  • wow man your a tool just leave the atheists alone atheists dont believe in god because there is no proof im a scientist i need to see it and if there is a god and he wanted us to believe in god i think he would make that happen but he hasnt oh ya i dont think believe atheists are your area of expertise so go brush up and talk to a real atheists in stead of your camera

  • 1 question to every THEISTS!

When will you start filling your empty brains with TRUE, REASONABLE, LOGIC KNOWLEDGE?

  • @SniperLegalize Amen (just for the irony)

  • @Metaridley17o Amen :)

  • what an ass....... i am a christian..... but this guy, makes me want to NOT be one

  • Wait wait. . . God doesn't condone slavery, but he did take the time to setup a set of rules for it. Instead of saying it's wrong, he says "Oh yeah, it's a thing, just follow some rules." Come the fuck on dude, that's advocating the practice if I ever heard it. And what is this about his hand of mercy being seen by setting up these rules? If he was truly merciful, wouldn't he command that people not be owned by people?

  • this guy looks like a cocksucker :/

  • christians sure is a wierd kind of people.....mindles zombies, unable to think for themselfs....MY advice to you, is to use the rest of your life enjoying it, because you obviosly have used the most of your life folowing a path that leads to nowhere..

  • YOU ARE A BITCH YOU NEED TO DIE!!!!!!!!!

  • So, if you were raised as a hindu you would still want a relationship with Jesus? I'm not trying to disprove religion or anything like that with this argument. All I'm saying is that you were raised as a christian and therefore you are christian.

  • @EFT202020 You could say the same thing for most athiests. The difference is many athiests when they become an adult and grow a brain for themselves become thiests. The same vice versa, it depends on how you are told things. If you are influenced by Christianity your whole childhood, you will obviously be Christian. If you are then exposed to huge amounts of athiesm when you are an adult, you will most likely turn athiest, again vice versa. It depends on how you are exposed to certain info.

  • @hellohamza2

Yes, exactly. But you are much more impressionable as a child, it's not very likely to convert from anything from anything.

  • @EFT202020 It is extremely likely, then where the fuck did athiests come from? Almost the whole world used to believe in one God, and now its changing, due to the way 'intelligent people' are presenting athiesm as true and religion as false.

  • @hellohamza2

First I'd like to point out that I'm not an expert, this is just what I guess happened.

Religion started to become less important in our modern society. Then the question, "do you believe in god?" came up and many people realized that they actually didn't.

I'm Swedish, I and everyone I know were raised completely without religion being mentioned. We weren't taught to not believe, we weren't taught to believe anything. All of us are today atheists.

  • @EFT202020 Hmm thats interesting actually. Fair enough.

  • Those questions have been answered millions of times... present something new at least.

  • 11. For a start, he would have to demonstrate his alleged divinity. A few amputee healings and a bit of stationary barefoot waterskiing would have to occur first. Even so,his messages are a bit outdated don't you think? Would hecometo Australia I wonder given that he only ever seemedto hangout in the middleeast before...why is that? 12. Make the practice of all religion illegal. Simple. It is poison.

  • 4. Nothing because the world is neither absurd or meaningless to me as an individual. 5. Christianity makes the least sense to me because the hypocrisy levels are astounding. 6. Never 7. Pascall's wager? FFS. Are you as a believer hypocrite prepared to go to hell? 8. Are you serious? It was once the christian moral code to stone children to death. 9. To try and educate those considering it as to how ridiculous it is. 10. N/a Most on my interest is wildlife ecology.

  • 1. Evidence 2. I was born an atheist and despite the efforts of my parents I could never bring myself to believe bullshit. 3. "the dawn of man kind"??? ok that silly phrase aside, the reason is because we humans like to understand why things happen and we are prone to providing answers. When no tangible explanantion could be found we invented gods. Everything that used to be attributed to supernatural now has a scientific explanation. why persist with fairytales?

  • JESSSUSSSSSSSS FREEEAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKK!!!!!!!!!

  • this guy is fucked up

  • If sin causes bacteria, then what was so sinful 2 billion years ago?

  • Mor X-ians in Prison is because there are more x-ians in society. That's about the only thing I can say I slightly agree with. when people go in Prison, they asked what your religion is, most people do babble of what they were raised.

  • 1. evidence 2.evidence 3.because it sells them hope in a very cruel world 4.because its how the world works, duh 5.neither, because both of them are batshit crazy 6.yes, for 23 years in fact 7.hell is imaginary 8.morals are subjective everywhere, fool 9.because i live in america 10.what in the monkeys ass are you talking about? 11.sure, IF HE WERE ACTUALLY THE SON OF GOD 12.we do actually, everyone just seems to ignore them.
  • 1. I don't know this is not my problem 2. Theists have not met their burden of proof 3. To fill the gaps in their understanding 4. What is existentialism? 5. Neither 6. Yes 7. I don't believe hell exists 8. Morality is a societal construct 9. Beliefs inform our actions 10. Those are not my interests 11. No 12. I continually offer solutions.
  • Atheists unlike Christians are not steadfast in their beliefs. They believe in things in proportion to the evidence supporting them. As there is as much evidence to support the belief in a god as there is in Santa Claus, we don't believe in god. If the evidence should change I will become a believer.

