it's a peripheral for the Nintendo 64 who reads some sort of disks ;)

@Mcoov its used the DD addon to read expansions or DWROM (Direct Write Read Only Memory) and the carts are floppys.

@Mcoov It did. The 64DD was an addon that let it use a proprietary magneto-optical disk. It failed miserably, and nintendo only made, like 10 games on disks...
