This is a nice tempo. This song has been played too fast even by Al's bands in other vids here. I'm sure they got it right due to his influence. Feels good at this tempo.
i agree with you, al wilson was like a lot great musicians that weren't give the proper credit that they are very much over due. if it wasn't for people like al wilson, marvin gay, berry white. if it weren't for people like this. we wouldn't have all the great music that we listen to today

Yes! He was in concert in Glendale, CA. and this was his run through with the band. A chance to iron things out before the show. That's one reason he was facing the band, there was no audience at the time!
I loved this in 74 and still do.His voice does not sound 34 years older.Still beautiful.