  • 11. Atheism doesn't reject the fact christ had some good things to say, that doesn't mean a god exists and is no proof for supernatural claims. If anyone, especially christ himself was to prove to me god existed, i would become a believer. Which still doesn't mean i would agree with anything about christianity. Just because god existst doesn't make him less of an *ss and he has some things to answer for.

    12. Why don't you fix the world? you should just pray to god to fix it and he should right?

  • @badbybirth Even though I read 1 letter this really inspired me

  • 8. Because things that are condoned in history aren't always considdered good by todays society. God says you should stone misbihaving children to death. Back then it was considdered moral.

    9. Because christianity is what were most confronted with it's what's dictating the law in certain countries which is against the separation of church and state. Your religious beliefs are forced onto me.

    10. they don't center arround that.

  • 7. Yes, i'll take my chances. God's an *ss trough the entire bible anyway. God kills more then 2 million, the devil only job's kidds and only after god lets him. According to your theology there is an all-powerfull being and not powerfull-but-weakerl-being. and the most powerfull implanted a thing in me, that says that he is the good one. Yet he allows the bad one to live, even tough he's more powerfull. the only way that makes sense is allowing him to live to use as a scapegoat for his deeds.

  • 1. Evidence of the existence of god. If for instance we found an alien race who also heard of jesus.

2.Because no religion has presented proof for their supernatural claims.

    3. Because people didn't question.

    4. n/a

    5. have you stopped beating your wife allready? you must answer with yes or no.

    6. Yes, i was raised christian, tradition is a *****.

  • atheists are atheists because they realize that things dont add up with religion. christians want to avoid accountability for their sins because they just ask for forgiveness and its over. atheists cant do that.

  • Why do you assume there is only one religion in the entire world? Sin is not a concept in many religions, so why do some of these people become atheist in your eyes?

Theism vs Atheism is not the same thing as Christianity vs Atheism.

  • 1.evidence 2.cos there is no evidence of god 3.cos humans fear the unknown 4.it just does 5.well if i have to pick. Then Islam 6.yes 7.it does not exsist, 8.morality changes in all communitys or do you have a slave and pray to god to kill children cos they made fun of you 9.i dont 10. i dont get the question 11.his teaching is fine,it is the claim that hi was the son of god that is the problem 12.here is one.stop giving money to a church give it to red croos
  • You should stop deciding of what the others think or like. You admit that God is absent ?

    11) LOL, I suppose religious dumbs will kill him

    12) You're dancing !. What problems ? , What level ? . Your question has no meanings, you have to be clear to get clear answers. Diseases are cured by medecine, poverty would be cured by wealth creation and by cooperation. The belief or unbelief in a god does not solve problems ; only actions, researches and political courage can.

  • 1) evidence

    2) I've read the Bible, that's why

    3) And so what ?

    4) What do you call existentialism ?

    5) None, and Must I ?

    6) As far as I can remember, no

    7) Are you kidding me ?

    8) Beep !!!! Generalization, there is no such thing as an atheist morality. Atheism does not provide morals nor ideology.

    9) Egocentrism, you only see what happens in your "christian" country where not believing in God is considered as an insult and where bashing atheists is not persecution.

    10) Beep !

  • Religion is a gamble.. if you don't have a religion, ur loss.. if u do. You count how many religions there are. If you see the main 4 and you pick 1, then there's a 25% chance that that religion is true... Oh and bye the way, I've had proof

  • You athiests make me laugh of how stupid you are

  • People become believers because they like fairy tales, imaginary friends, and have weak minds. They want or strongly desire their big imaginary daddy to look over them.

They need someone to hold accountable for their misfortunes or to praise for their luck. They are overall dumb people.

Between facts or fiction, I choose facts.

  • 1. If any omniscient gods exist, they know what proof I'd need.

  • 10. My interests don't center around suffering and tragedy.

    11. No, because his teachings are immoral.

    12. I'm not sure what you're talking about.

  • 1. Evidence

    2. There is no evidence for supernatural claims.

    3. Because people are gullible and like rousing stories.

    4. Because there's no reason to think that anyone other than ourselves govern our actions(?)

    5. I can't pick one, they're both absurd.

    6. I used to, when I was younger.

    7. No, because I don't think it exists.

    8. Morals are subjective in all communities. You don't agree with everything that's supposed to be "moral" in the bible.

    9. Because religion should be fought.

  • Question for you, If you had been born in Saudi Arabia, do you think it is rational to say that you would be wearing a turban and claiming Islam to be the only true religion?

IT IS ALL MAKE BELIEVE , DELUSIONAL THINKING almost always influenced or indoctrinated since child hood, want evidence? Go check how a religion spreads by geographic regions.

  • can lose his job. And if you are forcing people to live under what you see as God's law, you better prove God is real, for a start. Or live and let live. Each his own.

    10. How do you know my interests? Now you assume something, namely that all atheists like art, and they all like the same art! I think that this kind of assuming, that atheists are X and not Y is bloody dangerous. Please stop it. Atheists have little just one thing in common, and that is it.

