@XCrazyXChefkochX yeah, also Vectra 1.6 105 hp does 210 but this is 2-lane road, not highway so high speeds too dangerous and can't speed up very well. Insignia 1.6T can does 260 on highway (gps speed like 240-250)

The Insignia is a fantastic car and very beautiful too. I drive many cars at work, Audi, VW, Seat, BMW, Volvo.. but the Insignia is definitely one of my favourites.. especially the 160PS diesel.

@xronisxronis 225 is the ideal condition's top speed and they dont drive in redline.. and only Bentley shows real speed on indicators, all of other manufacturers have tolerance between %5-10 so 260 km/h is actually 235-245 on real speed, you can see this on GPS.

this car can goes 260 (real 240) on straight road, dont be jealous ;)

Insignia 1.6T does max 240km/h as I've seen so far,which is very good for 180hp,imagine that Astra OPC reaches this speed with 240hp,for more speed...you have the 2.0T or the OPC version,but 1.6 is the best by being a smaller engine,with smaller takes and a with a far more less consumption than other cars.

Your interior lights don't go red in sport mode?

And when you put the key contact,the RPM and speed indicators go to 260km/h and back? You have a great car,enjoy it :)

1.4tsi is small...and a gr8 engine like that 1.6 but is small for big cars.....it may have HP but is strong high rpm..try go uphill with 1500kg low rpm u will see....

and the durability of a big engine is far better.....a 2.0tdi will make 500.000 without major probs....i want see you do that with that one;)

@kal12345 you're right, I'm agree with you. but in Turkiye, tax price is determining by cylinder volume like <1400, 1400-1600, 1600-2000 etc. Insignia 1.6T is the best engine for price/performance ratio.

in take-off with low rpm not very well but there is no problem with rampage in 6th gear 120 km/h constant speed with low rpm.
