  • Can anyone say New World Order?

  • doesn't this all sound just like what has been said about obama. the reason why the guy is so hated. its interesting that FDR had to face this crap from the right as well.

  • History repeats itself. If you want to know what comes next in America. look what happened in my grandpa's day. WW3 is probably coming. We can change that outcome though if we wish. I hope we do because I think this time we are the bad guys, and I think the world will turn against us. We can choose a different outcome though. Guess what? The Tea Party and the republicans aren't the answer. Democrats aren't too much better. All funded by the same degenerate banksters and corporate fascists.

  • scaring stuff....

  • For people to say this video is misleading is stupid! It's history dumbass republicons!

  • There's a speech in the film "Eve of St Mark" in which the leader exhorts the 'socialist' member of his platoon to fight for the USA and forget the way the veterans were betrayed during the Great Depression by the big businessmen who made a fortune out of WWI. He promises that things will be very different this time around, that they will live in a fairer, more just America with proper social welfare and that he can take his word on that and bank it. It's both highly amusing and sadly ironic.

  • they treated veterans like black people

  • Where was either Napolean or Otto Von Bismark when you needed him?

And you know what? Throw in James K. Polk in there for good measure.

You know what? Do this! Have James K. Polk as President, with big money-backed Bismark and Bonaparte trying to oust him.

I say Polk wins out. Can't give a single historical reason why, but he just seemed real lucky if nothing else.

  • Blurring the political and traditional "-isms" of politics is a classic tactic of someone who actually DOESN'T understand history or has an agenda to reshape the present in from their own image of the past.

Both action should be exposed as a total aneathema to real freedom and rights in relation to political association etc etc. Being told what to think about political beliefsby people like TheAntiLeft is tantamount to being reducated in some revisionist hitorical/political labor camp. LOL :D

  • You know what, TheAntiLeft, everyone would be much more inclined to have sensible debate with you if you didn't resort to name calling and insults in every sentence, and just in general behave like a spoiled, insecure, inarticulate child, or "asshat", to use a term with which you appear to be intimately familiar.

  • Jesus, it's really difficult to fight such ignorance without just getting furious at the right for relentlessly defunding education these many decades. But we all knew this was the goal. An ignorant populace is much easier to manipulate, and has a more difficult time doing everything from negotiating contracts to fighting legal battles to competing with the children of wealth for higher education & jobs.

  • Also, @TheAntiLeft, you blather about how everyone calls you an idiot instead of trying to rebut you. And yet, DaHonestAbe immediately cited some of his sources when you asked, and all you could say about yours was "Books, books and more books!" It was like listening to the Courick-Palin interview ("I read all magazines. All of them.") Then you used ad-hominem attacks instead of reason. Also, "The Bolshevik Revolution... contributed to the advent of fascism" AS A REACTION AGAINST IT.

  • Wow. I knew education was in a shambles in the US. But AntiLeft is painful to read. Oh, yes, I agree that incredulity is no rebuttal. But it's hopeless to try to "rebut"a lifetime diet of lies, distortions and revisionist history. It's so jarring for him to say "educate yourself" when a factual education is what he desperately needs. Clearly, he's only had an idealogical indoctrination. Mussolini is the one who said fascism is corporatism. Don't blame "leftists" for "smearing" your "victims".

  • What is this trickery? The History Channel showing actual History?

  • It's the TEA Party of the 30s!

  • @SDominiqueS No, that would be the "American Liberty League"...

  • @SDominiqueS occupy wall street was started by fdr ghost

  • @SDominiqueS No its not. If anything its the Occupy Movement of the 1930's.

  • Wow half the yearly federal budget is too expensive? They needed time machines to the glory of the free market and three fucken expensive wars which most Bush voters won't have to pay for cause they won't be paying taxes or dead.

  • Lol Fascist? You mean like FDR putting Japanese Americans in concentration camps?

  • @bonfirejovi that is not a fascist act. A Fascist would have put Japanese Americans in private, for profit, "holding camps" All of the Japanese American belongings would have belonged to the private company.

You do know what "fascist" means don't you?