  • For myself I can only say that Art has to hit me. And since misery is a powerful emotion, it is a very useful basis for Art. And the inner turmoil... That is an assumption. And I love comedy. :P

    11. Only if it makes sense. Don't know enough about the subject for a really deep answer here.

    12. The danger of religion is, that it is hijacked by the conservatives who use it to force stuff down peoples throat. I reject ALL constructions that allow that to happen.

  • Comment removed

  • 7. Now that's a WEIRD question..Are you afraid of stuff you don't believe in? So not afraid of getting spanked by the magical pink unicorn?

    8. Morality changes every where. While I know that God morality is seen a constant, his followers most certainly dont display constant, unchanging morality. I live in a city where religion was very dominant and gays were hang until 1650 or so.

    9. No I dont. I just love to discuss. I dont live in the US, where an atheist....

  • 3. Humans need answers, humans need a goal in their life, and humans need a constant reminder of what not to do. Btw, Im not saying that religion has the right answers.

    4. Lol I had to look that one up. Google be blessed. Its a nice philosophy.. life is what you make it. If I dont believe in some kind of laid out path by a God, I have no choice then to find my own way.

    5. None. I dont believe in a God, so i wont choose. Period.

    6. No. Never really did.

  • 1. Lets starts with a God who shows himself to me and the rest of humanity. And second, lets see what it wants.

    2. Most of all: All groups within a religion form their own vision of God. And if you study religion long enough, you realize that religious are not really interested in the "pure" God. God is humanized and made to suit needs. I do not want to offend anyone, but humanity lacks the capability to deal with a pure God, if there is so much at stake, human nature takes over.

  • 11. Good video, and you seem like a good person. I hope one day you will understand why people have different faith, and that the concept : "all people who believe different than you will be subjected to some eternal punishment " is a very bad one, when some real thought is put into it.

People aren't being disobedient, they just don't have the same beliefs you have.

  • 9.skip

    10. Why not just condemn slavery. You are saying that he allows it because man is sinful and will do it and will be subjected to it. Then allow prostitution, homosexuality, rape, and any other sin man will be subjected to. This is a bad argument for slavery.

I think b/c slavery was practiced at the time, man just included it in the Bible. . Man put in the Bible what they thought god thought was OK. God's word is just man's concept of god. It's clearly shown thru the bible.

  • 8. Silly question, Christians make up the bigger population,. it would be like saying to a Muslim why are their more Muslims in Jail in the Middle East than Atheists.

  • The fact that the act of not believing or accepting an idea is a worse sin than rape, mass murder, torture, or whatever , is a good reason to not give into a religion.

In your words, " we have to accept that we are only saved thru J.Christ."

Saved from what? How is judging a person who lives a good life the same as Jeffrey Dahmer fair. And to top it off, if J. Dahmer accepts this concept and a good person doesn't , J. Dahmer goes to heaven and the other person doesn't. Really?

  • 6. Not familiar with the challenge but your making a bad case for Christians using God as the reason for a 40 day fast. You just cited reasons why a god would not be necessary. Whether Christian or Atheist.

  • 5. Lesbianism is not mentioned once in the Bible. it seems the Bible is not tolerable of a man lying with another man, as it is mentioned very often and refers to the man specifically. The Bible also mentions the sexuality of women when referring to animals, relatives, or adultery, but for some reason the act of a woman lying with another woman is not mentioned once. And you cannot find a scripture, I promise!

is it b/c man wrote the Bible? if a woman wrote it it probably would have been in it

  • 4. Gaps! As long as science keeps finding answers and fill in the gaps, religion will continue to say OK, we will just insert God one step earlier. it was god's plan the whole time is usually how Christians put it when the first initial idea was wrong. Eventually Christians will be saying it was God's plan that we evolved from other life forms. Many Christian are already admitting that god started the big bang as opposed to god just making the stars & planets as they appear today.

  • 3. I believe Depeche Mode said it best here. " people are people". Whether you're an Atheist, Christian, Muslim, etc, we humans have traits that distinguish one from another. Those traits come out, not b/c of a particular set of beliefs. Your personality makes up who you are. If you are a caring person, you will be so no matter what you believe. If you are a mean person, odds are you will be a mean Christian, or a mean Atheist. Belief plays a small role in our personality, genes play a big role

  • 1. many Christians use the disobedient answer a lot b/c in their mind it would be disobedient. The reality is the whole concept of religion fails to make sense, I've even heard Christians say that.

    2. I believe the initial reason for becoming a Christian was probably do to peer pressure. And the other reasons sort of fell into your lap as reasons to justify your belief.. Maybe guilt also played a roll. But peer pressure by friends, neighbors, or relatives is usually the biggest reason.

  • 12.FREE YOUR MIND-START USING IT!

  • 7.....I'm atheist...i'm not believe in god(s)....hell is place where satan rule, and satan is bad god....So, if i dont believe in god(s), how i can believe in hell?oO?

    -------------------

  • In regard to your first point, someone who is "rebelling against god" is by definition, not an atheist, but rather a rebellious theist.

I'm not sure that you really understand that being an atheist means that I really truly don't believe in any gods at all, not even a little. The idea of a god is ridiculous to me, and if not for the fact that I was once a believer, it would be totally incomprehensible as to how anyone can believe such nonsense, to be blunt but hopefully not rude.

