I agree with VanceRox, just leave it sitting there in the water, then run & jump on it. Although, i see alot of skimboarders at the beach where they'll run with the board and throw it, then ride it. Whatever works best for you is what i say. I plan on getting one this summer and practice on it. Babysteps, then work my way up and possibly do some tricks on it. But for right now, i just wanna learn how to ride one..then take it to the beach and ride it.
didn't you watch the instructional video that came with it, if you emulated what they did you might get props but since you just sitting in it your gonna get hated on.
u do it right , but with this u should try placing it at the end, and starting on the grass and jump on. with solid ground(not sand) underneath you, the board doesnt need to be moving, and just run and jump on. trust me, its better. *i own one and im a very good skimboarder
