The object is to have your cue ball make contact with both other balls, but before it hits the second ball, it must have made contact with at least three cushions. It can hit the cushions after the first ball, or before, it doesn't matter, so long as it hits three before hitting the second ball.

This is the only pool game I play.. Where I come from, this is the most popular cue sport! In fact I learned about the pool tables with "pockets" much later. I'm surprised people don't know 3-cushion pool. For me it is much more entertaining than any other pool game.
