Thanks for these videos, they are really helpful. Sorry for the double comment but now I have a question since you said no question is too simple.
I'm a new player to RR(and I wouldn't say i'm a good player yet) and he seems like a very fast character. Do you think I could use him efficiently with a xbox controller? I've heard of some good players who use controllers, but RR seems faster then most characters. I can do really basic stuff, but I haven't tried more of his fast stuff.
@Jasou2 To be honest, it usually personal preference. RR doesn't require alot of button charging. That said, I don't find any of the higher execution stuff like RR to be very doable on a pad... but I'm a stick player, so... *shrug*. Mostly, it just comes down to practice.
Sorry to cut in but what is your best way of pulling off RR's spitfire for OTG combos?
I hardly use arcade sticks but they are far more effective for aggressive offense game for any character you have better precise over character dashes and inputs rather than just a tiny 360 controler also the analog is to close to my hand palm which sometimes makes some players like me struggle with pulling some advance moves at least my PS2 controler for PC and PS3 analog is easier 4 me.
can anyone please explain to me what 236B input and all those numbers mean. also wat does tiger knee mean. im new to marvel and capcom fighting games so all this stuff is very new to me :S
@jhvidst2 cant reall y think of 1 thing for those 2. but something that help shuma players would be to use mystic stare to do good combos midscreen. Not really seen a lot from players even though its very effective. the difficult part is relaunching from midscreen after the eyes otg them
Definitly gonna try more TK tech after seeing this. my RR game has leveled up alot after this. Also modok or viper might be a good feature in the next tricks & tech. Since people talk that high learning curve.Discussing syneregy between 2 characters might be interesting thing as well
@MegaInstantnoodles I've actually got plans for a Viper one. My MODOK is pretty sketchy, but I can work on that. Is there something particular about either of those characters you would like to see? My gimmick is pretty much just focusing on one thing per video.
@ain770330 To make the math easier, I'm gonna use a 10 frame move. If a move has 10 frames of startup, 10 active frames, and 10 recovery frames, and the character's speed gets a 30% boost in XF (this is listed as 130%). Then while XF is activated the move would have, 7 frames startup, 7 active frames, and 7 recovery frames.
I've been playing Rocky since this game came out, and I never thought of using TK spitfire as a welcome setup. That with Ammy's assist seems nearly impossible to block. Thanks for sharing this.
Nice Music! I especially liked the dig crossups, I've been doing them with an assist but knowing he can do it by himself is pretty neat trick to pull out once in a while.
Just wondering, are you going do tricks and tech videos for all the new characters? I'm really considering getting into Ironfist.

Anything for Hsien-Ko would be fantastic. Favourite character. Any exploration into her tech holds much interest for me.

How do you submit to shoryuken?
cmc42561 2 months ago
@cmc42561 There's a submit a top button at the top of the main page. This video already made the front page a few days back.
I'm gonna try to do at least one of these a week until I run out of ideas.

Hello!
I have a little question.~~
How do i compute the X-factor Speed Boost about Start-up and recovery frame?
Ex: XF Lv3 --> 5f/130% ? or 5f x130%?
THX

@jhvidst2
So it's x 0.7?
The Attack's Hit-Stun or Block-Stun isn't affected by X factor?
THX very much!

Do the projectiles disappear when he is hit? If so, I could see this being used similar to Phoenix H Fireball--Teleport in vanilla.
Shockeled 2 months ago
@Shockeled Yes, but his teleport and stance is so low to the ground that almost every projectile will go right over the Coon's head.
