I'm from Britain and love optimistic 80's tunes like this, and the retro 50's style popular back then. There are a few things I don't get about it though.

Why are the Gomez' winning every draw and the Rockwell's losing? That looks like tokenism to 'compensate'(?) for a patriotic song.

Then, inexplicably, the Rockwells visit the Gomez' to congratulate them, and the daughter apparently enters an unhappy marriage with one of the Gomez clan.

Apart from the peculiar story, it looks & sounds great!
