@MrAnthraxis Well yes, but the pun is of course that Basil thinks that Manuel speaks Pidgin English, which is a mix of someone's native language and a primitive form of English, and pidgin is pronounced the same way as pigeon (they are even etymologically related, if I'm not mistaken). Because I was referring to Basil's view of Manuel's English, I used the spelling "pidgin".