  • If you lived in the country I live in, you'd understand how BIG problem the religion is. Way too much influence, manipulations and corruption. I'm not against god, I'm against the organised religion. People use it for their own profits.

  • 1. An experience of divine intervention 2. Because the idea of god not only has no evidence, but it's religions are plastered with propaganda, lies and hate 3. Because any religion is malleable enough to force two opposing ideas 4. Because there is no prerequisite for it to make sense 5. Islam 6. Yes 7. Absolutely 8. They aren't. Your interpretations of them are 9. Because Christianity promotes ignorance 10. It reflects the turmoil of life itself, not ours specifically
  • @TheMusicvent 11. Depends on if he was creating world peace and showing up Criss Angel at the same time.

    12. There's a simple answer - don't believe in something that causes war of any kind.

A question for all the years I've been alive. You gotta step it up if you wanna convince everyone, bro

  • Im Christian and want to get along with everyone, no matter what you believe... We can all get along regardless how each other feels. Its called being a man and a woman.. Don't fight against each other... Because if we fight against each other.. we both lose.. because thats evil on both our parts. =(

But I can't stand Bible Beaters and Javohas Witnesses... they scare me even.

  • I know why christians become christians...because you are not smart enough to figure out there maybe possibility of "others"

  • Ur so pathetic with deluded views. christianity is 1 of the most ridiculous religions known to man. since you don't believe in unicorns you must be rebellious??!!

  • Virus and bacteria exist because of our sins? Really? Wow.

And the fact that Christians think that homosexuality is abhorrent and evil is enough to persuade me that it's the wrong belief set.

  • haha tj has more subscribers than you

  • God can forgive ALL CRIMES no matter how hynous these are--Except BELIEFS!

God Loves you, but if you don't believe he'll torture forever. And so forth.

We don't believe in GOD--there's NO PROOF of God!

A few years ago I said Goodbye to Jesus--so far no regrets!

  • @flightkiller09 Its not "we" you don't speak for everyone, you speak for yourself.

  • @D0ntTaseM3Br0 Should' ve been specific: We Atheist. And I know your ways (your lies) for I was a Christian!

  • @flightkiller09 I don't lie about anything. Im sorry you feel that way.

  • 1) I was born an athiest, was forced into Christianity, embraced it, researched it, then realised there is no God. So I evolved back into a natural woman. I felt silly talking to my cieling.

    3) Athiests are kinder because we are humanitarian. Christians would kill everyone different than them if there were no laws to protect us from them.

4)Duh! They exist because God hates you and wants you do be on your knees.

    5) Christians would kill us all without laws to protect us from them.

  • @TagiFawn Im a Christian.. and I wouldnt kill NO ONE. O_O I don't care what you believe. You can believe anything you want. Not all Christians are evil. Us Christians an Athiest just need to embrace the fact that we believe differently that's all! We don't want you dead just because you don't believe in God! Why do you think that? :( The fact you even think that we are all like that makes me sick. Yes there are some very much Hypocrits who are NOT real Christians. And it makes me sad =(

  • Cant answer questions in 500 words so many reasons for each one. But I can say Atheists do not need redemption or hell as a reason not to sin, they don;t sin because it is simply wrong not out of fear but simply because they are nicer people

  • You're sure making some sweeping generalisations about atheists. You know that atheism is simply lack of faith in a god/supernatural entity, right? Not a lifestyle/religion/community/etc.

  • 6. No

    7. Question makes no sense. I don't believe in hell.

    8. Because human societies change through history & from one geographic region to the next. Our morals/laws need to adapt as we acquire new knowledge.

    9. I don't Why would I?

    10. I'm mainly interested in joyful music, dance, knitting & reading. Hardly sadistic/masochistic activities.

    11. He would be 1 among 1000s of preachers today that I don't listen to.

    12. I don't express such opinions.

  • I know this vid is old, but I wanted to answer anyway.

    1. Irrefutable proof

    2. Because there is no proof of god(s)/supernatural stuff

    3. People are afraid of death, searching for answers, & gullible.

    4. Because I believe this one life is all there is, & we should make our short time in this world meaningful.

    5. Why only these 2? Neither make sense to me, but if I have to chose; Islam. I have some amazing & intelligent muslim friends, while most of my christian friends are very naive.

  • I love how he saw a flaw made by TJ in the homosexuality question, and instead of answering it he just told TJ to go read the bible. LOL. Nice answer.

  • practice deep meditation or have an intense psychedelic experience and experience the true higher consciousness, religion just goes on faith of a book with no real experience of their beliefs, i dont even know why anyone would want to worship a fear and hate preaching god who threatens eternal torture if we dont believe in him or his rules, its an insult to the true divine intelligence of the universe, god is love, light, enrgy and consciousness as long as religion exists we will never be free

  • judging on what the first two humans did.

    10. I watch action movies where there is no real suffering, only acting. Lyrics to a song don't make you a murderer.

    11. Depends if he's preaching nothing hateful or condemning people for being gay, allowing slavery ect. and if he's floating around in the air at all times.

    12. I can; get rid of religion. All of it.

Also the slavery; he said you could beat the person to death as long as it didn't die he/she didn't die in one day. -.-

  • @SorryStamin Yes! The SLAVERY stuff is VERY CLEAR. Christians STILL DENY IT!

