  • First worry about human rights a person, before you let these white people tell you to fight for your women's right, when America still has it in the Constitution that we're 3/5 human.... Don't let them fool you into this B.S. This Feminist B.S. is for the white women... Any ways since when are Black women mistreated by Black men. Music Vids? No Black women are hurting Black women because they sell their, soul to shake ass in those videos....

  • Can someone explain the logic behind putting two words - black and feminism together to generate something sound and with a constructive purpose? What is black and what is feminism? How does it help replace the global system of racism-white supremacy; the most powerful social-political-religious system in the known universe with a system of justice? The men divided from its woman? Do feminists know about the plans of the Rockefellers and that Gloria Steinam was a CIA agent? I need answers.

  • @toyu17 and I'm a guy lol

  • @toyu17 I think u need to reread what I wrote. What I am saying is this chick is being stupid because she "felt" like she was being oppressed and then read a book and then knew she was oppressed. The holocaust victims didn't need a book to tell them they were oppressed, they had the gas chambers. African slaves didn't need a book tell them they were oppressed, the chains, slave ships, plantations and mines were proof enough . But silly feminist need a book to tell them they are oppressed? FOH

  • @toyu17 obviously your not watching enough Tyler Perry.

  • We treat feminism in the same way we treat racism,

We scrutinize any person for feminist opinion,

We refuse to cooperate with a person with feminist opinions,

We ignore and prevent any action from a feminist.

We defend ourselves together against any feminist attack.

We push back the pendulum to that of which feminism has crossed the line.

BUT WE DO NOT MAKE THE FEMINIST MISTAKE OF ATTACKING THE FEMINIST AFTER DEFEATED, WE ONLY BOYCOTT AND STEP AWAY TOGETHER.

  • What is black feminism? I have read about feminism, but that was only pertaining to white women's rights. So what the hell is black feminism?

  • I find that people can't talk about feminism without mentioning the divorce rate. I guess they are upset that women are deciding not to put up with failing marriages.... whereas in the past women were expected to "make it work." If the husband cheated the wife had to make it work.... Now women aren't dealing with the crap in relationships and some view that as a bad thing.

  • I don't call myself a feminist because my beliefs vary, but part of my perspective relates to feminism. For example, I think men and women can have separate roles in a relationship. My problem is with the balance of power. The patriarchy - I prefer co-leadership, egalitarian relationships.

  • thank you!! i like this alot!!

  • NOWW = National Organization of White Women

Do White Feminists want equality with the Black Man? Hell no!

    White Feminists want WHITE EQUALITY.

  • @TheLucy2020 1of2 Peace. I never claimed that the majority of BW were feminists, but the majority is affected by feminists doctrine, even if it’s subconscious. Who exactly were these BP rapists and romancers of WW? No one said ignore BW’s struggles b/c some whites helped our cause, don’t be foolish. Your entire argument’s basis is to exaggerate male misbehavior, while minimizing or simply dismissing female misbehavior as a rarity. Instead of worrying so much about what BM consider relevant,

  • @TheLucy2020 2of2 try doing actual research and present factual unbiased information (names, dates, and statistics) to the masses. If you really want to do more than blame and complain, then start making changes. Educate yourself & your peers on our full history and put the misandry down. If a BW sold her daughter into slavery, then the mother and any potential male purchaser are both equally guilty. One cannot buy what is not for sale. Peace&Respect.

  • @TheLucy2020 1of4 Peace. Look my Sistah, we can compare different cases all day long about who did what to whom, but my question once again, is how does this alleviate your plight? There are mothers who sell their daughters into prostitution for drugs, or have more kids just to increase welfare benefits. You have this notion that the world would be fine, if it weren’t for men starting wars…etc.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheLucy2020 2of4 Look at countries (England for Ex. with Margaret Thatcher) that had female rulers, they went to war and just as many people died as when a man held office. I’m not interested in the rarity of cases concerning false rape allegations, just like rape, one is too many. If a woman protects a man who has defiled her, then she’s psychologically ill and should seek help. You cannot complain about the untold rape rates if they aren’t reported.

  • @TheLucy2020 3of4 Historically speaking, BW are only as important as you make them. There are thousands of unsung heroes from the civil rights era that have gone unmentioned. What about all the whites who marched, took beatings, and participated in sit-ins with blacks? America’s history is written by whites, so it is through no fault of BM who is or is not mentioned. BW were the backbone of the Black Panther Party, try reading “We Want Freedom” by Mumia Abu Jamal.

