  • Fuck you mosquito ¬¬

  • When it stopped at about the 3:00 mark, I looked at the play bar and it was only halfway through, and I thought "uh oh..." sure enough, it started right back up again. This is wonderfully unsettling.

  • ... but not literally!

  • The first time I listened to this, it was LATE at night. It goes without saying that I pretty much wet my pants.

  • susumu hirasawa is a music genius

  • Is there a version of this with the "Excuse me, who are you?" voice over line in it or do I have to create it myself?

  • Easily one of the creepiest songs I have ever heard.....

It actually sounds like you're losing your sanity.

  • Reading creepypasta + This music playing in another tab = High Octane Nightmare Fuel Unleaded

I love scaring the crap out of myself sometimes.

  • @SilverMoonDance1 do you frequent tvtropes, by chance? ^.^

  • Writing a horror flick and describing the music I wanted for it to my composer was hard and then I remembered this track and what's he's given me so far is equally as creepy. So, yeah one piece in Perfect Blue inspired an entire score.

  • The reason this song is High Ocane Nightmare Fuel is because there wasn't anything bigger than High Ocane.

  • DEAR GOD WHY

  • sometimes i can't stand listening to this, altough it's so brilliant.

  • This doesn't just describe the movie, this IS the movie.

  • I heard this before. But I can't find out where. It was some tune. Someone must have used this as a sample

  • @Leinerus:

Perhaps you mean the Nintendo DS game Dementium's main theme?

  • @Trazen4 Nah, I think it was in that GTA4 film.

  • This song really upsets me. It captures the absolute darkest moments of isolation and loss of identity. I didn't think the score captured the atmosphere of the film at all times, but jesus christ Masahiro Ikumi was struck with a moment complete genius when he composed this. It's that perfect moment in the life of a soundtrack composer. It doesn't capture the feeling of the film; it IS the film.

  • IS THIS song:

    a. anti-melodic

    b. melodic

    c. counter-melodic

    d. melodic, but complicated?

  • @HuhOhIc Well, it's definitely not atonal, that much I can say for certain. As for "melodic" well, that depends on how you define "melodic". For me it is, but that's because I'm used to dissonant melodies.

    It's still scary, though!

  • I love you for uploading this! Thank you!!

  • I love this song. It just express madness and loss of reality.

  • Love this film! ^^ This song is so creepy and I love it. Where did you find the picture? :3

  • @MeleeMania First page on Google if you search "perfect blue" (:

  • BUT IT DOSENT BEAT EVANGELION!!!!

    Still affected my thou :[[[[

  • Freaked me out for a few seconds.

  • It's horribly repetitive...It's like: I get it! It sounds like ghosts screaming in pain!

    Meh

  • @MentalSelfMutilation Repetitive? I love it!

  • @MentalSelfMutilation It's background music really. shit is going on when you hear this.

  • RIP satoshi kon.

  • @spaceaquariumm She died?

  • @MIZUKI901 He, actually (the director). Such a shame...

  • Realy Scary .. japanese fuckin crazy guys xD

  • O.O? You only "love these song", I'll make love to these song. =D

  • @gerbosan OMG songfilia!, but ummmmmm well was fun after all, i really like this song