  • @lisabob22 "Fascist" means "Corporatist"- like the kind of people you ignorantly rally to protect in the desperate hope that a billionaire will meed you for a beer, you teatarded dupe. BTW.. they WONT meet you for a beer, because they're too busy laughing at you harder than normal people (non-Republican/non-Teatarded) do and disappearing behind the walls of their gated communities to laugh at your eager willingness to slit your own throat on their command.

  • @bonfirejovi PLEEEAZE...Is that all you got, moron? We all know that teatards salivate at the notion of putting somebody - ANYBODY - in a camp. Now, you're all for defending civil liberties when you KNOW if you lived during that time you would be WHINING in fear to lock them up. You dumb, fear-based, useful idiots are so tedious. No matter how much you TRY & disparage our greatest President, it is a testament to his policies that even dumb asses like you STILL get to benefit from them.

  • let this be a lesson to all vets, once your use is up they throw you in the trash ,gas and beat you and your kids and even kill some of you. Sure makes me proud ya know. its no better now.

  • @justaman6972 More importantly, a cabal of rich men will use your legitimate grievances to turn you into a pawn of their own ambitions.

  • @Zealed I have already served as a two time combat vet. I woke up after reading General Butler's book and listening to his speech called " War is a Racket" in addition to the book by William "Bill" Cooper entitled

"Behold A Pale Horse" which describes the many fold ways of the Elumanaughty to subvert the Constitution of which I swore oaths on 2 occaissions to defend with my life. I will honor my oaths.

  • Dont be fooled by the gold standard. ITS FAKE . FOR OR AGAINST it just makes lots of money for the manipulators.. The TRUE value of a nation is in the blood and swet and knowledge and experience of its people. That is what FDR knew. Print your own money . A DOLLAR EARNED IS A DOLLAR PRINTED. THAT IS TOO SIMPLE FOR MOST BUT canada DID IT FROM 1935 TILL 1974 WITHOUT INFLATION. Then the cowrad politicians put Canada in debt to the bankers and it is screwed. SEE; Bill Abrams Great experiment

  • Comment removed

  • The bankers didn't like going off the gold standard. .....hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahah OMG good stuff

btw that's not what they where mad at, taking gold out of the common man's hand was a very important step in getting to this NWO they like to talk about these days.

  • To be pro-"generic ideologie" is only for a retard.

    *

I like FACTS and STATISTICS, that PROVE what works and what doesn't.

    *

I couldn't care less what generic "ideology" came up with the solution, as long as it WORKS.

    *

I waited 8 YEARS for Republicans to SHOW me the "money". They were an EPIC FAIL.

    *

If I was not willing to give Democrats AT LEAST the same 8 years, then feel free to call ME a moron.

  • Fascism isn't really an ideology or system of government so much as it is a social phenomenon informed by intense nationalism, belief of victimization, hatred of an identified other, and belief in the possibility for rebirth through violent action.

  • @CajunCommie word.

And hatred and nationalism are the Repubes.

  • @silat13 lol dont insult secondary sexual characteristics by linking it to reactionaries :P

  • The recent American trend of calling fascism a left-wing ideology is the most ahistorical analysis I've ever seen. It's dangerous and based on not a single shred of truth. The *only* reason fascist movements used the word "social" in Europe in the 20s and 30s was because of the popularity of socialism at the time with people. Modern fascist movements--barring actual neo-Nazis, who do not comprise the entire makeup of the modern Right--do not use the word "social," they use the word "democratic."

  • Left-wing socialist (Communist)

    Right-wing socialist (Fascist)

    -- tom-A-toe, tom-ah-toe

  • Contrary to leftist doctrine, "liberals" nationalizing EVERYTHING from the auto industry, to the medical industry, all while forcing tax payers to sponsor their ever-growing laundry list of depravities ISN'T "what is right for the country", and my opposition to their 'soft tyranny' can't be merely brushed off, and dismissed as a "bit", regardless of your baseless claims (e.g. "Right that sought to..") or how many issues you muddle in one post.

    Open your eyes.

  • Secondly, many state owned industries were privatized and handed over to major corporations and land owners (I. G Farben, Latifundi in Italy, Krupp, Siemens, etc). Their was a permanent war economy in both Nations, (particularly Germany) where PRIVATE car and armament manufacturers made billions off of World War 2. Many American corporations came and made money off of slave labor as well, Corporations that were run by prominent "conservatives."