  • @TheLucy2020 4of4 By joining the ranks of white feminists, BW fell under the umbrella of white supremacy, thus turning against their own men. Feminism taught BW that all men are evil by default, all heterosexual sex is rape, and marriage is neo-slavery. These hardcore feminists were actually financed by men looking to turn a profit from the confusion. The BW has freely given up her man and the only thing she has to show for it is a hollow claim of independence. Peace&Respect.

  • @TheLucy2020 2of2 how males are more likely to be incarcerated & raped while incarcerated, be murdered, have higher suicide/unemployment rates, less likely to benefit from marriage/divorce, unable to qualify for the majority of social programs designed to benefit women, or how males are automatically viewed as guilty when accused of sexual/domestic violence without any evidence beyond a female’s word. Look up Warren Farrell, he's a male feminist with a lot of experience. Peace&Respect

  • @TheLucy2020 1of2 Peace. Males& females are both victims. You’re so fixated on showing females as victims that you completely deny the possibility of wrongdoing on their behalf. That’s not equality, that’s sexism & misandry in their purest forms. I’ve googled this “privilege” list, my advice is get an opinion from someone who isn’t trying to sell you something. The majority of the list is purely opinion-based comments about how easy men have it. I didn’t see anything on the list about...

  • @TheLucy2020 Peace. Well, if asking for any actual proof on your claims of perpetual female victimization is "petty", then much like the way you view all males, I am guilty. What you are unsuccessfully attempting to use is a tactic known as "shaming language". This is when a female resorts to a strategy of name calling or emasculating statements in order to subdue the male & distract from the fact that she has no real retort. Peace&Respect.

  • @TheLucy2020 Peace. Please don't guess about statistics "probably be 20:1". The fact is that you're speaking on subjects based on no more actual research than what you heard on the street or read in a newspaper. How could you possibly know all the info on an African/Caribbean sex trade? You can blame men until you're blue in the face and it won't alleviate your plight in the slightest. Peace&Respect.

  • @TheLucy2020 Part 1 of2 Peace. Every woman is not a victim & every man is not a perpetrator; you appear to have a “victim” mentality, which explains why all the bad things in the world only happen to women through no fault of their own. What about BW who falsely claim rape/abuse in revenge plots against men or the countless husbands killed for insurance money? I suppose domestic abuse did that too. Your “black feminist” ideals make you little more than a pawn of white supremacy.

  • @TheLucy2020 Part 2 of 2 More men are killed in everyday life than women. Male victims outweigh women in every crime, except rape…and that’s only because the majority of men are straight. All the things you mentioned are terrible crimes against humanity, but PEOPLE are to blame, not just males or females. Blaming BM is America’s favorite past time and you seem to be taking full advantage of it. So, by all means please enjoy the full euphoria of tearing down your black man. Peace&Respect.

  • When a White Feminist says "equality", she doesn't mean she wants to be equal to Black men! She wants to be equal to White Men and that's all! She doesn't want to marry a Black man (only a white man).

That's why confronting White Supremacy is so important. Not just settling for gender equality (being "equal slaves" under white people).

Don't be fooled: the White Woman has always been there to love her white man after a "hard day" of robbing the world and raping its peoples.

  • Hi, I'm A Mexican man and I've seen what "white feminism" does to my own community. It teaches Women's Studies from a white woman's privileged history. Imagine that: the most privileged women are preaching to the least privileged! Gender Equality is good, but it is not enough. You can be equal as an "inferior Black person" to your Black men, but if you don't confront White Supremacy as a united people, you'll just end up being "equal slaves" to the White Man and White Woman.

  • @TheLucy2020 Peace. Are you telling me that there are no BW that abuse children, sell kids into sexual slavery, disrespect BM, willfully volunteer for roles in pornography/ “disgusting” music videos, or murder other human beings? The error with this encompassing “men did it” doctrine is that it completely negates any responsibility for the female. You can’t make any one man or even one sex responsible for all the woes of the world, especially when both sexes stand to profit. Peace&Respect

  • @TheLucy2020 Peace. Please take note of my reply posted on 30 May 2011, in regards to your comment detailing black men's "oppression" of black women. Peace&Respect

  • @TheLucy2020 Peace. • @YoungBlackFeminists Without the sperm their is no BABY!

if your overall goal is to seek to destroy men, and make them feel less than a man, then you are only destroying your own womanhood and empowerment because when black feminist get together it is always about the anti-blackman! how can you advance your race if you take away the reproductive element of your womanhood? there can be no C without A &B! feminism is a eurocentric theory not an afrocentric theory.

