I'm not sure Ocarina of Time is fitting material for a Metal Cover... not as is atleast.

This came off as a bit schizophrenic to me. I don't know if these songs benefited from this treatment. The pacing between the songs is so different comparatively so without the use of some extra creativity, they don't flow together smoothly.

As a result this is jarring to listen to for some parts of it.

15 years ago my brother bought OOT on the n64. He played it, and played it until he got quite close to Ganondorf's castle until he got a little bored and restarted it and played it until he got to the water temple and he did the same thing. Then somehow we got rid of the n64 and all the games we bought. Eventually after 8 years we got the same one back plus all of the games. Playing OOT at this point was just EFFORT! But after hearing this, it convinced me to complete it which I did! Thanks JD!

Actually, it's there 3 times, before Lost Woods, after Kokori Forest, and after Kotake and Koume.

It was a helpful transition piece. It sounded better going into/out from things than other bits. There are 21 different segments to Hyrule Field that are a rather short 8 measures each, altogether I used 6 1/2.

It's also the song you hear the most in the game! :)
