In Louisiana, you could find black people that are Creole, Cajun, and even Afro-Latino. Asians and Choctaw Indians can be found, too. Lafayette is Cajun Country. I have a Cajun uncle.

I never hated my light skin peers, I've always loved me but this poem just makes me appreciate my chocolate skin even more than my other chocolate sisters. I wish they'll open their eyes & see themselves as beauty just as others.