  • @jjtiojohn12. i'll support feminism when man's liberation is considered being able to be a dead beat without fear of the government locking you up. or when men can cry rapeif he got drunk & had sex with some chick and regretted it later. feminism is a joke as is any thing that preacher that one gender is superior when any sane person knows we are complentary not the same. feminism is probably the best tools used to depopulate black america.

  • @jjtiojohn12 feminism is the work of satan.

  • @SLRok Compare your comment with the revelations in the video called "What Women Want is Worship".

  • find yourself a nice black man, who will love you and be his other half. dont degrade or emasculate him with women suffrage crap as being black is hard enough. also do something good for our race by having a baby and staying with this man who you marry. if u drop this feminist crap, im sure u would make a good wife and mother. but feminism goes against the man which goes against the family. be a proud black women, who is a proud black mother and wife.

  • @mykole84 To make a woman complete all she needs is to be a wife and mother?

  • @YoungBlackFeminists. there is more to a woman than being a wife and mother. she is also a sister, friend, daughter, aunt, etc and in those roles are teacher, cook, cleaner, nuturer and leader (not like a man, but woman are leaders in their own way). women r the reason many men r the way they r. i mean how many chicks have u seen dressing provocative (yeah she gets attention but only short term). whereas a real woman should only dress provocative in front of her man when the kids r sleep. lol.

  • @YoungBlackFeminists. yes. a mother is a leader to her kids and nurturers. i mean those are relationships that last forever which is why kids nor parents can replace each other while many other relationships are superficial and regulary replaced. a husband and wife are supposed to be complementary. only teaching men and women how to maximize their natures will do that because we are here because our parents made us so we are a continuation of our parents.

  • @YoungBlackFeminists Yup... I ask the same... smh

  • @YoungBlackFeminists

WOOSH! thats the sound of you missing everything he said. Enjoy a failed race. Complete with women who hate their men . The feminist movement has done more to hurt the black race then the Klan could ever hope to.

  • @YoungBlackFeminists im curious on why you call it black feminism and not just feminism and if its diffrent from white feminism(if it exists). also why are there still feminists? it was a movment on equal rights and you have them. so im not sure why people are trying to keep a movment going that has already gotten what it was trying to achieve. these are actual questions btw. mind you even men have had sexual oppresion by the oppisite sex and same sex. its not just a black issue.

  • Slaves and victims of genocide are oppressed. YOU KNOW WHEN YOU ARE OPPRESSED. If you have to read a book to tell you that you are oppressed. You most certainly are NOT oppressed.

  • @YoungBlackFeminists There is no obligation to be a married, but I'm sure you have seen that single motherhood without marrying the man first is spreading like wildfire. I can only trust you wouldn't do so on purpose. If you are a feminist who doesn't plan to have children and marry that man, those people who are married with kids, could feel that, by affecting custody laws etc, you are meddling in their family life which may already be under strain for enough other reasons.

  • @mykole84 "be his other half" --That notion is rather unhealthy, not to mention obsolete and pathological, which is a major reason relationships FAIL. People who come together in relationship must first be TWO WHOLE PEOPLE to relate lovingly to each other. They come together to advance each other's progress as human beings on this planet. Raise the level of understanding brother, raise the level. There is no more time for nonsense and misunderstanding, so get with the program.

  • @mykole84 You will hear nothing but crickets when you speak reality to victim card carriers

  • Peace to all. After watching your first video, I wanted to know exactly who is oppressing modern day black women. In addition, the brave heroines that you mentioned (Harriet Tubman etc.) were fighting for ALL black people, not just black women. I find it incredibly ironic that through your body language (rolling your neck and eyes heavily) you are actually embodying the very negative stereotypes that you're trying to cast off. For Black Feminism to exist there must be a boogey man.

  • @HeartlessOctober That's funny.

  • @YoungBlackFeminists Peace. I didn't expect an actual response, seeing as how you choose to deflect any intelligent debate with an attempt at humor. If you can't effectively respond to any of my aforementioned points, then please spare yourself the effort. Peace&Respect.

  • @YoungBlackFeminists

or instead of avoiding his question, you could answer.

  • ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ BORING

  • @BLKRevolutionHDTV Well you still watched it....Thanks for the view.

  • @YoungBlackFeminists Proof that feminists are shameless attention whores.

