  • Jeremiah 23:29 "Is not My word like a fire? says the LORD, And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?" The Word of God IS an all consuming fire that will melt away and burn off that which is not of God, and a powerful crushing force to break apart even the toughest and most stubborn circumstances. God's Word is a hammer to hit the situations in your life that are not of God, until they give way and become exactly as the Word says they should be. Persistence breaks down resistance!

  • @mariwing Good word! But you ran out of characters (lol) and didn't have room to say that continual meditation on the Word is the work of the "hammer" to break the lies that bind us.

Jesus said in John 8:31-31 IF you ABIDE in my Word, THEN you're TRULY My disciples and you shall know the truth and the truth shall MAKE you free.

I'm shocked and surprised that those two verses aren't cherished and repeated more frequently, for therein lies the power to EFFECTUATE Christ's redemption.

  • keep up the good news, check out my clip bro glory to god

  • Once people on the streets are healed they are to know about salvation immediately. Yes God loves you and wants to heal your body, but he also wants to heal and save your soul from hell's fire. Let's use healing as a tool to minister salvation to the lost and make sure they understand God's plan for salvation otherwise your work could be in vain. God Bless you brother Tom.

  • @ibethelca Agreed. Sometimes I forget to do that, or assume they believe enough for salvation.

  • @mrtomff7 I love your humility, Keep moving on for Jesus. I love what you are doing on the streets. Always remember though that the best miracle of all is a life converted from darkness to the marvelous light in Christ Jesus.

  • @mrtomff7 If you'll listen to Todd White and Dan Mohler, they'll give you more reasons why it's not always God to try to "reel in the net" though this has been taught by those who don't believe in the manifestations or the baptism of the Spirit. They've said it so often that people are brainwashed that "this is THE way to do it," when the fact is flowing in the Spirit and walking in love is "the way" and if the Lord wants you to "draw them in," THE LORD WILL LEAD you. TRUST the Lord to lead.

  • @ibethelca You should read your Bible more frequently AND more carefully. Your Bible says "one plants, another waters." Notice neither planting or watering is harvesting.

Secondly, healing IS salvation. The Greek word for "saved" is "sozo" and it means, "saved, healed, preserved, protected and delivered."

A man is supposed to be led by the Spirit of God in ministering and not led by a formula or pick green fruit. Please read your Bible more and learn that being led by the Spirit is wise.

  • @ibethelca cont2 I'm not suggesting that you or anyone else should refrain from telling anyone about Rom 10:9-10 but everyone who's led by the Spirit will tell that they're quite familiar with WANTING to say more but having the Spirit restrain them. Salvation is of the Lord and a healing is great for preparing the heart by showing that God is simply good without being demanding (you need to repent!) This isn't "a different formula." It's just an example to follow His Spirit, not your own wisdom.

  • So you are praying for the Fire of God to heal this guy? You feel heat in your hand? Why is it that every time we read about the "Fire of God" in the Bible Old Testament and New Testament it is speaking of Judgment not healing. Please share your scripture reference to God healing with fire.

  • @Mattg102202 "His winnowing fan is in his hand and he will thoroughly clean out his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire." Matthew 3:12

  • @mrtomff7 Are you using this verse for a proof text of healing? Please explain why. That text says nothing about healing but it does speak of judgment. John adds this metaphor for judgment, that of the threshing floor. The threshed grain is thrown up into the air with a winnowing fork so that the wind can blow away the chaff while the heavier grain falls back onto the threshing floor.

  • @Mattg102202 If Jesus came to save and not condemn, would that verse refer to disobedient people or the work of the enemy in believers lives? When I submit and believe on him, he goes to work in my life to make me like him.

  • @mrtomff7 Are you using this verse for a proof text of healing? Please explain why. That text says nothing about healing but it does speak of judgment. John adds this metaphor for judgment, that of the threshing floor.

  • @mrtomff7 Only when all the chaff has been separated from the grain is the latter collected (using the "winnowing shovel") and stored away for use, while the chaff is burned. The metaphor is a familiar one Ps. 1:4; 35:5; Isa 41:15-16 and the burned stubble in Mal. 4:1.

  • @mrtomff7 The verb "clean" (Mat. 3:12 your proof text ) is more literally "completely clean" or "purify", in an agricultural imagery it perhaps indicates the threshing floor left bare when all the chaff has been separated off and the grain stored, but metaphorically the verb points to the purpose of God's judgment, the complete removal of all evil leaving a purified people.

  • @Mattg102202 The chaff can't refer to wicked people because it was a part of the wheat, just like the work of Satan in a person's life. Your mistaking the parable of the wheat and the tares with this. In that parable the tares does refer to the sons of the devil.

  • @mrtomff7 With the mention of fire "that cannot be put out "we have moved beyond the agricultural scene, where the fire must die when all the chaff has been burned, to take up an aspect of God's judgment which will be repeated in Mat. 18:8; 25:41,46 the "eternal fire/punishment" which awaits the wicked.

  • nope. sorry. i've seen lots of legit healings. this guy was trying, but no... i'm sorry. if Matt was actually healed he would've definitely given a much bigger reaction. he was just being nice because the camera was on. aaaand the power of suggestion can effect temporary feelings of pain. i've experienced that myself

  • @spikesofgrace So your calling him and me liars?

  • @mrtomff7 i'm not saying you are lying. i believe that you genuinely think that he got healed. i don't think you are trying to run a scam or anything haha :) what i am saying though is that i think it was just 'over-anxious' to see a healing. if you watch tons of other videos of people being healed with people like Todd White, Bill Johnson, or Heidi Baker you'll see that people give a much bigger reaction when they are healed compared to "well... yeah." (somewhat smiling) dont you think if

  • @spikesofgrace Why don't you watch some of my other videos and you will see some classic reactions. If you are doing this on a regular basis as I am you will recognize how many different personalities there are out there and how some people are very mello in their reactions. This is just the way some people are. I quite often am more excited than the person being healed. Dude, you call yourself a believer and your being suspicious and critical.

  • @mrtomff7 i am a believer. and therefore i should test and make sure that this is actually legit. i don't like it when people claim something to be God when it wasnt. I don't want to attach or associate God's name with something that wasn't Him.

that being said, i now have watched some of your other videos and have seen some legit stuff. i believe that you have a very pure heart and are just wanting to do God's will which is awesome :) but i don't think matt here was effected. but that's me : /

  • @spikesofgrace I have no doubt that some people would lie in order to appear "approved" by God, by saying they were healed when they weren't. I also think that some people will just say they are healed, so as to not make me feel as if I failed. Do you think that I am going to delete the video just because you think he is not telling the truth?

  • @mrtomff7 if someone was truly touched in a SUPERNATURAL way by a supernatural God... that they would have a huge smile on their face or be saying things like "wow!" i'm just sayin. :/ watch some Todd White and you'll see what i'm talking about and the position i'm coming from. and if you pray for someone and they don't get healed that is ok! that has happend to me before. ya just have to be able to say honestly that they didn't get healed but God is STILL sovereign even in those times! :)

  • @spikesofgrace You cannot guarantee a positive reaction because of a healing. I believe Matt did receive his healing, but there was also a lot going on around him at the time. He felt like he was on a TV show, he had his friends around him so perhaps he was trying to maintain his composure in front of his buddies.. Peer pressure. Another possibility is that he believed that his healing would not be permanent. This was the healing video, it wasn't a follow-up three weeks later...

  • @mwhelan4 Thanks Marc. I know Matt was healed and even saw him weeks later and he said he was. This event happened at the bottom of my driveway. I don't concern myself with whether or not spike believes. If he wants to get people healed, it will never happen with that attitude.
