  • I love my wonderful curly kinky thick hair....I love my dark brown skin and full body.. Wouldn't have it any other way...I wonderfully made..! *Spread love*

  • VERY BEAUTIFUL.....( tears...)

  • This poem is deep. Love it.

  • @gmcmim1 it's kind of shallow, actually.

good poem. but i wouldn't call it deep. but that's just my standards i'm rating it by.

still, good video. since her skin is like chocolate, can i eat out of her ;P

  • @OyonTheAdept Whatever. The poem was deep because she was holding a grudge against someone who had issues with being biracial. forget your standards.

  • @gmcmim1 oh. that makes sense.

  • @OyonTheAdept I'm sure it does. It's just too bad that you did not catch on to it or you don't know a deep poem when you hear it.

  • @gmcmim1 no, i caught onto it. it's just that i wouldn't call this poem "deep". i still think the poem is good, though.

  • I wish everyone could learn to appreciate and love their bodies. They are your temple and the place you should feel safest!

  • I JUST LOVE DIS

  • @AllthingsSweet22 ur crazy. For real. My cousin has treatment centers for women in need like u. O he's black. Is that going to be a problem.

  • Props to the girl that made this video.

  • @AllthingsSweet22 Yo I was with u until u started Hating on All Black Men. I love how u say I hope all Black Men die so black women can start their own race. Think before u type. That's the dumbest thing I've heard on YouTube.

  • @Yojerome303 I HOPE ALL BLACK MEN FUCKING DIE SO BLACK WOMEN CAN START A NEW RACE. think about it you dumb black ass baboon. stay the fuck away from black women.

  • @AllthingsSweet22 i can tell you think your soooooo special!!!!!

  • U STUPID DUMB BITCH U WILL NEVER LIKE YOSELF!!!!!!!!!

  • i always noticed how black women were filled with self hate ..is this why??? i dont understand...black women been loving them light skin men for years but you dont see black men hating their skin tone or culture...i dont know about some of you black women....im just saying

  • @mddarch2 get the fuck off her video and never come back. I HOPE SHE DELETES YOUR STUPID ASS. this video is RISING ABOVE SELFHATE, something your black stupid ass could afford to do. YOU BASTARDS TRULY MAKE ME SICK. i feel you suffer from self hate and want black women to join you, FUCK THAT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GIRL. black men are dying in RECORD NUMBERS, LOOK IT UP, AND NO ONE CARES. im glad.

  • @AllthingsSweet22 I KNOW THIS IS ABOUT RISING UBOVE SELF HATE! i wrote my comment before i watched the whole video you ignorant ass women.im so glad to hear you are so glad that black men are dying in record numbers and no one cares!! you sellout ass needs to move to europe you will feel more comfortable but im a positive black man who would just embarass your scared to say in public what you say on youtube ass!!! fact is is your just a black women filled with self hate hiding behind he computer

  • Comment removed

  • @mddarch2 im glad you bastards are dying and THE DAY YOU ARE ALL GONE WILL BE THE DAY WE CAN MAKE A NEW RACE. im GLAD!! i didnt read your shit face paragraph because its useless, JUST LIKE YOU. your mother should have been shot in her black ass face so she would have never had you. i hate black bitches because they bring nothing but HATE on earth. you bastards are doomed. IM GLAD. ahahahhah no one likes blck men in a WHITE WORLD. ahahahhahaha bitch

  • @AllthingsSweet22 unlike you!!! a typican coon sellout uncle tome crackkker lover!! i dont think my world or the world revolves around the white world!!! hahahaha you mad it seem as if to you the most important people in the world is white people!!! im a black man and i hardly ever have anything to do with white people!!!! unlike you who is just dying to be accepted into anything white!!! hahaha what a loser you are!!! go worship your white god!!! LOSER!

  • @mddarch2 no YOU ARE THE BIGGEST LOSER!! dont think black women are supporting your lying victim asses. support your asses so you can go on top and bring home everything BUT BLACK. no one wants you niggers around.take a clue and leave with your fat ass beckies. you are ugly as fuck just like most of your ugly ass brother wanting beautiful black girls. PLEASE. they dont want you!! and so!? THEY LIKE REAL MEN. not black ass ugly losers like you.

