Im a Padstow Boy and understand the feeling involved as muddymullet said she looks in good spirits and high stepping, long may she continue just like ours
Fabulous, alas the drummers don't use the same bombastic accenting on the recorded version I have, but they are walking in quite a hot temperature, providing live music, so brillaint! Our wonderful heritage!
good clip. tune is good but to much drum. poor dancing in horse standing still makes the horse look bad.. small crowd and has a chance of dying out hope not though. check out old oss 2007 for proper horse dancing. padstow pride
Thanks for this- I really enjoyed it and what great accoustics Banbury High Street's got. On the tide - Malcolm (Big Fella) Woods, one of the Minehead Crew
Hi Malcolm!I was watching this video of the Hobby Horse and recall my time in Dunster on MayDay 1995.I'm the Yankee chick from NJ who met the lively crew down at the Stag's Head & we did a rendition of "Johnny B. Goode" in the pub using the accordion drum and pipe. Are you the same Malcolm from that wonderful day when I traipsed along wearing my velvet green with you guys & the revellers all the way to Minehead and ending at the Red Lion? What a great time!I'll always love Somerset
