Wow. From a technical standpoint this is incredibly interesting. It has to be strange to play something where "fretting" the neck is what actually produces the tone (based of the electromagnetic reading of your fingers, I assume) and the right hand only selects or modifies the "strings". There in what, fourths?
It's too bad, however, that there is no lateral movement on the neck, making chords impossible to produce. Perhaps in the next version? :)
Very impressive instrument,
Great performing.

Great! How does the intonation work?

There are 4 force sensors under my right hand. They are controlled the volume and sounds as well as the bowing.
4 sensors worked as the 4 strings.

Oh, it's japanese comment ! Thank you.
TAO has some sounds not only cello but also kind of japanese bamboo flute.
Next time, I'll make a video using this flute sound.

Thank you for the comment.
About left hand, it has a controller similar as " ALESIS Andromeda".
But it has one different point. It can play "trill" as ordinary stringed instrument.
About right hand. There are 4 pressure sensors for control the volume and tone color.
And then it's for select 4 "strings" as your assumption.
> There in what, fourths?
Because the kind of violin and cello has 4 strings.
However, the maximum reason is the CPU that I used has just four A/D ports.