  • 5. Christianity; less hateful.

    6. Yes. To about 7 years old I followed the Christian religion. Then I read the Bible.

    7. I would stand to my beliefs if there is a hell, it is the most immoral thing ever.

    8. I am not very active so I cannot speak for them, but objective is something I would do as we need more information in the world to make an educated decision. But we can go off what we know.

    9. Because it has extreme hate in it. I also condemn that God for allowing any suffering and judge...

  • 1. Miracles that break laws of physics, aliens (more than one species) with the EXACT same religion.

    2. No evidence for God, most religions he advocates hate.

    3. We couldn't explain why Bill was struck down by lightening, we couldn't explain why a volcano killed all of our friends, we couldn't explain how the universe came to be. We made a deity and made him with human characteristics and that he is angry and causer of all things bad.

    4. The universe deserves kindness and realization to itself.

  • 9. I don't.

    10. My interests don't circle around human suffering or tragedy. What made you think they did?

    11. If Jesus was alive today he would be ridiculed for calling himself the son of God when he can't do anything impressive enough to convince many people of that. Nevertheless, Jesus had some pretty good ideas about life, they are valid now.

    12. Okay, stop acting like you're better than anyone else, stop acting based on your religion, stop attacking people with your religion. Problem solved

  • 4. Existentialism is a complex philosophy that I haven't studied, so it doesn't make sense to me.

    5. I suppose Christianity since it's the one I know more about, although both deny a huge amount of things that I have been taught.

    6. I believed in a god as a child, stopped believing when I hit my teenage years.

    7. From my point of view, there is no hell. So, no. Besides, it's not something you can exactly prepare for.

    8. Morals change all the time between everyone... it isn't just atheists.

  • 1. To become a believer I would need direct empirical proof of gods existence. To become a follower is an entirely different matter.

    2. I am an atheist because the notion of a vengeful, spiteful, malevolent god such as yours does not appeal to me, and there is nothing to suggest he even exists. With no other obvious option, atheism makes sense.

    3. I believe a belief in a deity has permeated many cultures because humans couldn't explain certain things and explained it as best they could.

  • This guy is retarded...

  • 11. not about god. unlike christians I actually try to practice love your own enemy. however the question is would christians still be christians? or would beating gays to death unleash the wrath of Jesus upon them?

    12. because I need a specific question. what if I were to ask you to write me a 50 pg. paper on "it" and give details. what the hell is "it"? exactly.

  • 7. the same way I'm prepared for Bigfoot to come out of the woods offer me some ice cream and dance the Macarena

    8. New knowledge demands change. religion thought the earth was flat, why don't you believe in that anymore?

9.the same reason i would speak against a 4 yr. old with a gun, religion can be dangerous when used by ignorant people. just look at the crusades, inquisition, and the witch trials

    10. because being in the pretty side of life gives a blind ye to those who suffer...

  • 1. god to come down and say "I pity the fool", seriously.

    2. I use my brain. religion is for people afraid to use their brain. only sheep need shepherds

3.primitive cultures dn't have the knowledge to explain things like thunder, and some people are afraid to think for themselves. like high school cliques.

    4. because if you need someone else to give you meaning you don't really have a life

5.neither, two piles of shit from the same Bull

6.when I was five, I also believed in santa

    ....

  • 7 nope, should i be prepared for 2012 (something i dont believe will happen)

8 cultures change, society change, knowledge changes, almost everything changes and you cant have a moral that is always for the same objective (it becomes outdated over 1000+ years)

    9 because it interests me

10 why are you such an unitelligent, ignorant biggot?

11 nope, i believe even jesus's morals would be different by now so that couldn't happen

12 no idea what your question is asking

  • 1. physical evidence, reliable factual evidence or something thats in a book that is historically correct (pretty sure the 'great flood' never happened)

    2. Why are you a Theist? if you said you believed in bigfoot wouldnt it be more logical for me to question you about your beliefs rather than you question me about my disbeliefs?

3.Lack of knowledge, no science to prove otherwise, torture to non believers

    5. christianity only for the moral benefits nothing else

    6 yes

  • as an atheist i am not rebeling against somthing i cant belive in and another reason im an atheist is because religions do nothing but bring war and death and the bible promotes nothing but death and rape and genicide an war and i am a person that thinks all those things are wrong

  • 12) I have many suggestions for improving the world. Unfortunately, the sentiment, "For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in" doesn't appear in the Republican Pledge to America, so it's a little hard to get those kinds of programs through Congress right now.

  • 9) I'm fascinated by religion, and I see some religious views as the main threat to freedom. I like freedom. 10) Outside reading the Bible, very few of my interests deal with human suffering and tragedy. 11) I'd like to hear what Jesus has to say from his own mouth. If he's the "Love your neighbor" Jesus, yeah, I'm on board. If he's the Jesus who blamed the Jews for the shedding of all the righteous blood (Mat. 23:35), his teaching would not be relevant to me.

  • I'll take my hand at it: 1) A faith healing of an amputee would be pretty impressive. 2) Because I don't see any evidence supporting the existence of any gods. 3) Relgions are useful social instruments. 4) I don't read existentialists. 5) Islam--at least Mohammed admitted he couldn't move a mountain by faith. 6) Yes, when I was a child. 7) It does scare me that if I don't accept the Quran I will burn in Hell. But not much. 8) Morality evolves, just like other social constructs do.