  • @AllthingsSweet22 ummm are u even black?

  • Thank you so much for this poem

  • she gets it! I like how she broke it down about how the mixed girl felt cuz thats how i felt for years and I still do sometimes...but I love my chocolate sistas and brothas but I feel some of them hate me cuz of what I cant control and because of there insecurties that the white folk done put in there heads...ppl say u not black enough to be a revolutionary or that my hair is good and it makes me so sad especially when children say it.

  • amen!

  • Love it! Always have! Thanks Sister!

  • Well I'm nappy & proud. Nappy is not a bad word. Anyway, we R currently having a discussion on this subject, with some video made by a black man as the showcase. Then someone presented your video. It's very good & I'm glad you understood the problems from BOTH sides of the spectrum of light & dark skin. And your video illustrates how much better black women tend to look at & discuss these issues better than black men.

  • Allow me to say that I may be a mix of Creole, Choctaw, and other ancestries, but I am proud of being a beautiful black girl. Born and bred in New orleans, LA and as fine as the sunrise. I am 18 but also wise for my age. The white people where I live I Georgia mistake me for Indian, LOL.

  • @Sahar736 if your all that then u must not be black!!! im just saying i saw a show about a guy in louisiana or somewhere else and he thought he was black his whole life and when he got a dna test he found out he didnt have an ounce of black in him..he was 0% black he was mixed with some other shit..and he was shocked cus all his life he thought he was black!

  • @mddarch2 I appreciate your insightful comment. Louisiana is demographically and culturally different from other states in the South. In Louisiana, you could find black people that are Creole, Cajun, and even Afro-Latino. Asians and Choctaw Indians can be found, too. Lafayette is Cajun Country. I have a Cajun uncle.

  • @quetstorm9421 black is a slave name! you sound like a Cocoaian Queen! (Co'coai-yan)- a race of people with skin tones from very light skinned to very dark skinned! we are the lost tribe! we lost our original tounge and country! Jesus Christ was Cocoaian! i'm proud of who i am!

  • dark skin woman are so beautiful like light skin woman, i think every african woman is beautiful and have a sexy skin tone,

  • Comment removed

  • This is beautiful. Thank you.

  • dark skin is cute

  • Never divide yourselves melanated people!!! We are the earths pride and majority!! Black, brown, mahogany, burnt orange, ruddy red, yellow we are divinely concocted by our creator! We have never harmed mother earth! Women love your men, men love your sister, your mother, your auntie, your niece, your cousins!! We ARE FAMILY!!! DIVIDED WE FALL UNITED WE BALL!!!!lol

  • @Mrbossman1982

From the depths of hell the white man's evil has arisen to destroy the blessing of God's love to the earth given in the skin of his melanated children...a curse has been inflicted upon the one's who run from the light of the sun who's rays bring life and beauty to the stars and nourish each grass blade. -jiihdism 5/22/2010

  • NOTICE: WILLIE LYNCH AT ITS FINEST!!! Divide and conquer is the motive of the atrocious comment u read a few lines down. Please be ware of it's insidious effect upon ur unconscious mind.

  • @MRbossman1982

You piece of idiotic anus plop, are you scared that our women have it all, which they totally have?

It takes a demon to know the real demons.

You are the ugly troll that comes from a hoe itself.

  • @peasah2005 get AIDS.

  • @MRbossman1982

I think you were the one who spreaded your nastiness than the other way round, moron.

  • @MRbossman1982 If you verbally abuse black women, why watch and comment on this video? This woman is uplifting black women of all shades, not downing them like you are. Take your self-hatred and sexism somewhere else.

  • Africans, shouldn't be afraid of our realities.

This is the wickedness what they taught to hate against what we're, but we have a perfect and courageous lifetime with our lovely looks such as beautiful skin, lovely Afro hair and our massive hips and we should be proud of our lovely skinned looks and not this mythical crap white supremancy program.

