Very emotional. At first I couldnt believe they're dead, but when I realised it... In the Boneyard and while driving the boat. I always thought of their death. I was like "You'll be so dead, Shepherd. Even if this means my life too."

Shephard will do anything to win. Even if it means killing his attributes to his success. The 2 reason why shephard killed roach and ghost was 1. They launched the nuke from the sub when shephard said not to, 2. He wanted all of the credit, so he tried to take out ghost, roach, price, and mactavish, only to succeed in killing ghost and roach. . . it makes sense if you remember the quote "History is written by the victor"...
