For people wondering about Taiwan/China issue. Taiwan is NOT a part of China politically (although PRC may claim so). Schism happened during Communist Revolution when KMT party was expelled and fled to Taiwan to set up a democratic government while the Commies (led by Mow-the-dung) were taking over. Culturally, Taiwan's similar to rest of China. It's just like how East Germany's similar to West Germany. Some Taiwanese (like me) support reunification if and only if China becomes non-Communist.

Ok i think i should clear up a few things for everybody. FIRST OF ALL, Taiwan is NOT a part of china. China and Taiwan became separate in 1949 when the Communists overthrew the Nationalist government and won the civil war. Chiang Kai Shek and his followers fled to TAIWAN where they were protected from attack from the Communists by an American fleet. Taiwan has a different flag and government system. China and Taiwan are 2 different things

Economic growth affects income. And besides, China's pollution means its economic growth is not sustainable, and in fact, in the long run, will have negative impacts on economic growth and basically everything else.
