wow how did you make it mayn? thats fuckin awesome ! i want one for my saltwater tank it will look amazing when coralline algae grows on it, how can i make one for a saltwater?
@tails12993 Tamiya Orange drybrushed over a back layer of Tamiya Red Brown. The are also hints of the ship's original colours which are white, hull red, black, metallic grey and gold.
Yeah about them boilers, I used 4 coca cola pop bottle lids I painted a rusty color and they look good to. I like how you used the funnels for your boilers. Most people making the wreck model would thrown the funnels away unless they was doing the raise the titanic model
@SuperTerminatrix Just remember that Titanic has five boilers in a row. It really doesn't matter what you use as
boilers so long as they match your working scale. I have used other parts of the four funnels for the wreck model; they represent the smokestacks as the lie today, broken up and collapsed on the sea floor.
@Danieltitanic1912 It's made out of a 1/350 scale minicraft model kit that i bought and customised. I used plaster of paris and ply wood to replica the ocean floor and hobby sand to recreate the rusticles that drape the Titanic's hull.
Oh my God....u made this exactly model....wooooooow how u did that....& which material u used for this???..........cardboard paper or a metal?......amazinggggggggggg u r talent....
@mmahesh911 Thanks :) It is made from 1/350 scale minicraft model kit which can be purchased from all good hobby shops. Basically I used a heat gun to get the affect of twisted steal and recreated what the Titanic looks like on the ocean floor. Some parts like the engines I had to build specially. I then painted the ship as it would like when it hit the sea floor, After that I used sand mixed with PVA glue to make the growth that covers the ship. Then I applied 2 coats of paint to get the rust.
i was gonna do a minature version of the wreck. a Britannic one. another minature "raise the titanic one".. lots... but I was never good enough to accurately do one as all i had was glue and imagination. This is truely great, i applaud you.
@1999UTD Well personally, I rather like your wreck model :) I know it's not the best in the world and neither is mine by any means but the models do something more than make a good conversation piece, they tell the Titanic's ill-fated story.
place it underwater and video it!
