I heard it here in Kentucky, and it was also reported being heard in CA, AL and various other states. IF indeed it is a hoax, someone is darn good at what they do to be in all those locations at the exact same time. It's not a hoax!!! Too many people are reporting the noises!
With headphones you can just about hear the reversing bleeper in this video its louder in others seems this was just a snowplough out doing its thing.