  • @peasah2005 that they and who is they

  • It was wonderful

always love yourself, if you think you're beautiful others will think it too

by the way who wrote this

  • this is really nice

  • I never hated my light skin peers, I've always loved me but this poem just makes me appreciate my chocolate skin even more than my other chocolate sisters. I wish they'll open their eyes & see themselves as beauty just as others. I believe there's still too many dark skin girls in the shadow of others feeling ugly they just need to be bright and love themselves as I did at a young age and grew into the beautiful sunkissed beauty along with my other black beauty sistas in a range of shades. :)

  • @NaturallyBeautifulQ Girl, I´m beginning to fall in love with you!!

  • Beauty is within the mind>>>>>>

  • @tammy1ize Why are you even watching this video? If you must blab hurtful comments on these kinds of videos, keep yourself silent and go somewhere else because we good people on Youtube don't want your ignorance premeating our good air.

  • wooooh!!! that was amazing sister... inspired me to celebrate the chocolate in my skin to... thank you

  • I love your words........plz keep them coming.

I love my beautiful brown skin. I love the way sun looks on my skin and how gold compliments my features. From my curves to my long nappy roots, i love being different. I wish ALL women can just embrace themselves, and then the fellas will follow. Learning how to embrace us back.

  • as a beautiful chocolate sista to another it's sad that some women feel that way. i pray that all so-called black women can love there selves and that some of them stop trying to look european.. cause they want to look like us honestly!!!

  • i REALLY REALLY LOVE THIS AND APPRECIATE THIS. I'M MIXED AND IT WAS SO DIFFICULT BEING IN SCHOOL AND TRYING TO FIT IN WITH THE "BLACK GIRLS". I KNEW WHY THEY WOULD PICK ON ME. BUT I ALSO KNEW I DIDN'T DESERVE THAT TREATMENT. I WISHED I WAS LIKEM SOMETIMES SO I COULD FIT IN WITH THE CROWDS. IT WAS JUST AS HARD FOR ME AS IT WAS THEM. AND IM GLAD U EMBRACE UR CHOCALATE SKIN BECAUSE IT'S A BEAUTIFUL THING.

  • amazingly deep beautiful

    you are poetry

  • That was beautiful... it gave me chills, ur poem is nothing but the TRUTH!

  • ha!!

  • Damn that was good!!!!

  • There is nothing quiet about you, your are a breath of fresh air and today, tomorrow and the next, I celebrate the chocolate in my skin... Thank you

  • ugh..enough...

    hate is a strong word

  • i just wanted to say our hair is not nappy it's kinky, curly, wool like hair texture. jesus had wool like hair our hair is r crown so stop putting relaxers in it, its not healthy

  • @queenofsheba1000 loved your opinion. There´s even a music, here in BraSil. It made by a musician named Gilberto Gil. Music´s name - sarara criolo-.

  • @LedtheGreatest - thanks

  • This was amazing! really inspiring! <3

  • Amen sista! Realizing and celebrating the beautiful chocolate in your skin is a wonderful thing. I had to grow up and realize that my skin is beautiful because God created me. Great poem.

  • Beautiful thanks for bringing to the paper and out of your mouth the things that a lot of us sisters feel but may have been too afraid to say it.. you are a beautiful black woman in the skin you are in.. peace love and light

  • I love being Dark-skinned......Black men Love sucking on ME...........

  • ur ugly @babylove07

  • dark skin is not nasty. you just don't like it.

  • lol omg "sexylovegod???"your not even worth the sperm and egg wasted on you, hahahah back to your sulking XD

  • p.s. i was replying to the girl that said all dark skinned girl are ugly...read befor you wright stuff on youtube slow kid

  • @babyloveo7 And just what is your race, I ask you? Youtubers like you need to be blocked from these kinds of videos if you cannot seem to comprehend what is being said. You're probably a dark-skinned man blinded by your own self-hate. You need to just accept the fact that your race is unchangeable and quit bitching. And before you call me a "black bitch, hoe, cum bucket" or whatever, let me say that I'm black and a hodge-podge of other races.

  • That was good,Thank you.

