  • My Siberian Husky puppy is almost three months and I walked her today(01/02/12) for the first time and at first she didn't know what to do but as the wind blew away leafs she chased them and after a while she began walking and running, it was nice seeing her being herself

  • Lol i made the same mistake by letting mine pull, its all fun and cute when they pull as little pups but once there bigger and stronger its a nightmare. Although mine is hitting 2 years in a few days he don't pull as much anymore.

  • I wonder what it is like walking a husky? Do they have strong pulls when you walk them?

  • Cute

  • I see a lean! Definitely teach this cutie to heel before it's too late.

  • i think u shud buy a longer leesh. just a lil

  • If you let it walk in front of you, as others have said, it will be a big problem later on. Especially with a husky, which is a strong dog! It can also be dangerous - you have it on an extension lead here and if the braking mechanism fails the dog could run out into the road with you having no control. Teach it to heel off and on lead and don't use a collar and lead - use a halti/gentle leader or slip chain. Slip chains are the best if used correctly - there are many misconceptions about them.

  • Look's sooo much like mine when he was a puppy<3 I miss those days.

  • AWWW

  • In Soviet Russia, Siberian Husky walks you.

  • @sailorpunkgirl hey i live in vermont and im trying to get a siberian husky but i cant find a trustable breeder... where did you got yours?

  • @danycruz777 i live in utah so i got mine on a website that's pretty much ebay for people in utah. you should see if there's one in vermont.

  • it's better for them to pull me since I'm so lazy at walking when I walk mine. Ha ha!! I'm not fat though. Ha ha!!!

  • put some rollerblades on and let that pooch pull you all day long!

  • Your pup is chobby =3 ...

well, at least he is not lazy like my little Dante =/

  • No, that puppy's walking you! ;D

  • ur feeding it way to much....feed it 3 times a day when its young with only food the dog can eat in under 5 minutes and make sure u can feel the dogs ribs easily without effort....make sure u give it enuf excersise....or ur dog will be obese

  • @pr0udp3rv3rt dude this is a siberian husky, they have a double coat, it only appears chubby psssh noobs

  • dude. i adopted a siberian husky. they said it was 3 months old. but really. yours is SO MUCH smaller than mine. and im starting to think mine isnt 3 months old -__-

  • @Brot2UByJT it happened the same to me, its supposed to be 3 months old but he looks like he is actually 5 or 6 months =/

  • those puppies are alway cute =)

  • aww adorable!!!

my husky/german shepard/ Collie looks a lot like your dog

  • My Siberian Husky/wolf/Great Pyreness/Labrador Retriever is 3 months now and he is a fantastic puppy. Your husky pup is adorable!

  • oh my god

    thats the cutest dog ever!

  • hiya i have a 3 month old husky and its the same size as her is that over weight ?

  • Teach this guy to Bike Jor!!!! hell love you for it trust me check out the urban mushing videos

  • If the dog is pulling, you can yell a sound like eh eh... if you allow the pulling when they are younger, it will be much harder when it is older. It will be much stronger too!

  • @gabransk very true i have a husky and whoaaaa it pulls like hell (i didnt teach her when she was a pup to not pull)

  • @gabransk . This is true. We've learned this from experience!

  • @gabransk Most definitely! We stopped our 3 month old from pulling by getting a special harness that will trip him if he pulls hard enough! They shouldn't pull too hard before they are full grown because it can actually hurt them in the long run.

  • @moreyjessica Huskies have been bred to pull for many generations, and some are even closer to the working strain of the breed than others. Many will eventually understand that that a walk on a leash isn't like pulling a sled, but others, like mine, will never figure it out, no matter what kind of harness is used, and we've tried them all...they're just doing what they were born to do. Oh, and it doesn't hurt them at all, only strengthens their muscles so they can pull more weight later.

  • @tattoogoddess23 There is no excuse for a husky to pull, regardless of their original bred purpose. I have a siberian husky and she walks beautifully to heel. You have to be consistant and work on it daily. You don't need different types of harness', just a standard collar and lead. Don't think that huskies can't get hurt by pulling, because they can and one day they and you could get badly hurt from allowing them to pull.

  • @gabransk hey pulling is very good bc any d0og that likes to pull is bred for mushing;)

  • @10huskys

not exactly. Pushing is a sign that the dog thinks its in command, and it actually does become a problem for both you and the dog if you dont train it to stop pulling on the leesh at an early age.

This is a husky. Imagine what it was like for me with an alaskan malamute.

  • @afire007 also it'll think it's alpha leader as well bc they usually travel at the front of the pack like they show in 8 Below when they're traveling together

  • @10huskys wow in that case my border collie, collie cross and german wirehaired pointers I have looked after must have been from good mushing lines. Never known a dog that hasn't shown the will to pull when a pup - you HAVE to nip it in the bud!

  • @gabransk Alas i made this mistake and 2 years on its now like walking a freight train lol good fun tho! lol

  • ur puppy is so cute! and at three months old, and she already walks better than mine! whoever walks my dog, has the risk of having theyre shoulder pulled out of her socket. Even if she has a harness or a gentle leader on!

  • gorgeous pup look on my youtube and check out my siberian husky pup he is only 5 weeks now

  • 3 months old and pulling already, gentle leaders work wonders for huskys. Nice pup, good luck with it, they have alot of personality and spirit, you'll have fun with it.

  • I want to get a husky!

  • i would want one toooo!!!!!!!!!!!=]

  • so cuteeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What a beautiful puppy you have there.
