just wondering is taht a randy rhoads custom

  • @deadpool971

Thanks, it's a Jackson Kevin Bond Signature Rhoads.

  • do you have some tutorial or tab of this song?

  • @casazavodu

Yes, I bought the book for this one.

  • is the solo at the end difficult?:D My new project is to learn this whole song?

  • @FelicianoNielsenK

The whole song is nowhere near as difficult as I expected. I made it a long term project, expected it to take months. I ended up recording this just a week or so after starting to learn it. Go for it!

  • i can't see how anybody can dislike this?

  • @hadshark ha they hit the wrong button mate.

  • very good

  • Hi there, nice covers u made! And rly nice guitar, i was just wondering if u could send me somehow tabs:D

  • @FourTimesM

Thanks. I have the tab books for most Metallica albums, but you can find most of them on ultimate guitar website. Please check my channel page for more details!

  • thumbs up if you do power chords with you index finger and pinky instead of ring finger

  • are you simons dad?

  • @gunz1and2rozez3boy4 were u referring 2 Simon Moore?

  • Great Cover i like ur guitar

  • you really like jacksons don't you lol how is the necks on them

  • very nice man.Love the green rhoads model jackson it sounds better than the dk2 dinky i have.

  • @zerohero4ife agreed cuz i too own one...unfortanly:(

  • Fan-fuckin-tastic!!

  • Hola oye esta muy fino como tocas... me puedes decir de donde sacastes la tablatura? porque le verdad es q las demas tablaturas no se comparan con esas! por responde! By:DarkPowerxD

  • i think i got to subscribe after watching this

  • just great

  • You play very well. Nice Cover. Could you tell me how do you pass the audio from the amp to make a nice quality video??

  • @StratEdition

No connection to video camera; just a Canon SD750 digi camera with its internal mic.

  • @StratEdition if you dont have a decent camera mic, you can run a cable from your "recording or mic out" on your amp, or even headphone out straight into the "mic in" on your laptop/pc that way you can record what comes out of the amp (ie: no plectrum noise, no accidental recordings of you humming or anything like that)

  • @sathos I know I did that and downloaded audicity. With that I've put Enter Sandman playing and I could play with it and my guitar would sound with the song xD The only problem is that I get discoordenated and I play faster or slower than the song. So if I want to do this I have to not use phones while recording cause I dont hear the song.

But thanks for the tip anyways

  • You play very well. Nice Cover

  • one last question^^... where did you get your tabs???

  • @Windelfeuer

Check my channel for more detail on my gear, tabs, my playing, etc. For this tab I bought the book.

  • please please !!!PLEASE!!! help me !!! i got a Marshall MG 15 dfx... how i tune it to get the sound like you (like the original) ???, please help me!!!!!!!

  • @Windelfeuer

You'll struggle; mine is a valve amp relying on valves being overdriven for a saturated hi gain tone. Yours is a budget solidstate, relying on digital circuitry for a distorted hi gain tone, which be fizzy. If you can't change your amp, go for mid high gain, high bass, low mids, mid highs, although of course your guitar, pickups, recording equipment, style, room acoustics, even pick, all affect your tone. I don't know your guitar, style or ability, but that amp will restrict you.

  • @Windelfeuer

A cheaper way is to take your guitar and amp combination to a guitar shop and try each of their distortion pedals. It won't get Metallica's overdriven tone but you will find a high gain, scooped tone that I expect you'll like. Recommend Digitech Metal Master or Distortion Factory.

  • @Windelfeuer oh, cool... THANKS!!!^^ it works i mean it sounds more like the original^^ cooooooooooooooool... thank you!!!

  • Hey man, trying to learn this song, great cover!!!!!!!

wondering if you could help me get the distorted tone? i think ive got the clean one sorted. Cheers.

  • @CaptainRobberik

Plenty of mids for this one, and high overdrive rather than distortion. Good luck!

  • how do you switch from a clean sound to a distorted sound?

  • @FreakyraymanNOTOW

    Amp channel footswitch!

  • looking at this again cause i cant get the 3rd solo just quiet yet but awesome job as always really fun to play as well

  • I keep saying this time and time again... YOU ROCK DUDE! post me a friend invite to TheRadiationSicko!

  • the esiest song 2 play from master of puppets

  • I WANT YOUR GUITAR!!!!!!!!!!

i'm kidding, but seriously, that is an awesome guitar!
