Depressing? No way! This shows people at their most caring and "human!" Listen at 5:52... It works. If people ask me to perform as a clown, I usually try to avoid it as some kids (and adults) are terribly frightened of clowns. I can be rather silly and no makeup is necessary!

This is a wonderful program. I wish more children's hospitals would support "clown rounds." Yes, there is the occasional child who doesn't know what to make of the person in the funny outfit, but most children and parents love the sight of someone who's come to brighten their day. :o)

wow....richard amd deb are two of my heroes....I love working childrens hospitals and I wish i could get in on a project like this...but when richard said see ya later patater that made me get chills...thats how affecting that was....wow

Clown Therapy--what an idea! It is true that laughter does heal. The whole concept of caring clowns was brought out by Hunter "Patch" Adams and I am very proud to know that his work in that field continues to live on in the hearts of clowns everywhere.
