Just to tell you, in Neon Genesis Evangelion and the manga, this is the 3rd angel. In the Rebuild of Evangelion, this is the 4th angel. The 1st angel is the same in all of Evangelion; it's Adam.

I don't think the first 2 were actually in battle, were they? I know that the 1st one was the trigger of the Second Impact and attacked Antarctica in 2000, but I don't think Lilith (2nd angel) was actually in battle