  • i am from Aruba

the same way i am 109

    years old

  • The New Deal.

On the road to fascism since 1933.

    Liberals' response to it: happiness.

As a matter of fact, the term Liberal was redefined under FDR's socialist dictatorship to mean those favoring his wealth redistribution & cultural re-education programs. Those opposed were called conservative.

Liberals love socialism in all its vile forms, e.g., Progressivism, Fascism, Green, Communism, Marxism. It's only when the enemies of America are threatened that Liberals cry "fascism".

  • I really would like to know where you get your info on what fascism is. You seem to not really know at all. As a man who has studied what fascism is, it's clear to me you are coming from the Jonah Goldberg/Glenn Beck school of thought. You can argue that fascists weren't "conservative", but they were right wing. And they were the most vicious anti-leftists ever. Your view is not only wrong, but offensive to those who died under fascism.

  • I get my ACCURATE info on fascism from the non-government re-written historical record, e.g. books, books, and more books. You?

I would be interested to know what you think makes them (fascists') "the most vicious anti-leftists ever." Their politics & tactics were entirely aligned with leftist doctrine:

    *Gun control

    *Nationalized health care

    *Nationalized industries

    *Protected and unprotected classes

    *Holocaust, etc.

Your correct though, Fascism is "right-wing", i.e. right-wing Socialist.

  • For me, it would be books as well. Michael Parenti, Daniel Guerin, Rajani Palme Dutt, Robert O. Paxton. Just a few suggestions for you. To answer your second question (this will probably take up 2 comments by the way.) Nationalized Health Care was a concession by the Kaisers to the people in order to quell their democratic struggle and stifle them for asking for more in the long run.

  • Ford, GM, Dupont, Union Carbide, JP Morgan, Westinghouse, GE, IBM, ITT. As far as gun control goes, that had actually been a term of surrender under the Treaty of Versailles. The Allies had wanted to make Germany as impotent as possible. The Nazis didnt ride to power confiscating guns, it was the Weimar Republics inability to take their guns (more to come)

  • And as far as protected and unprotected classes, it was the protected business/wealthy classes that catapulted the Nazis into power. Prominent conservative and wealthy coal/steel owner Fritz Thyssen was one of Hitler biggest financiers. In Italy, the federation of industry and private bankers like Ettore Ovazza were funding Mussolini.

  • Now on the vicious anti-leftists.......THEY WERE!!!!! The Socialist Party and the Communist partys (as well as anarchists) were the first to be attacked, murdered and imprisoned by the fascist/nazis. Prominent leaders Ernst Thaelmann (communist) and Giacomo Matteotti were attacked and in Matteoti's case, kidnapped and murdered. And since when the hell has holocaust (racism) been purely leftis doctrine? You're wrong my friend.

  • I know I drowned you with comments. But it's only because you are gravely mistaken on the history of fascism. It all started when the wealthy were struggling with business and profits (post WW1) and tried to roll back the wages of workers in the country. But the workers had strong democratic organization, so it wouldn't be simple. So death squads (black and brown shirts) were used to intimidate workers in the name of the wealthy.

  • *Michael Parenti -- Yale "educated" LEFTIST

    *Daniel Guerin -- French SOCIALIST

*Rajani Palme -- COMMUNIST party of Britain member.

*Robert O Paxton -- Quoted as saying: "The (COMMUNIST) Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 contributed mightily to the advent of fascism."

Three of your "sources" are self-proclaimed leftists' and the other altercates with your claims entirely.

  • Go to google and hit Nasty Nazi Business and read the UE article, that oughta set you straight my friend.

  • The broad historical point herein, the concept your ilk endlessly fail to grasp, as you endlessly smear your fascist stench on capitalists, is that fascism WAS broadly, OPENLY admired by FDR Liberals until that sect of socialism played out in WWII. Liberals - at one point - suggested adopting fascism.

The only ones seemingly incapable of comprehending these facts are nascent socialists'.

  • @TheAntiLeft fascism is far more appealing to capitalists and their political backers than socialism. Fascists believe in private property, have no problem with using bigotry to scapegoat problems. They love the expression of power and violence for their own sake and as means to an end. In fascist countries, there is a total merger of the business and political elite (Mus. called it corporatism) coupled with an oppressive police apparatus to maintain Order, which fascist are also obsessed with.