  • If God wants to weed people out from the people of blind faith, then he will be sending all logical people to hell. Thanks "God", you're a fucking dickhead. Why even give us a big-ass brain if you don't want us to use it and question our physical world and universe?

If heaven is real, I surely don't want to go to it, because it will be full of fucking dipshits who have no intellectual or philosophical attributes.

  • If God wanted us to believe him, he would show us empirical evidence of his existence. Speaking to one dude in the mountains, or talking to some crackpot through his tophat, or coming to individuals in a dream-state, do not fucking count. A book that was written by people does not count. Until "God" shows some goddamn proof, then I cannot reasonably believe in him. Is that illogical? Would it really be so hard for God to talk to earth through a loud speaker and say, "Bitches, here I am"?

  • Your Christian because you want to have a personal relationship with christ?

I want to have a personal relationship with Angelina Jolie. Which religion do i join? :P

Oh and by the way you were right; you do have no right to judge me. I did not become atheist to rebel against god. I think that god is imaginary. Also how dare you christians say that we will go to hell. I'm a good person and to be frank if gods real and he does send me to hell, he is the cruellest most evil being alive.

  • I could offer more detailed answers but really won't waste my time on another puny ignorant Christian (there are billions of you unfortunately). Religious people are just so ignorant.

  • 8. Oops, I forgot to complete 8. Morals are subjective, and HAVE evolved (yes, evolved) over time even in religious societies. If morals were absolute, why, in our modern society, have we stopped stoning people? The Bible teaches it is a sin punishable by DEATH, to work on a Sunday. (Exodus 31:12-15)

    12. Wow. We can find solutions to the world's problems without religion. Religion breeds hatred, it is the cause of most of the world's wars. And we have offered solutions. Ignorant much?

  • 6. Yes, I was born and raised Christian. It wasn't until I became an adult and began doing some real thinking.

    7. I don't think anyone would ever be prepared to go to a place of eternal torment. Luckily, it doesn't exist.

    8. I've never heard of an "atheist community". Atheists

    9. Why if you are a Christian are you so interested in us atheists?

    10. What??

    11. Maybe, but he would definitely need to perform some actual miracles first, so I know he's not another psycho.

  • 1. I don't need to see God, but I need reasonable, empirical evidence. I also need reasonable evidence that it is the Christian God out of all the others.

    2. After many years of questioning my beliefs.

    3. Because it is the simplest way of explaining natural phenomena.

    4. Why does existentialism make sense to you.

    5. Christianity, but that doesn't make it true. Islam just has a lot stricter rules.

  • 10. haha damn your questions are asinine, but i would say i listen to music about human suffering to understand the human condition better and the phat bass lines.

    11. Na his father condones the killing of all the people on Earth.

    12. I have, here's your answer don't show your kids the bible till they are at a critical thinking age maybe 16 then give it to them and see what they say. lol

    PEACE

  • 7. Yes but it doesn't concern me cause i believe the good things i did in life out weigh the bad

    8. I don't believe that question has much merit, bit open and generalized but i guess it could be the same as how Christian moral has changed over the years witch burning would not be condoned by 21st century Californian Christians.

    9. We like to have a good laugh

  • 1. To see god

    2. Because i haven't contacted god

    3. because people like to give names and characters to natural occurrences around the world and to enslave minds of the lower and middle class.

    4. We are given the option to make right and wrong decisions and we make them based on what we know.

    5. Neither haven't read the Qur'an yet so wouldn't know but any faith which says you can't live your life the way you want can get out.

    6. There may be a God and i've wanted to believe but nothing yet

  • God's morality? The God of the old testament sanctioned mass murder, Rape and war.

  • By God's standards flooding the planet and killing everything is O-kay! Everyone gets a second chance. Even God! Oh wait.. that means he isn't perfect.. fuck.

  • No proof he is real... a fucking book thats been duplicated multiple times? nope

  • 1. christians are unaccountable because they can interpret or find loop holes to any sin, and they can just pray for forgiveness if they cannot. 2 because they are born into it, or because they have an experience that makes them feel there is one. 3 kindness and morality are not linked to religion, it is an inaccurate question. 4 sin is not related to that issue, otherwise only sinners would get sick. 5. "why to christians view homosexuality as a bad sin" you didn't answer no room post later

  • P.s srry not try to convert people

  • Ya know what is funny? A lot of ppl on the comments pick questions that they can awnser ca.z there are some they cant. Lol also most religion says not to judge, try to convert people. And be a good person. Read that comment section XD

  • 1. common sence (religion is primitive) 2. peer pressure 3. because we dont judge based on religous views 4. virus/bacteria U FAIL 5. again ur judgemental 6. DIRECTED TO WHATSHISNAME 7. No there is no god 8. cus we aint crazy 9. again we are not as stupid 10.11.12. WE PWN

  • 12. We do try and offer solutions but if you notice its mostly religions that hold us back as a species. The main problem with the world now is over population. Who are the first ones to act against birth control? Religions. We can us stem cell research to combat so many illnesses, but who is against it? We try to educate children in school on evolution, a scientific, observable fact. Guess whos against it?

