So as soon as I saw this video i tried it with some matte red lipstick and a gold shadow and loved it but it didnt look as awesome as this so last night i went out and bought lady danger and gorgeous gold. Im wearing it right now with winged liner and am obsessed with it!

An even more dramatic option is to line the lips in a redish tone, then the orange lipstick and a goldish shadow in the middle of the lips like you did. It gives the appearance of fluffy tridimensional fire.

The elf eye transformer works really well for this! Using the blue shade turned my red l/s to an awesome and bright blue pink, and even green looks cool with some colours!! Thanks to for the tip!

I do something similar when I want to mattify a lipstick. I put on my shtick, blot it a little and then put a light sweeping of translucent powder over the top with my fluffy brush.. not too much though - just enough to take away any shine. xxx

This also works fantastic with any colour shiny lippie and a metalic/glitter eye creme. I do it all the time with a lush nude/pink/deep red lipstick and some gold-bronze creme shadow.

@PencilsNPencils You're mom is absolutely right. When younger girls wear a lot of makeup it kinda attracts the wrong attention and can make people judge you poorly. Especially when you wear heavy black eyeliner and some lip color. Cherry chapstick and maybe some clear gloss are your best friends :)

PS i have a scar on my lip exactly where you have yours. mines waaaay more noticeable of course, probably because im brown and its only about a year old! when they stitched me up they didnt line up the vermillion border as much as my OCD ass wouldve liked so it drives me nuts sometimes. >.< any special tips for lip scars? id love me some Cora knowledge on that.
