This year was cool.I didnt think it was as scary as I thought it would be.Whats the thing say in parentheses next to the buried alive thing on the poster witht he prices???
I went a few nights ago and got chased by a bloody guy around the wholee property!! ahah so much funn!
a few questions about Buried Alive:
Where is itt? Like in the ticket house area?
How long is it?
Can people watch me get "Buried"? I saw the TV screen above the coffin and someone said that it was like connected to the coffin, showing footage of whats going on inside of it.
Yes, Buried Alive is in the place where they sell tickets. It's two and a half minutes long and the only person that can watch you is the employee working in there to make sure you don't pass out or die or anything like that.
My friend had his birthday party there last year and when we went I saw about 30-35 horror movies that week so i cried* and my so called 'Friend" was scared too so he stayed with me. i know it's weird.
* I was 9 years what do you expect, for me to pee my freakin' pants
The mansion is scary for some people and not scary for others. It's not that scary for me but I'm into that kind of stuff. I've seen people there freak out and get scared out of their minds. It just depends on what you view "scary" as.
wait, the new attraction buried alive did you do it? and if you did like what happend? bcz i am considering going there. i just went to the factory of terror which want really that scary
In Buried Alive, you lay down in a coffin and it gets closed on you. It's pitch black and the coffin shakes and moves around and you can hear people outside of the coffin talking to make you feel like you're being buried alive. It's not really scary unless you're claustrophobic or afraid of that kind of stuff. The actual Haunted Mansion is much much scarier.
It's ok I don't mind answering questions. I would say you're in there for maybe around five minutes. Maybe a little longer. When I was waiting in line, it seemed like the people were in there much longer but when I did it myself it didn't feel long at all.
I don't recall anything smelling inside the coffin but then I again I did only go on the first night. I didn't try getting out of the coffin but I wouuld guess it's locked so people don't mess around with it. There's an employee standing right next to the coffin the whole time anyways though. I'm probably going back on Sunday and I might do it again.
I found out last night that the coffin is in fact unlocked but if you open it the ride ends and the ride is only 2 and a half minutes long. The first time I did it though and I didn't expect anything it felt longer.
Yes if you open the coffin the ride ends and you have to get out so you should only open it if you much too scared or something unhealthy is happening to you. Buried Alive isn't part of the Haunted Mansion, it's in the building where you buy tickets. You'll know it if you go there.
That's why you have to get there early and even when I haven't been there early I've never waited longer than an hour and it's actually like 15 minutes when you go in. It's a matter of opinion if you think it's not scary. It's not scary to me but it's fun and that's what matters. The money goes to schools and good causes too.
I live in Rockland (right next to Abington) and me and like 20 kids from school are going there tomorrow night. Haha I have a feeling that I'm gonna piss my pants XD
There's a new room in the place where you buy tickets and for $10 you go in and they lay you down in a coffin, shut it, and the coffin moves around and vibrates to give you the feeling that you're being "Buried Alive". It's not really scary compared to the mansion but it's pretty cool to see something new.
"No profanity, inside or out." Guess that trumps me.
