@MzLoriAnnAWA CO2 is a non-issue. It is a mere trace gas at 0.038% and the more of it we can liberate from sequestration, the more food there is for life on this planet, the more green the planet becomes and the more food we'll have to eat. So, there is no "CO2 Problem" that needs solving.

...lets get at least one thing straight, bio fuels were going to be the next big thing because Europe and the world had massive annual stockpiles of such seeds with no market to sell them to because they were giving farmers subsidies. The world changed with the rise of the BRICS and now the market is buying all food. There is no large scale bio fuel market, it was a failed idea. There is only ethanol from sugarcane and that market will end.
The average person knows that Global Warming has everything to do with fear generated carbon credit implementation to make the rich richer and the middle class and poor, poorer. They also notice that this carbon credit system will not be saddled on the polluters in Asia and South America. Its a big fraud and with the way the economy is collapsing, I don't think they'd be stupid enough to try it.
I have had arguments with scientists. I am NOT trying to paint them as rosy.
But the whole CLIMATE thing just doesn't paint the right picture of what "observational scientists" are like. Don't confuse this with "theoretical science" which is TOTALLY different.
But what we are seeing is Wall Street and the BIGGEST MONEY with all the INFLUENCE it can buy, declaring WAR on a branch of science.

Go to the library and find Nevil Shute's "No Highway" and there is a nicely written novel you will get the idea, but he really nails it.

History would tell you right, and records from the last decade would also tell you that the Earth is warming. HOWEVER, we do need to solve the problem of dependence on Petroleum as our main fuel.

But the whole CLIMATE thing just doesn't paint the right picture of what "observational scientists" are like. Don't confuse this with "theoretical science" which is TOTALLY different.

Go to the library and find Nevil Shute's "No Highway" and there is a nicely written novel you will get the idea, but he really nails it.
They are NOT savvy people. They often need NON-scientists around them.
You will rarely see them on TV. They figure it is NOT their job. Indeed if one does appear to try get notice, other scientists who work with them will often resent this. They can be petty.

@mayuhavepeace - The science is never settled. That's not what science does. It is always evolving in understanding. The science was settled with the sun going around the earth too, and the evidence for that was far more solid than that for global warming. Anybody looking at a sunrise could tell you that the sun was moving around the earth. It would look exactly the same way. Science changes.
Science tolerates dissent, as does a free society. But climate change does not tolerate dissent.

It is PEER-REVIEWED CONCLUSION BY AN ACCEPTED BODY OF SCIENTISTS.
The issue settled is in these words. THERE IS A *DISCERNIBLE* HUMAN INFLUENCE ON THE GLOBAL CLIMATE.
When EVERY National Academy of Science in the World (32) has accepted that as a proper scientific view, then in that CONTEXT the science is as settled as that of tobacco's link with cancer.

The issue is most certainly not settled. Just because people with a political motivation to say it is, say it is. Explain then those people who say it isn't.
Governments want there to be climate change, so of course their "academies" would concur. Those who disagree are fired or marginalized. Climate change then requires a solution, new bureaucracies and more government.

But facts are facts, Exxon-Mobil spent $23 million funding skeptics. The US government alone has spent over $79 BILLION (with a B) directly on global warming research. That's more than 3000 to 1. That doesn't seem far better funded to me.

So their research has to be geared to validate the claims of the powers that be. To legitimatize propaganda, in other words. Otherwise, they lose the funding.
That is the condition for receiving government money.

History would tell you right, and records from the last decade would also tell you that the Earth is warming. Obviously you do not have the mental capacity to continue in such discussion of this topic due to the clear lack of knowledge and coherence you have to understand a simple discription of what is happening.

All around the world governments are imposing a Carbon Tax. But Star Scientific's Muon Catalysed Fusion produces NO CO2 so therefore NO CARBON TAX. Also NO Nuclear Fission waste it is completely safe NO Fukushima here. It is very cheap to produce so if you care about the cost of your energy you will want this.

Carbon dioxide makes up .0039% of our atmosphere.. our coal powerplants inject .000000001948% more per year... that accounts for HALF of human C02 pollution.
