Catholicism isn't perfect one bit. In recent decades, the number of ignorant and former Catholics, scandalous Priests under Holy Orders, and Bishops teaching wrongly of Church Doctrine have increased substantially. Only few have remained strong in the upward battle of Catholicism. However, the argument that the Church Doctrine is corrupt because our Church members are corrupt is not correct. The Doctrine has remained the same ever since its inception with Christ. Nothing has changed.

Many people believe we have perverted Christianity by worshiping the Virgin Mary. However, we do not worship her. We pray to her. Praying is a simple act of asking someone or something. In Catholicism, we pray to the Virgin Mary and canonized saints to "pray for us." Meaning, we ask them to ask God for protection, giving thanks, the lives of others etc..

People say Catholicism is not Christian as if that's a bad thing. Raw Christianity as based on scripture is impossible, as the Gospels are full of contridictions, failed prophesies, and commandments that are so contrary to human nature that no society could embrace it and survive. Catholicism has been able to do so much throughout history precisely because is has diverged from the Gospel. Unfortunately, the good of the Catholic church has become outweighed by the bad.

Jesus did things on the sabbath to prove to people that you could still help others and do righteous things on the sabbath. God doesn't change, in the old or the new. we still have to obey.

In the bible it says that the dead know not anything...Only God can answer prayers and forgive sins. Why does the catholic church teach otherwise? If people are in heaven now, why would there be a need for a resurrection then? Know what happened to these guys? They were beaten, banished from Rome and excommunicated from the RCC. This wasnt even 200 years ago.

Many people believe we have perverted Christianity by worshiping the Virgin Mary. However, we do not worship her. We pray to her. Praying is a simple act of asking someone or something. In Catholicism, we pray to the Virgin Mary and canonized saints to "pray for us." Meaning, we ask them to ask God for protection, giving thanks, the lives of others etc..

I'm more spiritual then anything else, my best friend is Christian, but we both are fairly liberal people on some social circles. But she has taught me a lot of really neat things about the religon, and The Vatican has always fascinated me about its mystery and secrecy.

The only church is that established without a name in Acts, no Church is a true church if they practice something different then what scripture teaches. Salvation comes by the Grace of God, through faith. Not beautification, not hail mary's, not through infant baptism but through God's choosing. Also there is no reason to pray to saints or mary, Jesus is the only arbiter between us and God

The Church was founded by Jesus when he sent out the apostles, the catholic church was NEVER mentioned in the bible. There is no true church/religion aside from what the bible established as humans are fallen and create false religion (catholic church included).

The original manuscripts (Lost) were copied and developed into three streams, Ancestor of Alexandrian family (New English Bible is the modern), Traditional text (1611 King James Version is the modern), and Ancestor of Westers family (Douay Version is the modern) <--- this was written to counteract the reformation. May I also point out the Dead Sea Scrolls backed up the King James Version.

People say Catholicism is not Christian as if that's a bad thing. Raw Christianity as based on scripture is impossible, as the Gospels are full of contridictions, failed prophesies, and commandments that are so contrary to human nature that no society could embrace it and survive. Catholicism has been able to do so much throughout history precisely because is has diverged from the Gospel. Unfortunately, the good of the Catholic church has become outweighed by the bad.

I questioned a few catholic priests on this and on the Sabbath before and the became very offensive. Why? I know from researching that the catholic church changed the holy Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday...know the whole world believes this.. but what does the lord say...I change not. God didn't change the day of rest....man did. Just because christ rose from the tomb on a sunday doesn't mean the Sabbath had to be changed. the commandments don't change. remember the sabbath day to keep it holy.

Jesus did things on the sabbath to prove to people that you could still help others and do righteous things on the sabbath. The hebrew leaders where so strict that they were missing the whole point of the sabbath. The point is, the sabbath was not changed by christ but by man. do your research and you will see. In the bible it says that the dead know not anything...Only God can answer prayers and forgive sins. Why does the catholic church teach otherwise? If people are in heaven now, why would there be a need for a resurrection then? It was a very good program, I watch it with mixed feelings. History and culture should be preserved, but the catholic faith needs to clean it's own house and move into the 21st century.

But truly the Catholic Church has caused more human suffering than all of the Protestant churches put together. They burnt innocent people as witches and repressed the most scientists, than any of the Protestant faiths...As I said, we Anglicans have our shame, but the Catholic church had 1500 years more sins than we do.