  • Commie,

You leftist's clinging to the term "corporatism" evidences your need to shift focus from the source of the problem (government) to their victims (corporations) whom socialists, both left and right wing socialists, love to lord over.

Your hope is that the noun "capitalist" has some magical ability to absolve your political ilk -- Liberal-fascist -- of their Nazi politics.

    It doesn't.

  • @TheAntiLeft

    You are a TOTAL retard.

    *

Even the DOLT wrangler Glenn Beck, has more common sense than YOU do.

    *

That is an insult, because he didn't even graduate from High School.

    Try BOOKS sometime MORON.

  • Straw-man insults and incredulity doesn't rebut jackshit, ass-hat.

In the future, you might try actually addressing the politics under discussion instead of your typical Liberal topic-avoidance techniques.

  • @TheAntiLeft "Straw-man insults and incredulity doesn't rebut jackshit, ass-hat."

ROTFLMAO at the pure, ironic idiocy of Glenn Beck sheeple.

Thank you for the LAUGH OF THE DAY.

  • Backing up your former idiocy with more of the same tripe?

You see, it's not that your fits of ignorance are innate, or even genuine, but rather that your devotion to Liberalism forbids you from using your god-given capacity to reason whenever under scrutiny.

At-least try to address the politics under discussion. Sure, you'll fail miserably either way, but at least you can say you tried.

    Show some backbone.

  • @TheAntiLeft you prove that I dont have to go to the Faux News forums to find an ignorant idiot.

You are irrational and uninformed beyond reason.

  • You leftist's are really something else... The very fact that your ilk believes peppering your posts with "Faux News" or "Glenn Beck sheeple" somehow correlates to a cogent rebuttal to my posts, is in a word, "irrational and uninformed".

Perhaps in the future, you'll use less projection and baseless ignorance and try more context and relevance.

    "Just sayin"

  • @TheAntiLeft neocons are finished.

It doesnt take more than what I posted to prove my point.

    Just the facts jack.

  • @TheAntiLeft there really isnt any point in we progressives trying to educate you with the facts. You righties are generally so irrational that you disregard facts as having a liberal bias.

So keep marching in lockstep as your corporate masters give you your orders.

  • @silat13

    What "facts"?

Among the infinite amount of ignorant comments i've endured from your ilk, i can honestly say that i've encountered little to NO "facts". Baseless insults and incredulity are innumerable -- as you've just demonstrated -- but facts from your kind are anomalous.

Indeed it is that specific observation by which the reasoning mind concludes that "progressivism" requires abject vacuity in its devotees.

  • @TheAntiLeft you could care less about facts.

I have no more time to spend trying to convince hte ignorant.

You and your "ilk" are the factless idiots in this country.

Beck the Grifter, Palin the high priestess of the American Taliban, Boner,Oxyrush and Faux News.

If you cons take power again woe is us.

Your ilk almost destroyed this country with Bush 2.

  • @TheAntiLeft throws the word Nazi out like he even knows what it means. If you want to assign a party that exhibits the Nazis then it is the Conservative movement of today.

Spreading hate and fear to keep its sheeple in line. LOL what a tool you are.

  • @silat13

Pure derision isn't a rebuttal; Nor are your various "Beck" or "Palin" mantras.

Try this: Educate yourself first. Then, if you disagree with one of my posts, attempt an argument rather than decree.

  • Oh, and you do realize that the "Brady bill" (what Reagan supported) which effectively imposed a five day waiting period for purchasers of handguns and required local law enforcement authorities to conduct background checks on purchasers, isn't a "gun ban."

You leftists tell so many lies they keep bumping into each other.

  • Treuhand, had a hand in privitizing many nationalized industries AFTER WWII, but the notion that the nazis' handed over the reins of industry to people who WEREN'T involved with their regime is simply absurd. Further, the American corporations you claim "made money off of slave labor" were empowered by members of the FDR administration; Particularly W. Averell Harriman.

