I would love to believe you sir, but there is a panic and militia anger in your eyes and a hostile reaction to the common denial and lies by gov and specialists that we are all used to by now. Being reasonable and aware is one thing but being overwrought is not the reaction we all need during a crisis. Medicinal radiation exposure has been employed for many many years now. Dosages, probabilities and risks are as defined at this point as they could be. Anyone is able to obtain accurate radiation readings in Japan right now. Anyone with spectroscopy analysis tools at a lab can give you a full breakdown of the exact elements in the air. My own mom just had her CT scan done, which is 50x higher dosage than the highest reported city radiation levels at the moment. Lying is bad you know, stop it. :<

There were four disasters, two others you didn't mention were Three Mile Island and Chernobyl.

As for the corporate aspect, of course they don't want you to have solar panels or wind mills in your back yard. They want to keep you hooked up to the grid and keep your money coming in every month keeping their profits coming. Everyone being self sufficient doesn't put money in their pockets. People need to remember the past and make putting up those solar panels and wind mills a priority IMO.

@DonFanuci726 Self-sufficiency is not an option for many people because of population density problems. In countries like India and China, you have a catch 22. If you want to earn money, you need to live in populated areas. If you live in populated areas, you will never have physical space for wind mills and solar panels - not to mention that you wouldn't be able to afford them. Nuclear plants are not big moneymakers. It takes decades to amortize the $15B USD average cost of a plant.