  • @mountainmanbear Micro-evolution is a scientific, observable fact, but macro evolution....

My biology teacher said a big cell swallowed a little cell and suddenly all cells suddenly had nuclei. That's not how cellular digestion works, from what I've read.

So I'd say I'm on the fence about that. :\

  • 10. I think our interest deal a lot with this bc its reality. I find more interest in seeing what the world is really like as oppose to pretending like everything is fine. Funny you would say this when your symbol is a man nailed to a cross.

    11. No bc I do not think his teachings are all moral to begin with. And a lot of them xtians just ignore. But no, I would not accept his teachings.

  • 9. Bc the xtians have no problem working their way into government and schools. If religion stayed in the home and church I wouldn't care about it at all. Its when someone feels their morals and beliefs need to be practiced by all of us. Xtians can't be happy with their beliefs unless I believe it too. I mean we have a woman potentially running for president that believes dinosaurs lived 6000 years ago.

  • 8.Give examples please. If this is so It does not automatically imply that atheism was the chief cause of the morals. you are redefining the definition of atheism with this question. Atheism is a lack of belief in god. Thats it. And a persons morals and beliefs are not part of atheism, but that persons personal belief system.

  • 6. Yes, I was once a very devout xtian. You'd be suprised at how many of us were once very devout. Most of us are more educated on religion than the ones who follow them.

    7. Well you assume hell is a real place. Once we establish the reality of such a place then I can answer yes or no. But I don't believe in hell so if I answer this question it would be dishonest.

  • 3. bc it was our first attempt to explain things we could not know at the time. These beliefs have evolved ever since, and the more we learn through the scientific method the less we need a god to explain these things.

    4. I don't automatically think it makes sense.

    5. Why must I pick one. Neither make the "most" sense bc neither make any sense to me. They are both just plagerisms of other religions.

  • 1.Evidence, something I could detect using my five senses. Not stories, books, fuzzy feelings. And even if I became a believer, I probably would still think god doesn't deserve praise.

2.Bc I simply asked myself what if I was wrong and considered the possibility that I followed a religion for no logical reason, only emotional reasons.

  • Reponse to question 2: Athiests are meaner, Our tempers bad when it comes to this stuff, i mean this is 2012 and people are still beleiving in God

  • my best friend in 2/3 was christian but he respected my beliefs as an atheist. my response why i dont believe in god regardless of scientific proof is that:

-why does he allow shit to happen?

-why does he allow a good and dedicated father, husband and marine to die of leukemia?

-why didn't he protect a 19 year old kid from being killed by IED?

-why dont he "bless us" in finding and eliminating bad people easier and more effective?

  • dude you really think that sins are what cause disease? you should go study some science.

  • The troll bait is strong with this one.

  • I've seen and experienced becoming an atheist from a christian, and the most common reason is because they want to learn more about their religion and the bible. They read and research the bible and discover it's all bullshit....

  • 1. i'd never become a believer 2. cause i take responsibility for my deeds. 3. cause it keeps people down. and maybe cause for some people life to hard to take. 4. cause i feel happy being free 5. islam in it's early years. 6. no 7. haha 8. because WE are free to change opinion. 9. cause i can't understand this: someone tells you shit. andyou believe it! 10. haah, becuase praying won't help human suffering. 11. sure, i like most of his teaching anyway 12. make the world aware of the suffering.
  • people, people! if you dont like listining to him talk about christians dont watch!

  • BRAINWASHED! This is the weakest link! Religion has made him feel "guilty" for being human - and any man who kneels before a "make-believe god" is sad and pitiful. Less of a man than the god they make up...

  • 10. You're just assuming that because I'm an atheist, I enjoy human suffering? Dipshit.

    11. Sure. It's not Jesus I have a problem with, it's his fanclub.

    12. Eliminate religion. There's my solution.

  • 7. I refuse to believe in a deity that would send me to hell (which I assume is a lot like Detroit) simply for doubting his existence. I find it absurd that Christianity requires its followers to never have any doubts about the religion.

    8. I haven't noticed any morals or values changing. I can't be held responsible for what others do.

    9. I find it fascinating how many people blindly believe this garbage.

  • 1. Hard evidence of a deity's existence. Faith is bullshit. Faith is being satisfied with not understanding the universe.

    2. I deny your God for the same reason you deny the gods of other religions, like the Greek and Hindu gods. I'm sure you don't believe in Shiva or Zeus.

    3. People like to have others live in fear. It's a great way to control the weak-minded.

    4. Sounds good to me.

    5. Islam. lolumad?

    6. Yes, up until 5 years ago. I was brainwashed as a child and then realized it's bullshit.

  • 1. Evidence 2. I have no reason to do otherwise 3. Lack of knowledge to explain unknown 4. Because I'm alive 5. Christianity, but I have very poor knowledge on Islam 6. Yes 7. Yes 8. It changes also in religious community, moral is subjective 9. It's effect on society, specially on education 10. It doesn't 11. No, but Jesus has better morals than many characters in the Bible 12. Build society on knowledge
  • Oh, I like question #5 Islam? Christianity? Mark "A" on your Scantron Islam. Mark "B' on your Scantron for Christianity. Sounds exactly choosing between political parties when you know both are irrelevant. # 7 If I die an atheist. Well, yes I am prepared to go to "Heaven". Are you prepared to go to Hell.