  • that was beautiful

  • That is great, have you been on death jam poetry? You make so much sense. God bless all the people that are confused by lies and silly ideas. x

  • WOW, This is deep!! I love it, I can relate to this.. I get hit on everyday because I'm dark skin. However I remember a time that it wasn't in to be a dark sista< I too forgave and moved on. I love my blackness also. Black Women, There Where None Before Us & There Will Be None After Us!!!!

  • Wow

  • absolutely beautiful.

  • lovely u r so very cool poet. wow that was awsome.

  • that was a beautiful and insiprational poem...thank you for celebrating the chocolate in your skin...

  • Absoluteley beautiful!!!!

  • That was beautiful. Your poem exhibits needed solidarity and sisterhood amongst black women and girls. I have always felt as though I was lacking chocolate in my skin, but your poem had brought me to realize that the chocolate is there. I seem to have been misled by society as to where I stand in society. Its real funny that society has accepted and acknowledged the oppression of white women and black men, but women of color's pain is only acknowledged by us. Funny...

  • G-U-R-L you made my soul say AMEN.

  • Wow this is so powerful and it's the reality of most Black women.

  • black is beautifull,,, my wife is black but dont let your vanity rule your head love.... vanity

  • I love the chocolate in my skin thanks quietstorm

  • WHOA!! this was deep n powerfull.. Itss tru n all blk woman should be proud of coz where blessed... When we are born we blk, wen where sick we blk, when we die we still blk...but white ppl when the are born they red, wen they sick they pink,n wen they die there blue...

  • Thats right!!!!!!!! Love yourself, our skin has been kissed by the sun!!!

  • and I love black lips it's just as sexy as dark brown eyes. you people rally have to get a hols of yourselves. stop waisting time talking about irrelevant things, and do something good with you lives. ALL black from light to extremely dark are BEAUTIFUL!! case closed! ;)

  • Damn! you hate being black? that sux because let me tell you, BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL. ;)

I wouldn't have it any other way, I realy can't understand why some who are black have a prob. with that. it's SUPER sexy, smooth, looks alive and not dead, and beautiful!!!

  • Let me clarify what I just typed. Please do not twist my words to make yourself sound better. I do not hate being Black, and never have done. I thought I made it clear that even though I wanted to be something else as a child, as an adult I LOVE MY BLACK SKIN. What part of that last comment eluded you?

  • This woman was definitely speaking to me - just goes to show that all women should celebrate their beauty...JUST AS THEY ARE! lol I too went through that phase of wanting to be a White girl, but now I've grown to love the skin I'm in so much, I wouldn't change it for the world.

  • hmmmmmmmmmmmm....so powerful..we all know these women..thank GOD we have matured and see the beauty in all of the hues of our sisters. peace love and real hugs

  • you are sister you are words cannot explain but know that if they could wonderful would only make it look simple!!!

  • Amen! Beautiful, just beautiful.

  • DeDe,

I thoroughly enjoyed this. I too am a beautiful dark-skinned, mahogany fawn-eyed natural afro wearing sister with love for all of our beautiful black brothers and sisters.

    Indigo

  • Wow that was beautiful I will celebrate for the rest of my life.

Thank you my beautiful black sista

    for your grace and beauty

My God Bless and keep you safe always

    Peace

    Blackie is my name

And beautiful is who I am

  • wonderful poem * must celebrate my cocoa- ness as well * good poem sis!

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Love it

  • That's funny. You said short nappy hair, dark chocolate skin, and slanty cat eyes. You just named some of the most beautiful physical traits of black women. It kinda shows how sucessful krackers were in brainwashing most of us. They actually made us think that those three traits were unattractive. It's sad but most black folks in this country hate themselves. I'm just glad I aint one of them. -BF

  • Amen sista. My friends used to make fun of me in middle school 'cause I had a crush on this dark-skinned girl in class. She was just so fine to me. Her skin was so shiny and smooth. And her lips were so big and pretty. I was just crazy about this chic. Anyway today she's a runway model working in Atlanta(lol). Even back then I knew dark-skinned sista's were da shit. -BF

  • I'm celebrating with you! :)

    Very well done!
