This is the first I've heard of Blackmore's Night. I'm an old fan of Purple and Rainbow, and personally, I think he achieved a more "medieval" sound with Dio than he does with this stuff. These songs aren't bad, but they don't have much spark. As good as he is, Ritchie really shines brightest when he picks up the Strat and rocks!
