its funny reading all these comments. what u guys dont realise is all special forces work together not one is more important it takes them all to get the jobs done. the simple fact is special forces are called on more now than ever each one receives training from the other. also on top of all this all special forces are tier 2, tier one operators are selected from all spec ops around the world and are called on when the job absolutely has to get done. so people i suggest u do ur research first.

SEAL's is good, but not merly the best. Example, SAS is betther, Norwegian FSK/HJK is betther, Germanys GSG-9 and so forth. What makes the SEAL's speciale is that they have so mutch resorces, compared to other equalants.
SAS are not better than DEVGRU(SEAL team 6) the SEALs black Ops Team. SAS are more high speed than the regular vanilla SEALs but not more high speed than DEVGRU. DEVGRU consist's of the best of the best from all the SEAL teams and there are(Well at least when my dad was a DEVGRU operater) 160-180 DEVGRU operater's.

No one has to this day compared to the Irainian embassy siege 1980, If so wheres the evidence? The SAS and their history are light years ahead of other so called SF, and left everyone else alone years ago. The SAS are simply what the creator of DELTA force Col. Charles Beckwith said..."theres he SAS, then theres the rest of us".
The SAS were the first and most experienced SF on earth. Remember that the US SF/Rangers etc were trained and advised by British Commandos in WW2.
Well actually the delta force do very diffrent type of missions, they mostly wear civilian clothes and penetrate enemy soil. Besides the delta force actually has a competitor, The SAS ofcourse. But i still think they are no better than the navy seals cause every force have their own strenghts.

We lost a good friend in Afganistan a few years back, he was one of the 16 Navy Seals that we all lost that evening in a chinook helicopter that was taken down. A father, a husband and a very good friend. He was a New Orleans native that was filled with heart. He made me realize how important it was that he did what he did for us, for him, for his family. Sorry we lost any SEALS that day.

The KSK is a special selected group of operators who train for long periods of time with other units, its called cross training..., They are working with SEAls on missions in Afghanistan as well.

Stripes, telling someone you're in DevGru isn't breaking opsec. Unlike the Army with Delta, the navy acknowledges DevGru's existence. The only thing the Navy doesn't acknowledge is that DevGru supposedly replaced Team 6 as the main counter-terror team. They claim development group is just that- a team that develops weapons and tactics.

The SAS and their history are light years ahead of other so called SF, and left everyone else alone years ago. The SAS are simply what the creator of DELTA force Col. Charles Beckwith said..."theres he SAS, then theres the rest of us".
The SAS were the first and most experienced SF on earth. Remember that the US SF/Rangers etc were trained and advised by British Commandos in WW2.

Well actually the delta force do very diffrent type of missions, they mostly wear civilian clothes and penetrate enemy soil. Besides the delta force actually has a competitor, The SAS ofcourse. But i still think they are no better than the navy seals cause every force have their own strenghts.

Yes i know Naval Special Warfare Developement Group. In Short DevGru. If your buddy told you he was a DevGru operator then he broke the OPSEC rules. They are not official so they are not allowed to identify themselves as a secretive counter terrorist unit. But seriously, if anyone comes claiming here that "Im delta force" or "my buddy is a devgru operator" i dont really buy it. Anyone can say that, but no offense, its possible but then again, your buddy endangered himself.

hoffmeister3050 i agree with you. SEALS are the best in the world. for everyone out there that says SAS or all those other special force groups are better than SEALS, i say your wrong there. SEALS is SEA, AIR, and LAND. all the others only focus on pretty much one of those. and SEALS training is the most brutal. atleast 13 months of training followed by advanced training which is like and extra 6 months or more

We lost a good friend in Afganistan a few years back, he was one of the 16 Navy Seals that we all lost that evening in a chinook helicopter that was taken down. A father, a husband and a very good friend. He was a New Orleans native that was filled with heart. He made me realize how important it was that he did what he did for us, for him, for his family. Sorry we lost any SEALS that day.

Delta are operators, they have nothing to do with Rangers besides they work with them. Rangers are specialized infantry units and Delta Operators work in small teams. I dont know where u got "Delta Rangers" from. Kinda sounds like a stupid ten year old airsoft team.

They alone can insert from air, land and sea. They HALO and HAHO jump. They use submarines.. Rangers are a well trained army unit, but are very mainstream, SEALs are guerrilla soldiers. They wear enemy uniforms, no dogtags, no sign of rank. Groups of 8 regularly engage groups of 40. They can mobilize and respond faster than u

The KSK is a special selected group of operators who train for long periods of time with other units, its called cross training..., They are working with SEAls on missions in Afghanistan as well.

nothing compares to BUD/s Hellweek. u gotta learn that u can make it through the pain for 2 days and after that ur running in automatic, u cant feal anything really. the first 2 days of BUD/s have the highest dropout rate I think
