The best policy is to quit listening to preachers. Not one of them is better to understand the Bible than anybody else if they take the time. I will say, though, that this notion that the Bible is black and white is nonsense. "What's a sin is a sin"? You ought to consider the breadth of that statement.

The best policy is to test everything as scripture commands - that way if a preacher gives a biblical message then its good. However if a false teacher gives a different message then dont take it, but expose and warn others.

BTW what was a sin in the OT, was a sin in the NT and its still a sin today. When you ignore or change the definition of sin, then you get into trouble.

@hetgow A sin is a violation of God's rules. But it's obvious that few Christians obey all of "God's rules." Very few modern Christians treat women in the demeaning ways required by OT. I don't any women banished for "purification" after the birth of a child. Nor would most modern Christians condone the stoning of women who aren't virgins at marriage. Some "rules" applicable to a preindustrial society aren't appropriate anymore, particularly those incompatible with the ministry of Christ.

The bible warns of false prophets and knowing a tree by it's fruit. God is truth and right 100% of the time. If someone is a true prophet of God they will be right 100% of the time- God doesn't give bad information to a true prophet.

Vincent Xavier if you have ever listened to him, is a true follower of the Lord and very uplifting. He is the mark of a true prophet/watchman as he preaches the word of God along side his prophecy. Maybe this will happen this weekend, maybe next month, next year, but it will happen Vincent is a man of God and truly loves mankind so please do not waste energy for points with man, because you know what...God is watching, and you might just have to answer to Him for this....

Part 2. Most devistating will be EMP or - Electro Magnetic Pulse, released from every nuclear detonation. Even a suitcase Nuc would produce EMP which will shut down all computers. Cars wil stop on the road. Some Christians are putting food stuff away, getting water purifiers and the like, and preparing to some degree to live like in horse and buggy days. Nuc researchers are all electing to be near the big cities for nuclear blasts as the EMP effect will be too devestating to endure.

I have never heard of this man. I do know Peter does speak of a fiery holocost in the end 2 Peter.7.3. My son, Lt Col at the Pentagon, and a sole researcher of nuclear proliferation told the State dept, we have until 2005 to take out Iran's nuclear capability. Now it is too late, they have replicating power. My son says that nuclear explosion via Iran it is not a matter of IF but a matter of WHEN. So, the prophet may be splicing news with a little Bible and a little guess.

Actually the prophecy was for Oct. 11th, but I'm weary of these guys like Vincent Xavier, Test everything and hold to that which is good. is good. I don't put my faith or trust in anyone but Jesus Christ.

I pray it doesn't happen, I have family that lives outside of DC. Had a Xavier supporter attack me for that comment. I wonder if he/she had family that lived there would still hope it does happen? Even if I didn't have family there I don't want innocent people to die or get hurt. Not everyone that lives in DC or the surrounding area are evil politicians. There are good people and bad people all over.