  • "Something about Yokeup" lolidunno "Did Christ also die for atheists?" Did Christ exist? Better question, methinks. "Why are christians more criminal?" Rhetorical question. It's because theistic belief allows one to abandon reason and/or natural morality. "Why are more atheistic countries also more peaceful?" Kind of a repeat of previous question. "Why does the Bible approve of slavery?" Because it was written by bronze age morons.
  • "Why do people become atheists?" It's the default position without any evidence for the positive claim of theism. "Why do people become christians?" Christian parents "Why are some atheists nicer than some christians?" Because people can be nicer or meaner than other people, regardless of theistic beliefs. "What causes disease?" Yep, viruses and bacteria. "Why do christians view homosexuality as a sin?" BECAUSE BIBLE.
  • I like your questions, especually 4), 8), 9) and 12). Atheism has become something like a fashion, isn´t it great to be a rebellion?...Most wouldt be able to explain their view of existentialism or propose any better idea of how to solve the worlds problems with their morals, which are set freely by everyone, hence suffering from fashion, again (though christian morals suffer from 2000years of overaging). Please watch my latest video to see my solution to these problems.

  • I have a question for you: why pose so much straw man argumentation pretending to be actual questions? Do you not understand how this exposes your argument as insubstantial and desperate?

  • 8 I won't answer a straw man argument posed as a question.

9 ^ " " it's dishonest discourse to try to pull this shite.

10 because I'm dealing with subject matter that's compelling. Do your questions reflect an inner turmoil owing to the belief in a presence that you can't demonstrate?

11 some of it yes, some of it I'd want to ask questions of, since there are widely varying interpretations of that to the point of aburdity

12 straw man argument posed as question again.

  • Do you realize, Jezuzfreak777, that you demonstrably couldn't, adequately or intelligently, answer a single one of these questions? ....What has that done to your faith? - Or do you simply think your answers were satisfactory?

  • 1 a willingness, born of weakness, to delude myself.

    2 I'm not, I'm honest enough to admit I don't know something when I don't.

3 People in general can't stand to admit the above.

4 What? some of it does, some of it doesn't. which philoshophers version, Kierkegaard say? clearly ur unfamliar.

5 No, I refuse to, same quality of problem. Which won't become mine.

6 Define that term first. I assure you your idea of it, a resounding NO.

7 I'm already subject to your delusion which fits my idea of it.

  • 12. Are you addressing someone you know, and know a lot about, that you make such assumptions that they "express all these opinions about the dangers of religion"?

In any case, challenging the irrationality, of this dangerous dogma and it's canonical source, IS doing something specific about it

  • 9.An unrealistic assumption. Most atheists don't need to address it at all until confronted with people like you, who promotes a dogma which demands suspension of reason and empiricism. Obviously, this is your ONLY experience of atheists

    10. Another inaccurate assumption> I would remind you of the Christian ideas of redemption through death by torture and infinite destruction for trivial transgressions is life.

Yes. There was nothing new or unique in Jesus' "message" the 1st time around!

  • 1, absence of reason and ignorance of evidence.

2.Work it out from answer 1.

    3..Instinctive fear

    4. Why assume it does?

    5. Which is more real, a steel bar of gold, or a square circle?

    6. Yes, like most people , I was brainwashed to believe, before I ever developed critical thinking skills.

    7. Actually yes ( please ask for an explanation) - Lol!!

8.. Morality is equally inconsistent among believers - And atheists have no divinely commanded dogma, So what's your point? What's your point?

  • So if Christians are "good Christians", they are automatically better than atheists. Way to make me a second-class citizen. That's very nice and good of you.

  • 1. Proof that god exists. 2. No one has presented any proof that god exists. 3. Humans are weak 4. Why does magical guys in the sky make sense to you? 5. Yes 7. lol 8. why are they so subjective in your religion? 9. because religion fucked up society and i want it back 10. have you read the bible? 11. I wouldnt care 12. i do, you people just dont listen.
  • 1. some sort of verifiable evidence 2. the concept of god is fundamentally illogical 3. people invent stories and deities to explain things or control other people. 4. why wouldn't it? 5. christianity, only because i know it better. 6. for over a decade. 7. I'm certain enough that it doesn't exist. 8. they are subjective in yours too! 9. it's been a big influence on who i am. 10. they don't. Seriously, projecting much? 11. no. 12. the same reason you don't.
  • 1. tangible proof 2. not a fan of the bible 3. it is a cop out to explaining how things are done 4. gives life meaning 5. christianity it wins by default 6. when i was 10 7. i am prepared to defend my actions 8. it is dangerous to try and over simplify something as complex as morality 9. religion has a major influence on everyone athiest or not 10. sooo please tell me what dante's inferno is about 11. no... im not a fan of jesus either 12. why kill a branch when you can kill the root

Yes, I burn myself for practice. 8. Cuz they hate haters. 9. Cuz I hate it. 10. You admit it, God is absent. 11. If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 12. See #11.
