You can't really tell. They both were in agreement with fighting. I don't think this is an issue. Why were people bashing Newbury? I heard no Sens fans bashing him, I don't know about Leaf fans though.
One difference, Redden is not a fighter. Newbury is more of a fighter and as far as I know has been at least since in the AHL.
