He is only 20 years old and I've got to agree with Opalance.. Morten has got potential and the experience of playing against Wang Hao will only push him to do better.. He seems tense in this match, which is understandable, but he should not use his energy on thinking of whom he is playing against, but simply on his play.. That is the classic mistake amongst newcomers. I think we will see more of him in some years inspite of this cruel and merciless match, since he sure has got the drive..

Morten is good, just not as the same level as the reigning world champion of course. I think he tried too hard to stretch himself up to Wang Hao's level and missed shots he would have normally made. This was his first real tournament, and man, get in a group with the world champ, thats rough and cool at the same time. Not sure how old he is, but looks college age, could be one of the top US college players, 2300-2500 or so I'd say, but anyone would lose in this scenario.

I think the score was so bad because he tried too hard and missed shots he might not normally have missed. Not saying he could have won, or nearly won at all, but it could have been more like 11-4 or 11-5 instead of 11-1 like he showed in the second game. He was probably also nervous as hell...
