BTW; where do you here propaganda??? I hear info, he says, they use the biggest bombs there were avelable / big attack / the pilots use their planes till the limmits etc.
You can see at the pilot his face, that the changing weight of the plane could be very deadly, sometimes these planes lost their wings when the bombs left the plane, caused by a mix of wind and a too fast movement...
cose my english is not so good i write to you in German:
Selbstverständlich ist dies Propaganda der Deutschen Wehrmacht denn dies ist die "Deutsche Wochenschau", die sie damals in den Kinos gezeigt haben!
Natürlich habe ich die "Anspannung" im Gesicht des "Bomberpiloten" gesehen, genau dies und die dazugehörige Musik, die Bombeneinschläge, machen das ganze dramatisch und spannend!Und das mit den Flügeln wußte ich nicht, vielen Dank!
Wolfram von Richthofen, a close relative of the Red Baron of ww1 commanded the Condor Legion in Spain and while there developed the idea of carpet bombing. he was responsible for the demolishment of numerous cities during ww2 including stalingrad.
@WilhelmAUT All I was saying is that Wolfram von Richtofen was the individual who developed the idea of carpet bombing into an operational reality. That is what my comment was about, not who was guilty of what. However during Richtofens career bombers under his command attempted to destroy the cities of Guernica, Warsaw, Sevastapol and Stalingrad. He was a Nazi Party member and a fevernt follower of Hitler. Thousands of civilans died because of his orders.
Germans Propaganda machine in WW2 was awesome!
With there music they make it very dramatic!!

1:48 This man look like the (later) artist Joseph Beuys. Beuys flew a Stuka (JU 87) and took part at the battle of Sewastopol
