and sinners have a chance in heaven if they repent. one who nevers sins, has apparently no merit, since jesus said he didnt come here for the just. boohoo
if you do receive this message Ted. I would just like to tell you that no matter what anybody has done in their lives they deserve a second chance. The scriptures clearly say god loves us first why can't we love back another a human and dignify him as a human.... you have provided so much for people and you can't even get one quater of their approval. they should forgive automatically.
I am shocked, really! It is unacceptable a leader, a pastor or whoever to do such of thing. If TED is a Follower of Christ that means he follows Christ's Way of Living by obeying His commandments. And HOW he did it??? Oh,yah, by playing bisexual! Well, Jesus hasn't done it, isn't He??? How then someone can explain me his behaviour??? WWJD??? need to be the first question BEFOR you DO SOMETHING, isn't it??? Well,Ted didn't do it and...he failed!
Anyway, the lesson in this is that people need to look to God directly for their spiritual fulfillment and not look to church leaders. See church leaders for who they are, people who are or should be also trying their best to refect God. Church is a place or an organization where people help each other in their mutual goal of living a spiritual life.
It is so sad how society makes these rules that destroy peoples' lives. So many people live in misery because society decides that people born gay should live a life against their natural tendencies, tendencies that are not harming anyone. I am a heterosexual who hates every kind of oppression. How many of his fellow pastors or church members have closeted lives of one kind or another. Godliness is living with love, caring about each other and not hurting others - not all these other things.
@1Thir13teen3 the church took alot of his property and forced him out of his home...he built that church and they kicked him out. he is so humiliated with what he did and he feels he deserves the injustices they put him through. after watching this i realize that he is so much better a person than people think
I honestly don't know about homosexuality and genetics. If what you all are saying is true, that homosexuality is found in the genes of human beings, then Jean Calvin was right about Absolute Predestination...
Maybe if he had preached a sense of moderation, sensability, and accepting of gays in the first place, he probably wouldn't have had half the problems. This is what a person gets for believing and preaching in the hard core evangelical sector, I don't feel sorry for him one bit, though I hope he learns the best lesson Jesus taught, "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you". Why didn't he just start a new church anywhere and be open to gays? not the brightest guy in the world.
Have no sympathy for this man. He preaches discrimination plain and simple. If a KKK member was thrown out for having a Black mistress - would you share the same sympathy?
I actually feel for the guy. Those Christians are mean, even to their own people. Then again, the Bible does having negative teachings towards homosexuality, and that's coming from a gay atheist.
@TheJamesvanmiert I know what you mean. What I can't get over is the lack of reflection by his former church...like if Pastor Ted is bisexual...surely it can't be simply a choice but must have a physiological root. I don't believe that "I was exposed to some gay thing at 12 and that affected me and made me struggle with same sex attraction shit" because frankly who hasn't seen something gay-ish in there life. What matters is that thing affected Ted and made him realize he bats for both teams.
@PolemicisTdotNet It's in a gene to be Gay. So it's even beyond personal choice. And even if it wasn't genetic, how does it matter to an individual if another is gay or not?
@PolemicisTdotNet yeah but in the first segment ted mentions he has been unfaithful. is that a sin thats forgiven ? who cares what he cheated with? and what about meth? and also whast happening with hi, now? i know his struggles but havent heard of him in a year or so
How the hell can he be removed from his church, told to leave his home and told he can't do his job elsewhere? As usual, this is just more evidence of hypocritical Christian bullshit. Haggard admitted what he did and should have been forgiven.
@arthuronfacebook Agreed. It's one thing to sign a non-compete deal, quite another to be told to leave a state. I don't think even Obama has the Constitutional authority to "banish" someone from their residence.
Haggard should've told the Church to fuck themselves and taken it to court.
He seems like a nice dude just reading a book motivating people.

There's something strange or dangerous about him. He's preached hate for sinners, has been proven to be a hypocrite, yet he still smiles.