  • Thank you for this excellent video. I have always been interested in the Combahee River Collective and their mission. It's amazing the group had such a short run, but its legacy is so huge. Thank you for the wise words.

  • @mrgentlemen4u I'm just trying to debunk the stereotypes.

  • I would like you to deal with the Willie Lynch principle of Divide & Conquer the Black Afrikan Family - White European Society placed the Black Afrikan Woman at the Head of the Black Afrikan family because it is easier to control the Black Afrikan family - If Black Afrikan Men are divided from Black Afrikan Women because of Willie Lynch - there is no leader - Black Afrikan people need 1 leader

    - Black Afrikan Women or Black Afrikan Men - Zenaslaw

  • Ever since Womens Lib movement the divorce rates have gone higher there are 50 countries that have lower divorce rates the DEVIL wants to destroy the family and Womens Lib was CIA funded to tax both members of the household

  • @sbonner39 That's true yet feminists don''t want to admit that they are a Willie Lynch CIA Creation

  • I've actually read Combahee , it's by Barbara Smith amongst others. I'm ambivalent about feminism in general and Black feminism in particular. Parts I agree with and respect, parts I don't trust. Did you know Fredrick Douglass is considered a feminist in many circles. I am not dismissive of it but there are elements I don't buy into.

  • matriarchy is not a myth. matriarchy exist in the world and the one thing all have in common is no paternal investment. the kids are very are women's kids. men usually if any help more with their sisters kids mainly the boys. the black community is proobably the best example of matriarchy in america & its gotta stop. men should be head of household but feminist dont like that b/c that sounds like slavery. housework is becoming unbearbale for women so is motherhood. & thats so sad but true.

  • @mykole84 U agree. Tell the truth

  • thanks feminism for making misandric laws. (divorce, child support, alimony, child custody, domestic violence, rape, sexual harassment law that favor women over men) there r 2 reason why people are marrying less. once is divorce and its laws and the other is related to the first women are no longer virgins (promicous woman more likely to divorce and win the case). the bad outweighs the good & that sad b/c marriage is good. but this is what yall want. have fun with the matriarchy

  • @mykole84 Matriarchy is a myth and I never attacked the institution of marriage. Your response is related to my video.

  • @YoungBlackFeminists May I request your historical sources that matriarchy is a myth? Maybe you are reading some different books than the ones I am reading.

  • @mykole84 I agere with u 100 percent. When u point this out to feminists, they neglectto see the truth and call u a sexist person. Feminism has destroyed the family and actually promotes the destruction of their male counterparts therefore its not about gender equality as they have claimed.

  • @YoungnRomantic The other issue is feminists tend to dismiss men's claims or they simply manipulate the issues at hand.

  • @YoungnRomantic. thank you. the funny thing is if u destroy the male u indirectly destroy the female. i dont know if feminist are all man haters or women who cant get man. the stuff they spew is highly anti-male. only stuff i hear women who dont like men say. feminist are destroying womenhood in the process of destroying manhood. i cant believe she said matriarchy is a myth. im still waiting for a feminist to argue with logic.

  • tell every black female you know to google she boon and chimp out. pass it on

  • I never heard of Combahee River Collective. Thanks for tuning me to it. Although I consider myself an unapologetic feminist, I've always felt uneasy over the movement because it's overwhelming being represented by middle and upper class white women and therefore never delves into the entire scope of oppression: the intersection of race and sexism. Thanks for being a positive voice in a too long stigmatized movement.

  • @cannedkitty Thank you! Comments like this are the reason I started the channel.

  • This is great stuff. I really appreciate the fact that you do research, read books, and think through the ideas in order to bring the politics up to date. Most YouTube political commentary is based on ignorance, half-truths, lies, misconceptions, and stereotypes. I had never even heard of this group until this video. The statement captures the spirit of the 60s -- full of optimism that struggle and organizing could indeed change the world. It's something that's sorely lacking today.

  • @binhthanhvo Thank you!! I try. LOL Basically I like sounding like I know what the hell I'm talking about. Your last few videos have been really great. I really enjoyed the one about the BP oil leak. I'm going to have to watch wage difference video.

  • @YoungBlackFeminists You're welcome. I try to do as much research as I can before I go and make a video too, and I'm glad you liked one of my videos unrelated to feminism. The wage gap video was made to address the fact that people who deny the pay gap between men and women point to Farrell's book as the final authority on the matter when his analysis is highly flawed.
