Ever since Steinberg came out with RND 5043 and 33 VCM-VST3 I have no need for Waves plug-ins.. I also have Vintage Yamaha Plug-ins. (VCM-VST3)

Hello! Find your reviews really helpful :) Was looking for a product like Hypersonic 2, but Steinberg does not have it on their home page as far as i can see. Has it been discontinued? And if so, have they got a replacement? And if HS2 is unavailable do you know of any good alternatives? I think Nexus 2 has a lot of good sounds judging from the demos on the companys home page but don't know any other products in the same category. (PS: i'm mainly looking for synthetic sounds for dance,rnb,hiphop

@LuzDorada I've used Hypersonic and Nexus... Korg Triton??? Most of Hypersonic sounds sound like a $50 Casio Keyboard. There are some good sounds, but many of them sound like crappy General Midi Instruments.

@kidcreamm Haha, too bad for you. Most producers these days use FL Studio anyway. Both professional and not. Shit, all the VSTs used in the song "Drop The World" by Lil Wayne was from FL Studio... And the song itself, was made in FL Studio.

fl studio is a cheap ass daw, the worst ive used. its only popular amongst newbies who use cracked versions of it. basicly to cut a long story short it sucks. and the fact ur talkin bout it jus shows ur a fake wanna be producer, very few famous producers use fl studio, and the 1s that do REWIRE it to somthing like sony acid KUZ FL SUKS 4 MIXIN then do post production usally in pro tools, basicly its easyer to use cubase, sonar or live then fl kuz fl cant do much on its own.

really, there aren't that many things that FL Studio can't do. finally there is a DAW, which is easy to use and simply fucking productive. you don't have to search some hours until you are able to realize your idea. ;)

no move hypersonic dll to fl studio/plugin/vst and then go to fl studio and click insert and go to browse for more and look for HYPERSONIC under vst section make sure its vst section not dxti section then it shud work fine cuz i had the same problem!

I had the same problem, im not exactly sure what i did but, i was in the audio settings when i accidentally fixed it. I do know when i got it to work i had to turn my audio buffer up to 4069 to get it to play without making that popping sound so try that.

Try to insert it to vst plugin ..click insert on piano roll then scroll al the way down click hypersonic under vst plug ins give it a try

use your asio drivers.... go into setting and check that your main drivers are asio if not select them fi your using a cracked version they wont work so download asio drivers itll sort it out

Yeah, fl studio and hypersonic don't really work well with one another. But for me, it's Fl studio that always gives problems when it comes to dealing with VSTs.

Hypersonic + Cubase (and maybe FL Studio or NI Battery for drum beats) is all you need to make bangers, and fuck ProTools.

only problem i have with hypersonic 2 is that it won't work on my 64 bit machine but will work on my 32 bit machine. in fl it works great but if u try to click on it during playback it'll crash and you'll have to restart your project.

And which windows (XP/VISTA/7)?.i assume u got like 8 gig ram now? and which sound librabries do u use? i mostl use east west orchestral gold and colossus most now and in the new PLAY version they're 64...not sure how many other VSTI's these days are 64 now..like nexus and such?

probably it's the midi interface you are using. ASIO drivers make a huge difference.

...um...dude, I know how to friggin load VSTs into FL. Thats not the problem, there is no problem anymore. I was using the DXI version, it works fine when I use the VST version. And to get it across, I KNOW HOW TO LOAD VSTs INTO FL STUDIO! And again, let me quote an earlier response to close this.

umm...Im having problems. When I use any of Hypersonic 2s Pads or Soundscapes, FL has great trouble going through it smoothly, it skips back often, and doesnt actually play anything, and when rendered, gives silence. Does this mean I need a better soundcard, or what?

How much more do you suggest O_o I have 4 gigs atm, tho my end goal is 16. My mobo supports 32, but Im pretty sure I wouldnt even notice the difference between 16 and 32, so it would be pointless to buy extra. (I do intensive 3D work mainly, I picked up digital composition on the side)

Also, I did solve that problem to an extent by using ASIO4All instead of my crappy built in "soundcard". That suggests the new soundcard Im getting for Christmas will sove all my problems with it. Yay! XP

you know on Gyspy the brilliant legato thing it does. i'm using exs24 (logic pro 8) strings and sections they do sound really good but need that legato, do you know if there's anyway to do to it?

there's a legato button but it just lets you play one note doesnt actualy GLIDE to the next note just cuts to it
