It is a compliment to the production and the acting that the movie seems so real and natural that you would like to believe this will continue in a real life situation. I would not call Will ignorant. He is very intelligent really. He just needed to awake to that fact.
I love it that Maggie is teaching these young men how to act properly. She builds up all of their characters and teaches them how to respect her ignorant husband. The girls are spoiled twits who only want to get married. The more Wil Mossep learns from Maggie, the more he's getting to respect himself. And the other young men respect him as well. They are going to be family and will raise their babies together as young couples. With Maggie as the head, they'll do fine. :)