  • I didnt say they handed it over to foreign corporations. Local corporations in the Germany and Italy made contact with US corps and allowed them to profit as well. It seems to me you are comparing two different things my friend. And if fascism comes, which it may, you'll never see it. Sticking your fingers in your ears and going lalalalalala and calling it absurd doesnt make it false

  • "And if fascism comes, which it may, you'll never see it." -- Socialist devotee DaHonestAbe

"You're right", my friend, my friend, my friend, I don't see:

Liberals nationalizing, socializing and subsidizing the medical industries.

Liberals nationalizing, socializing and subsidizing the mortgage industry.

Liberals nationalizing, socializing and subsidizing the auto industry.

Liberals nationalizing, socializing and subsidizing the banking industry.

I don't see any of that......

  • Regarding gun control:

"All firearms and ammunition, hand grenades, explosive devices and other war material are to be surrendered ...The delivery must take place within 24 hours at the nearest German military administrative ..."

-- From Die Deutsche Wochenschau, May 15, 1940. -- Approximately 20 years after the signing of the treaty of versailles.

  • Your personal decree of "THEY WERE!!!!" (vicious anti-leftists) is just as vacuous as the rest of your mile-long, baseless twaddle. The mere fact that the nazis' were at odds with the communists' says nothing of their mutuallly-held ideology. The french "attacked, murdered and imprisoned" the English, when the two kings warred against each other. Does that mean that either weren't monarchies? -- An apple is not an orange. So what, they're both fruit.

  • @TheAntiLeft thats oh lord. comparing feudalism to modern society is really bad analysis

the nazis hated communists specifically because communists believed in racial/gender equality (what about the German people! we have a right to our heritage yet these immigrants refuse to assimilate! women belong in the home!), empowerment of workers over bosses (inversion of natural order of hard-wording entrepreneurs forced under lazy union workers!), peace (support our troops) fascism is inverted leftism

  • @CajunCommie

The various socialist sects are often at odds with each other. That doesn't mean that their ideology is different.

The American north advocated for "racial-equality" when they warred against the south, does that mean they didn't both favor a Republican form of Government?

Calling Fascism "inverted leftism" doesn't make it so. It's more like baseless decree.

  • @TheAntiLeft lol no. the fighting between fascists, who were overtly and self-procraimedly right wing and between communists was because of a very different view of the world that was exactly at odds. fascism grew out of hatred of anti-war activists, gays, religious/ethnic minorities, liberal cosmopolitan decadence. they said this verbatim. its not like anarchists vs marxist vs social democrats in any sense. every fascist from napoleon to pinochet hated the leftwing and embraced the right.

  • @CajunCommie So now we see that present American politics, present American fascism fits the pattern.

  • Conversely, anyone with even a cursory knowledge of history and the slightest intellectual honesty can see the common signature traits I posted, between Fascism and all other sects of leftist filth.

Merely touching on the range of self-delusion required to post what you have, as you can see, is quite a chore. My posts suffice that your rebuttal is ridiculous.

  • I hardly need a lesson about intellectual honesty from someone who seemingly comes from the Jonah Goldberg school of thought. My sources being leftist giving you the license to dismiss them is the only dishonesty I see here. And yes, they made money under FDR, I never said he was a saint at all. Reagan tried banning guns at one point, that horrible leftist.

  • @TheAntiLeft

Cursory knowledge? Intellectual honesty? Leftist filth?

Oh you must mean all those times leftists murdered nuns, raped children, and committed acts of terrorism against other people around the world. You certainly don't mean those rightist saints who sacrifice their own well being for the benefit of others less fortunate than they are and who aren't afraid to admit when they're wrong. Now I understand. Gosh, thanks for the lesson on filth.

  • @ThisWeekInFascism Hey if those nuns and jesuits didn't want to get raped and tortured to death they shouldn't have pissed off well-known socialist Pinochet!

  • @CajunCommie if God didnt want rape he would have made it one of the 10 commandments:)

  • Fascists tried to overthrow FDR's Fascist dictatorship?

If they were really Fascists they should've loved him.

  • OpenSecrets is a website that documents $ to campaigns. You will see that many times the same industry gives to both of the big parties. For $ sake, they do not need guns in the street, when a democratic facade is less messy. Although the guns in the streets have been increasing in recent decades. Witness the militarization of the police and view the documentary The Miami Model

  • I hear U

  • America Is Fascist

  • The Government is,not the people.

  • Yea I know
